Craft Birthday Hop

This year Craft  Challenge is 11 years old and still going strong.

Our team is a group of dedicated, talented, lovely people lead by the only team member who has been present from the start, Jo.

If you feel at any time that you would like to join our fabulous team, then just have a look on our DT Call page, which will inform you of any openings on the team. Or, simply get in touch with us and let us know.

And now it's time for our birthday celebrations. This week our challenge is

Birthday!

(what else could it be?)

Anything that fits in with this subject, qualifies for entering into this challenge.

There is a maximum of 1 entry per person for this challenge and as always it needs to be new work (so created and posted after this challenge has started). Although we love to see your work, it would put those contestants that put more than 1 entry in at an unfair advantage. The same limit exists for the prizes to be won on the blogs of our DT members.

Please also make sure to turn word verification off as this makes leaving a comment on your lovely creations much easier. We do not leave a comment if you have word verification switched on.

The rules this year are very simple:

     1.     Make a project for this challenge and add it to the Craft  Challenge Blog  and your entry will be put in the random draw for the prize from Love To Scrap 2 .

   2.     Visit the blogs of our DT and enter into their Linky or their comments if no Linky is in place to be put in the random draw for the prize on their blog.

    3.     The Top3 will be chosen as every week and each of the Top 3 will win a prize this week too.

Can you believe it? CRAFT Challenge is already 9 years old. Originally started by Tracy from Just Tracy Crafts and with a DT mostly recruited from Trimcraft forum members (Hence the term CRAFT Challenge, which stood for Crafters Residing Are Friendly Trimmies. Or if you wished alternative meaning of Can't Remember A Flipping Thing) on the 4^th of May 2009.

We have now grown to be a large team of Design Team Members from all around the world, supplemented with several Guest Designers who join us for a month or a week at a time.

We have always welcomed all kinds of craft, not just paper craft (unless specifically stated so in the challenge at the time) and are happy to have such a large group of faithful followers.

So, how are we going to celebrate this milestone?

Well, how else can we celebrate than to have our yearly Blogaversary Blog Hop?

 The backing is Vellum and I have used my promarkers and pencils to colour this beauty. Embellishments are just ribbon and pearls from my stash, Pearlised card for matting

I have coloured my image with Promarkers and the DP is a old pad from papermania. Some Red Organiza Ribbon and Black gems to embellish. I have kept this CAS  simple layout to show off the image all matted onto Black card stock.

Now onto my 

2nd card and Sponsor Oddball Art -Frazzled Monday Mornings Big Eye Girl ~ Frazzled Fran Needs Her Coffee Image No. 154 available from their shop HERE

This again has been coloured with promarkers and some Graphit pens.

Card base is a A5 and the DP is Dovecraft old pad. (I am on a mission to use my old DP)

Embossed panel with
