Crafty Catz #46 Does Butterflies & Buttons

Well good morning to you all it is Friday so time for another challenge over at Crafty Catz . Wow you sure liked the my theme last week Animals, we had another record up take and we had so much fun and learnt so much from hopping about your blogs.

Well this week it is Suzies turn to set the theme.

For my card I picked a Penny Black looks like I am in the animal /bear mood again. I just love this set and although I am not the best at colouring Bears think i am getting a little better though the stamp is a dream to colour. The image has been coloured with my promarkers and lots of touches of glitter to this card on all the butterflies. The paper is from my stash the lighter paper is Laura Ashley and the darker is from a freebie pad from a mag. Used a few MS punches for the square and the butterflies. The strip of ribbon at the bottom of the card has some lovely pale lemon flowers on. Buttons are recycled from some clothing and some thread tied and glued to them. Flowers are from Hobby Craft. Sentimanet is also a freebie so sorry dont know the name.

Sorry lots of pictures trying to get the angle right for the glitter. Layout is from Papertake Weekly a simple but effective sketch which I am sure iI will use time and time again.

My Sugar Nellie Candy Win Stamp - Card & Tag

Good evening if you are a regular to my blog you will know I was one of the lucky 7 people to win in the 7 day give away stamps at Sugar Nellie Blog. We had to say what we would do with the stamp if we won. Well I said I would make a Christmas card and tag set. Well here it is for you all. Stamp is a Mary Hall one and i have used Dovecraft papers from last year. The sketch is from I play the Sugar Bowl this time. Cuttlebug die for the snowflakes and the star is embossed with a cuttlebug folder. Sentiment is a papermania one. Lots of silver miri board on this and glitter. Well I hope you like and i am sure i will get lots of use from this stamp.

Seasonal Miss Anya

Good evening tonight i have a card I made for the challenge blog Anyone for Anya. I got this set a while back and had put them away but now i have found again dont think they will be going back for a while. The layout is from another challenge which fit this perfectly Sketch & Stash and they not only supplied the sketch but want to know something you have neglected. My lovely stamp. I have coloured with my promarkers and the charm was from the works and is has glitter enamal and the bag is a boss cut die with a tiny brad. The centre strip is from my MS punch and 2 paper candys. Papers are from my stash. Miss anyas flip flops and glasses have glitter gel pen on them but sadly the camera didnt pick it up.

Creative Inspiration #74 Time for a Sketch

Hi it is Wednesday so time for another challenge over at Creative Inspirations. This week our Natalie has given us this fab Sketch don't know about you but think once you have the layout half the job is done well if isn't to involved. This one is a nice and easy one and i will definitely be using again. So get your fave stamp out or check some more challenges you can combine with others so long as we can see the sketch and have fun.

On to my card I have made it into a easel card just love the wow factor of these. Used one of the new Tilda Images and sentiment from a kind friend ( what would we do without our friends) In fact this card is mainly made up of gifts from my friends. I am sure you all know who you are. papers and ribbon i think are stampin up. Flowers are punched and have centre of gems and a large pearl brad in the centre bottom to stand the front open. Used my MS all around the page again. Image coloured with my promarkers.

Crafty Catz Challenge#45

Hi well another week has gone where does the time go. I apologise if i ha vent managed to get round to you all will try harder this week. Well yesterday i went to the papermill and got one of their huge boxes of card for £9 omg i could hardly carry it.

Anyway enough on my waffle this week at Crafty Catz it is my turn to set the challenge so I do hope it is one you will enjoy and join in on . The theme is Animals we would love to see an Animal or 2 or even 3 if you fancy on your work. There has been so many releases with animals i am sure that you will be able to find one with one on.

Now onto my card I have used a Popcorn Image isn't he fab and the little chap in the basket is just too cute for words. I coloured with Promarkers and added 3d gloss to the mug and the wicker on the chair and basket. Some of those yummy ribbons with dots on. Papermania check paper. MS all around the page punch for the bottom. Just love the colours green any shade & blue if you haven't noticed. Flower from my stash and a few papermanina green pearls.

I used 2 of MO's images and my promarkers to colour. Papers are papermania and oddments from mt stash for the flags. Small hearts punched. papermania gems on the front and inside as the dot on the I. Die cut nestie and the bottom diecut is from a friend ( borrowed not to be returned)Papermania Ribbon I have for ever ( old) Some new pins from a local market. Balloons and the little girls hat and sash have been 3d glossed for a shiney look. Also added touches of glitter to the hearts and her sash while the gloss was drying. ( sorry doesn't show too well)

Well I hope you like my card as it will be going to a special friend for her birthday and this is a new technique for me one which i will be trying again.

Morning hope you are all having a good weekend i was going to hang 3 lots of washing out today but it is so far raining just hoping that it drys up.

