Time has a Wonderful Way

I am here with my card for this months Free Stamp of the month at From the Heart Stamps.
I just love their quirky images and if you use the stamp of the month they will send you next months free. Wow how good is that.
Well i am cutting it fine this month but hope that they like it.
I have used the sentiment and the flowers from the stamp set and made this card.
The stamp is called Time to Bloom and if you would like to purchase you can here

I coloured the flowers with promarkers fussy cut them and layered. used a punch for the leaves and the sentiment was printed and cut out with my stitched oval die then mounted onto amarriane die and then onto a tonic die. Used a couture embossing folder for the background and added some lace ribbon and pearls.
I was inspired by the Sentiment just love this and is so true.
Well thanks for popping by and hope you like my card.
Maybe this is the first time you have heard of the progressive challenge if so you really should check it out. there is also a weekly challenge which is ususally a sketch with a twist.

Curious George - Inspired By A Book - Craft Challenge

Happy Thursday nearly time for our 1st bank Holiday of May wow May already where is this year going. It will be Christmas before we know it. Did you join in with Crafts Christmas challenge we had some fabulous entries. Well as it is Thursday it must be time for a new challenge at CRAFT and what do we have for you to play a long with.
INSPIRED BY A BOOK
well I am not one of those people that you find with their nose in a Book so this one is a challenge for me. Think it is something that is very important and I have always made sure that children read from a very early age and have always read to them as soon as they could understand.
So what Book did I pick. Well it had to be a childs book didnt it
CURIOUS GEORGE
"This is George. He lived in Africa. he was a good little monkey, and always very curious."
With these words, H.A. and Margret Rey introduced the world to Curious George

We are sponsored by this week
and
we where also allowed to play with some images from our Star of the Month sponsor All Dressed Up!
So I picked this fab image from All Dressed Up called
Birthday Monkey available HERE
I have kind of gone with a Monochrome colour theme
Image is coloured with Promarkers
DP is A piece of very old |My Minds Eye and a scrap of Falling Leaf craft sensations
Some ribbon and faux stitching.
The corners have been rounded with a Xcut corner punch.
lots of matting with brown and Kraft coloured card.
Well now you have seen mind what book will inspire you cant wait to see.
Why not pop along to the challenge blog and see what has inspired the rest of the team.
Thanks for popping by. Please come back a little later as I have my 2nd post for Julia Spiri stamps.
