Little Favour Please

Hi folks this cold wet evening think PJ's and cosy night in is best thing here. Well you may ask what the favour is I am getting to it. For my card I went with the contemporary colours and used red pink and white. I made this for a friend for a neighbour baby's 1st Christmas but as she is only small thought this would be perfect. Image is from Mo's coloured with Promarkers and although it is of a little boy think I got away with it. Papers from Stash and foam snowflakes glittered. Ribbon is from Jules. I have decorated the inside to match.

Made this a last week for a dear friend who lost her Nan. Not a card I enjoy making but really think that this download is stunning. Added a little glitter some black velevet ribbon a silver heart brad and kept it monochrome.

Good morning or is it afternoon anyway hope you all slept well and are ready for the weekend. Today is Friday and other challenge at Crafty Catz and this week it is Trish's turn and she like me needs to get some more Christmas cards made so has picked SNOWMEN. I have been going through my cards ready to send and cant believe how many snowmen cards I have done so here is another to join them.

Decided that this snowman although cold is filled with warmth with love he is showing the little bird so picked warm colours with lots of gold and the traditional colours of green and red to highlight it. The image is from Whiff of joy coloured with promarkers/ Lots of gold glitter. DP is from stash omg my papers are in such a mess cant tell who they are. Snowflake card is from my friend tilly well think she is she gives me things. Die cut corner. Gold die cut flower from qvc must be 5 years old found in box. green pearls. Onto my card I have used some old papers I have had years. My image is from Kenny K store and is great for the boys there are more christmas images like this that the others on the team have used so pop on over to the blog or get on over to the store and grab them. Image croped and mounted on black nestie and added a touch of saucy black lace to match. Red Gems fome stash and sequin ribbon. Nestability gold die cut flower. I have left the sentiment to nearer the time as I am not sure which gentleman will be receiving this. Image coloured with my trustie Promarkers and a touch of glitter.

Now onto my card for your inspiration we where given some images to play with. I used 3 of the images and made a long card kept fairly simple. Coloured images with Promarkers and matted on Mirri card. Paper is from a Papermania Pad which is a few years old this pad seems to go on forever so expect to see some more. Ribbon from stash and some papermania gems for the corners. Glitter and a Funky Foam Happy Holidays from a friend.

Well thats my simple card and it was a nice change from doing a Square card. Oh while you are reading this can you help I was looking for some paper to wrap round my candles while I heat the image. Last year I am sure I used Greaseproof paper but it was white but this year all the greaseproof paper is a brownish colour and am wondering if this is correct. Any idea's I would love to hear them. Son's Birthday Card

I meant to post this yesterday but as this week is flying and I don't seem to have enough hours in the day it is a little late but at least he got it for his birthday.

The image is a Digi StampBoutique called chap snoozing. lol. This is so my son half the time. papers are from stash and used my nesties to mount the image on. Coloured with my promarkers and added some gems for a little sparkle. In the corners of the nestie I used liquid pearls. Added some papermania ribbon and a Happy Birthday sentiment. Kept it simple as cant see a 29 year old wanting lots of fuss.

Well hope you like he said he did but thought I was being a bit cheeky with the image. lol.
