Crafty Catz challenge - Dies & Punches & Time for a GDT CALL

Good morning from a sunny North West England although the wind is a little chilly but great washing weather.
Ok so it is Friday and time for another challenge at CRAFTY CATZ
Hey fancy joining us for 3 months as a GDT we dont bite as our previous GDT will tell you. We must be doing something right as we have had a few stay on with us. If you fancy trying out join in with the challenge and add GDT after your name and we will know your interested.
Ok back to the challenge and this week we would like to see Dies and Punches used on your creation. This could be for any occassion use add some of these elements.

I have used Birthday Cake for my card and gone all Pink
I have used a Tonic Punch for the boarder xcut die heart x cut oval die for the image and Simon Says music notes die. The little butterflies are from the waste from the boarder.

Challenge #18 Julia Spiri Stamps - Unusual Hair Colour

Good morning my 2nd post today so what do i have for you this time.
Today we see a new challenge over at Julia Spiri Stamps and as always we make it very easy for you to play along as our theme is always
ANYTHING GOES
 and we have a  optional twist if you fancy playing along with it
Unusual Hair colours
and you dont have to use one of our images but we would love you to and why wouldnt you.
The design team always do the twist and if you would like to use our theme then we would love to see it.

Now back to our challenge that runs for 2 weeks starting today
Today I have used this cutie called The girl baby Elf available HERE and as you can see I have gone with the colour Green for the forest as you know you have to look carefully to see them.

I have coloured my image with my promarkers.
DP is a Laura ashley sheet from way back.
Die cuts are Joy and memory box
Lace and pearl embellishments.
I got my glitter out for this one and hopefully you can see some of it on the  diecuts. Ialso used some Embossing powder with touches on the leaves and also white in her hair which has a slight sparkle.
I really enjoyed making this card as i dont often use different colours for hair.
I do hope you like it.

Craft Challenge Birthday Hop

Good morning hope you have a drink as i have a long post for you today but I am sure you will agree that it is well worth the read as it is that time of year when we celebrate At Craft with a Birthday Hop . So lets get on with it. I have 2 card to share with you today for the hop.

Can you believe it? CRAFT Challenge is already 7 years old. Originally started by Tracy from Just Tracy Crafts and with a DT mostly recruited from Trimcraft forum members (Hence the term CRAFT Challenge, which stood for Crafters Residing Are Friendly Trimmies. Or if you wished alternative meaning of Can't Remember A Flipping Thing) on the 4th of May 2009.

We have now grown to be a large team of Design Team Members from all around the world, supplemented with lots of Guest Designers who join us for a month at a time.

We have always welcomed all kinds of craft, not just paper craft (unless specifically stated so in the challenge at the time) and are happy to have such a large group of faithful followers.

So, how are we going to celebrate this milestone?

Well, how else can we celebrate than to have our yearly Blogaversary Blog Hop?

I have coloured my image with Promarkers and the DP is a old pad from papermania. Some Red Organiza Ribbon and Black gems to embellish. I have kept this CAS  simple layout to show off the image all matted onto Black card stock.

Now onto my 
2nd card and Sponsor Oddball Art -Frazzled Monday Mornings Big Eye Girl ~ Frazzled Fran Needs Her Coffee Image No. 154 available from their shop HERE


This again has been coloured with promarkers and some Graphit pens.
Card base is a A5 and the DP is Dovecraft old pad. (I am on a mission to use my old DP)
Embossed panel with
Satin ribbon and a tag with the sentiment from the image. All matted onto Orange card stock.
