Good afternoon folks have a question for you. Do you use glue or tape to stick your card & DP together. I use double sided tape did get from papermil there own and was great price but sadly closed now and rapidly running out. I cant believe how much i use. Have used anita's glue but tend to ruin the paper.
So any tips or idea's are welcome.
I always dst & stock up at the shows as it's much cheaper there, but some online shops are good value too, never use wet glue, & these tape runners are way too expensive, hoe you find a good stockist.
ReplyDeletePS never use the poundland stuff it leaks through & ruins your card,

Am having same probs Sue, where oh where to buy from, I do miss PM....although can it be got on line or is it more expensive....I must admit to being an idiot with it, have gone through rolls of the stuff....lol...now I am being abit more careful...xxxx
ReplyDeleteHey Aunty Sue, firstly I'm sorry being a slacker & being late posting I had this bizarre overwhelming urge to clean my oven before blogging lol.
ReplyDeleteI love Crafts-Too double sided tape which is 99p a roll from my local craft shop. They changed supplier a while ago so stopped selling it & I tried various others which weren't half as good, the paper would lift etc, so after much nagging the manageress changed back to Crafts-Too & even keeps a huge supply to stop me having tantrums lol.
Collall glue is also really good for sticking dp to card it doesn't ruin it at all. I used to get big tubes of it in my Crafters Companion DT kit and always used that as a quicker alternative to tape as we always had a large amount of samples to make in a short space of time

I too use DST I used to get mine too from the Paper Mill but found Imag-e-nation sell the exact same kind! For wet glue I use Bostick all purpose which I found in Hobby Craft but can get cheaper in the Works, Tesco & Sainsburys! HTH x x x
ReplyDeleteHiya Sue, For papers I use sellotape brand of dst and also The Ribbon Girl red backed dst, as for glue or embellishments I always use Wild orchid craft 'Crafters pick' it's great stuff nothings coming off once stuck with that. Hugs Teresa xx
ReplyDeleteDST every time for me. Whenever I am in a craft shop that sells the right kind of tape, I buy even if I don't need it yet, just to make sure I don't run out :o)

Pritt stick and double sided tape. I've discovered that sometimes the DST at shows isn't as good and i've had several bad batches over the years.
ReplyDeleteI use double sided tape. I was using tombow, but have found that when I look back at cards I have made a while ago, it is letting go, so hopefully cards I have sent are not falling apart! I am looking for a new brand so will let you know if I find one that really works well.
