Good morning and hope your well.
Today it is janette's turn to host at Crafty Catz
janette being Janette likes to mix things up a bit so our optional challenge is
Anything But A Card
This is our last challenge as
we are taking a break for our Summer Holidays so will be back in September
We also have a GDT Call for September with the view that if you feel you fit in with the mad house and we feel you are as crazy as us then you may beable to stay on.
So back to our challenge
This week we are sponsored by
So for my project I got a little messy
I bought this Sledge last year in the sale and never used as it looked a little boring
So I got my Modge podge, inks, paints and embossing powders out
and here it is after lots of messy fingers and messy craft room
I painted the sledge with my paints and dried with a heat tool sorry i dont do the wait till tomorrow.
Then i painted a chipboard tag with white and dabbed blue on .
Stamped the tree and used some silver embossing powder. Stamped and embossed the corners with the same stamp at the top. Added viva pearls snowflakes have been coated with a sparkle modgepodge.
Not sure why the sentiment and deer is showing darker here is another picture from a distance zoomed in
here is a closer look
Flowers where coloured with blue ink and added some sparkle embossing powder to them.
The raindeer is a chippie from a dear friend (oh no pun intended dear) which I pressed into some versamark ink and then covered in silver embossing powder.
Ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons
Another picture showing the other side (sorry hope your not bored)
I die cut the tree from a marrianne die and stamped with the tree from the tag and used my silver embossing powder.
The Door is a Tonic Die called New Home Door which I won on facebook last week. Added some glitter a viva pearl for the latch.
All other dies are unbranded or from friends.
the merry christmas had the same treatment as the Raindeer.
Finished off with some Pearls for the centres of the snowflakes
Sorry the sparkle doesnt show up.
The Tree stamp is from Inkylicious
Well thats my sledge hope you like and you havent fallen a sleep. I dont get to do these things much but when I do I really enjoy them.
Now be honest it does look better than the original doesnt it.
Well now it is your turn you dont have to follow the optional twist but all the girls have so please pop along and see what they have made. There is so many different types and hobbies to inspire you.
look forward to you join us before our holiday break.
Dont forget the GDT/DT call
Thanks for poping by and have a lovely weekend.