Tickle pink has a brilliant sketch for us this month. I have used one of their fab stamps and pick some summer colours for this challenge. I coloured with my promarkers and used Laura Ashley Paper. Stars are from my stash. Tag from a friend in a Rac. Ribbon from my stash from last Christmas.

Good Evening hope you have all had a wonderful day and you are ready for a Fab Weekend. Do you think the weather will be kind to us. I have 3 wash loads all ready for morning so I will be up early with washer on. Hate having to use my dryer in the summer.
Well tonight I have a cute little Penny Black stamp that came with another one from my son's girlfriends garage. Sorry cant see the Name clearly so cant give it to you. OH wow I am Happy

Just want to share with you all. I have just found out that I have won at Paper Play and also won top 3 at Simple Doodles. Gosh is this my lucky week.
Had a wonderful day at my friends yesterday with Jules and Tilly. ( thanks girls) Oh tilly brought me yummy apple crumble and Potato Pie and Jules husband made me dinner and was the perfect host. This morning Postie brought me a lovely card with some stunning papers and bits from Janette. ( Naughty girl but she isnt getting them back)

I picked this image just loved the dragonfly and so decided to colour it twice and layer one on top of each other as in the 3rd picture. Coloured with my promarkers added a touch of 3d gloss and some glitter for the wings. I pick bright zingy colours and added yellow ribbon and yellow tiny buttons. A complete change for me to not use any DP on my cards just used my MS puround the page punch.

My card I used one of the new Tildas form the summer kit which Natalie sent me. Thanks Natalie just loved colouring her. I used my MS punche and Minds Eye Papers. Coloured with my promarkers and added 3d gloss of the bubbles. Glittered the tail and added flowers and ribbon from my stash.

Christmas In July

Hi hope you are starting your Christmas Cards or are you like me last year didn't do till November well I ended up in such a state that this year I promised myself to start early.
Well Mo's Digital have a great challenge along with Sketch and Stash which is Christmas in July.




I have used the sketch at Sketch and Stash and the image is from MO's she draws some wonderful images and although I love everyone don't think my bank manager would be too please if i bought them all. I saw this and just had to get. I have coloured with my promarkers and added a touch of glitter to the stocking. Papers are all from Last year and the flower too so i guess this is the neglected part of my card. Green mirri card cause we need on our Christmas cards and green pearls. The deep red card is embossed with lovely flowers but my camera and light didn't pick it up too well sorry.

Lili of the Valley sketch challenge

Hi this is my entery for the Lili of the Valley challenge. They provided this amazing sketch and i used one of my new stamps i got for my birthday. I have made this for a friends husbands birthday this week hope he likes it. I picked the colour green as i did intend on entering it in the passion for promarkers but didnt manage to get it uploaded in time. Sentiments are chipboard. Image is coloured with my promarkers and papers are Basic Grey and Minds eye dots paper which is embossed but unfortunately my picture doesnt show. Used a touch of green mirri card to mat the image and papers and some grograin green ribbon.

Crafty Catz#43 - Material Girl

Good afternoon hope all is well your end and at least the weather is dry here although be it a little dull. When I have finished this I am off to cut the grass with a little help from my son as i am not up to lifting heavy mowers yet but getting there.

Well being Friday means another challenge for from the girls at Crafty Catz and it is Lindseys turn and she has come up with this fab challenge MATERIAL. Yes she would like to see some material on your cards projects. Well at first i though grr don't own a sewing machine so how do i fix it then starting thinking of what i use on a daily basis in my card making that is material. Well yes ribbon, lace and i remembered i had some felt flowers and silk flowers so plenty for you all to get going there but don't stop there have a dig round and see if you can find something around the house maybe re cycle.

Paper Pieced Prince Edward Island

Good evening i paperp pieced this image while sat in bed the other day and only just realised it had to be in for this evening so have quickly made into a card hope i have completed it in time but if not then hope you like it.
The image is Mo's brilliant drawing she reminds me of anne of green gables so coloured her with a reddish hair. Papers are mixture mostly minds eye from my stash. Flowers from a local garden centre. Sketch is Friday sketcher.

Creative Inspiration#71 does Animals

Hello it is me and Wednesday here again so it is time for another challenge at Creative Inspirations, but before that I would like to say sorry for being a bad blogger and not coming to visit. I have had a bit of a relapse in my colitis so have been busy running backwards and forwards and have spent alot of time in bed. But enough of that i think i managed to get my DT duties last night fairly up to date.

This week at Creative Inspirations we have a fab challenge for you we would like to see cards or projects with Animals on so get all those cute stamps or pictures out if you crop. Now onto my card I have used a Penny Black and made my 1st Christmas card. Papers and embellishments are all from my stash left over from last year. I have so much Christmas papers that I am sure there is enough for this year too but I bet I buy more.I used gold holographic miri board to mount it onto and gold satin for the top corner.
