Everyones fave at CRAFTY CATZ & Present for a friend

Good afternoon gosh i think the sun got to me on Friday as i completely forgot to post my DT project for CRAFTY CATZ I think I thought I had scheduled it but sadly not.
So that said what have we for you this week. Well it is Carol's turn to host and she just loves everyone to join in so it is everyones favourite
ANYTHING GOES
So no excuse not to join us this week
We have not 1 but 3 sponsors this week
checkout the blog for details of prizes and the rest of the amazing creations from the team
So onto my project I am bring you a present I made a friend for her birthday last month.

The box is from a local shop which had some lovely white flowers stamped on but the box was a very vivid blue colour so i used some watered down paint to mute the colour. I have used a Cherrylyn Flourish, flowers from wild orchid and ribbon and lace from stash. The centre of the box has a small photo section which I stamped a heart  with a little sentiment and framed it with a Marrianne Heart.
I hope you like as much as my friend as i saw a nice picture of her new craft room and spyed my little box.
So now it is down to you lets see what you are making this week and you never know by sharing you might be one of our winners.
Thanks for popping by and have a wonderful weekend

  3. Hi Sue! This is so gorgeous! I love how you decorated the box! The roses are amazing!
Thank you for your comments and your tips on die cutting.. It does my head in. I tried so many thinner and thicker cardstocks and vellum on top and the flourish still comes out as if you pulled it through a bush, I then have to flatten it a bit. I don't know if this happens normally or if it's just a type of a die cut.. I dread to think I'd invest in a thin floral or similar die cutter and it would look like that. I need to figure this out :)
Thank you! Have a great weekend!
