Good morning are you all ready for the long weekend are you planning any celebrations. Don't think there are any street parties around here although if the sun shines I am sure there will be plenty of Barbecues.

This week at CRAFTY CATZ it is Janettes turn to pick our theme but sadly she is missing from her blog. She is well but her computer is very poorly and will be back making some stunning creations as soon as possible. So the very talented Bridget has stepped up and written her post for her.

For my card I have used a image from Sassy Cheryls and also the layout is from there challenge blog.

Image coloured with my promarkers doesn't that chocolate cake look yummy, buttons lace and ribbon from my stash. Kept it all in shades of pink with DP paper from which has a lovely textured feel to it but you will have to trust me on that.

Background Text for Craft Challenge

Good evening well the rain has stopped and the sky is clearing. My garden is feeling the relief from the rain and think it will be growing again. My neighbours kids are all sadden by their rabbit dying as a fox got it and the cheeky think sat on the front lawn waiting for my neighbour to go in so it could finish its meal. My dog keeps going to the fence where the rabbit sits with its nose peeping through they sit nose to nose.

Well enough of my dribble and tonight I have my DT card for you from CRAFT. We would like to see background text on your card this can be any text so dig out that script and get crafting.

Good morning the sun is hiding today here and is much cooler.I see I have a few new followers so welcome and hope you stick around. Chris is off work today so not alot will get done tee hee. hope the sun is shinning where you are my washer is on so guess that is something. Oh quick not before I share todays post. Littlebo some of you may know is havings ome computer problems she is well but missing from her blog at the minute but will be back asap.

Now onto my card for your inspiration I picked Gus Birthday - optional from Bugaboo.

I used the colours Red White & Blue for this card and also made this for my Brother. DP is from my stash and the gems are from QVC in a decoupage kit. The sentiments came with the image and hope you can see the inside sentiment. White satin ribbon is from Mia flower. image coloured again with my promarkers. Touch of 3d gloss on the glasses
