Ribbon and/or Lace at Crafty Catz

Good evening a quick post for me as i am a little late with my post for Crafty Catz. Yesterday the lovely Naomi has set our challenge this week and she would like you to add Ribbon and or Lace to your creation.

so onto my card for your inspiration and i have used one of our sponsors images

I have used my promarkers to colour the image and added chalks for the shading round the image. Lace and ribbon from stash. Used my nesties to mount the image and the DP is from a pad called Merry and Bright I bought last year but love this paper. Some gems for bling. A touch for Twine and a christmas tree charm and some cheesecloth.

Whimsy DT Call

Hi I have been looking at this amazing opportunity over at 
Whimsy Inspirations Blog 
they are having a DT Call which is closing really soon and I have decided to try my hand. As my old Nan would say you have to be in it to win it. So keep your fingers crossed for me. It is to work with their stamps and dies wow how amazing would that be. They have some fabulous artists so to be allowed to make cards with their images would be a dream.

I have a brand new card using a Make It Crafty Digi but their Love collection. I am equally happy to work with both Stamps as well as Digital images and have included a couple of older cards I have made using stamps also showing different styles.

My Card features the Make it Crafty - Geeky Love Kiss

Wp is First Edition and I have used a Spellbinders corner die. Large Gem Button and the dress has lots of glitter on the dress and veil but not sure if it shows. The image has been coloured with my promarkers the same as the Wee stamp card below. Satin ribbon and some Silver wedding rings for embellishment

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Winter

Good morning well it is nippy out there now winter is definitely with us now. So a good time to stay in and keep warm and do some crafting.

So now it is my turn to share with you my card which i have used a set from The Cutting Cafe called Winter Bingo and also a previous sponsors image Lacy Sunshine called Rory Christmas Presents

I have stamped and embossed the base navy card with snowflakes from a tiny whisper stamps set and sea foam white embossing powder. Added some metallic ribbon. The bingo card has been shaded with memento ink along with the image edges. The image has been coloured with my promarkers layered onto some white card which has been embossed with dots cuttlebug folder. Dies are Quickutz frames and Memory Box snowflake circle. Lots of tiny gems in blue and clear and some pearls to tie in the background with the diecuts.

Well thats my card for your inspiration I do hope that you can come and join us we are a family site which invites children as well as adults to join us so  how about getting the kids making those christmas cards projects.

Making it Sparkle with some fun

Good morning well winter has arrived. Did you have a good Halloween I didnt get as many  children as I expected this year so there is still some yummy chocolate for MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. Lol

Ok today over on CRAFTY SENTIMENTS the lovely and talented Céline's has a sparkly challenge for you so dig out that glitter gems and mirri card and come and join us.

so now let me share with you my card yes in full swing with the Christmas cards now as I have so many to get done and cant believe even though I have been doing the odd one through the year how many I still need. Are you the same.

 I have used one of the new stamps for Christmas called Having Fun which you can find in our shop by just clicking on the name. Lots of glitter card gems and mirri card to make it sparkle. The image has been coloured with my promarkers. DP is from a very old pad. I have added some glitter on the white matt behind the mirri card on the base card. Dies used are Savvy snowflake, Quickutz frames and spellbinders. Sentiment is from Pookadoodles.

Well another ticked off my list for this year > I hope you like and will come join us remember it doesnt have to be a Christmas card just add some Sparkle.
