A Little Pumpkin- Crafty Catz DT

Good morning a running a little late this should have been on yesterday but I guess better late than never. So I quickly share this card with you and tell you all about our new challenge at CRAFTY CATZ which has been picked by the lovely Dianne.
So her theme this week is AUTUMN COLOURS
Now you dont have to do an Autumn card/project just use the colours and these must be the colours we are allowing skin colours unless you want to do a Orange or Green Face. lol
We are sponsored this we by the very talented artist
Picture
So what did I do for my inspiration piece.
I used this cute image of a child dressed in his her Halloween costume looks like a lot of sweets there doesnt it. You can purchase the image here. Coloured my image with my Promarkers and used a Spellbinders scallop circle die to cut out and mat on a orange card. I didnt use any backing paper but embossed a piece of cream card with a Fiskers texture plate. I think the plate says feathers but to me it was the vains of the leaves that it reminded me of. I used my Distressed inks to colour the card randomly. The added touches of dylussion in left to dry. I then went over the top with some copper gliding wax. My acorn has gliding flakes on it and is attached with some twine. I didnt add a sentiment as I didnt want to take awy from the image and the embossing.
Well thats my little card i enjoyed messing with my inks and waxes and hope you like the end result.
I do hope that you can find some time to come and play along again this week.
Thanks for popping i will be back shortly with something else I enjoyed getting glued up with.
