Just for Janette

Good afternoon yes me again are you feed up with my blog yet. I hope not. I have just realised that I hadnt blogged my friends card/ calender which I made for her birthday in February. I had sent her a gift for her birthday early so wanted to make something a little different as it was kind of present come card. So I found some calenders which I hadnt got round to making up and decided I would make her one. Now Janette likes to play with paper and make thing so I decided I would not colour a image but try something out of my comfort zone. I added her age can you find i kind tried to blend it in but you have to make it dont you.

DP is K & CO lots of gold mirri card, Bronze Gilding Wax and distressed inks, Create a Card Steam Punk card base. Brads and gold peel off numbers

Time for A Colour Combo at CRAFTY CATZ

Good Morning and Happy 1st May. Wow a new month where is this year going I ask myself. I guess it is a sign of getting old.

Well before I grow another grey hair let me tell you about this weeks challenge at CRAFTY CATZ.

This week the theme has been picked by Kim who sadly stepped down due to her very busy life. So this week our lovely boss lady Carol is hosting it. We are still doing Kims theme as we loved it soo much. Yes she has come up with a fab colour combo for you all to follow.

I have printed the image onto some Pearlised cream card then coloured with promarkers and added some glitter to the centres. The sentiment is from a freebie from TLC.(thanks Pauline)

Pearls and the diecut butterfly is from Tonic. The frame is a Quickutz frame die set. Some gold glitter on the edge of the card.

Something a little different for me as i dont make many cards just featuring flowers so comments will be welcome. I do hope that you will come and play along as i think this colour combo is such a lovely bright and fun one.

A little Something for MUM

Good morning i thought I would share with you something I made for my Step Mum for Mothers Day. I recently purchased the Chipboard Words from a Craft Fayre and thought what a wonderful item and very quick to make up. So here it is all flowers and ribbon from my stash. Image has been coloured with my promarkers. Used spring colours and papers from Bo Bunny Ad Lib Collection. The chip board large leaf is a K & Co from a set I got with a Magazine many moons ago. Small flowers made with a puunch and a gem added to the centre. Spiders web lace and ribbon and doily from stash and lastly 2 diecut Acorn Swirl Rococo Tonic dies

So let me share with you my card it is a CHRISTMAS card I am trying to fill my box ready for that big occasion.

This is a large card 7x7inch and as you can see i have used one of our sponsors digi stamps. I am thinking the little bird is either telling her Santa is on the way or what he would like for Christmas. I also think that this would make a nice December Birthday card without the sentiment.

Day 3 of New Release at Crafty Sentiments

Good morning well have you been enjoying the new release over at Crafty Sentiments inspirational Blog.

Today i am bring you my last stamp which is called Isobel Sea Shell which you will be able to purchase from the shop along with the other 5 stamps.

Well she sure looks fab as a little mermaid. i have coloured her again with my promarkers and made the background paper with Dylusion inks. cut with my nesties and placed onto a Doily.  The card has a shaped frony which i hope you can see from the side view below. The flower ferns and letters have all been made with paper clay. The diecuts are all tonic. Added some pearls and string of bronze pearls, lastly some cheesecloth. i hope you like and please checkout the rest of the samples over on the Inspirational blog. The team have all worked hard on these.

So onto my project and i have made a Bookmark for my nephew using Smart Owl from Robyn's fetish digital stamps

My hand made embellishments are the flowers and also the tails for the marker. The flowers have been made with paper Clay. Image has been coloured with promarkers, Sentiment computer generated, Button and twine from stash. The diecut leaf is a Sue Wilson and the DP is Basic Grey Boxer. nestie circle scallop and Xcut circle. Cuttle bug dots embossing folder on the orange card.

I am hoping that he wont mind the flowers.

Oh looks like he has been in the Wars with his bandaid on his cheek but he is still smiling. 

I have used a Tonic die for the large diecut circle with leaves . The Dp's are all Basic Grey Boxer a very old pad wish I had got more such lovely quality. Just some Ribbon and pearls to embellish. the sentiment is also a Crafty Sentiment stamp which you can get from the shop. Of course he is coloured with my Promarkers.

DAY 1 Sneak Peep of New Release - Crafty Sentiments

Oh she is a cutie with her little friends. I wonder if they are watching TV or a Movie

Image has been coloured with promarkers, I have paper pieced the chair with some Spotty paper and also framed the image with the same paper. All papers are from old pads and I have kept the theme of spots on each of them. I have made some little roses and added a few stick pins. Some ribbon and some sparkle brads on the daisies. A little tags with a sentiment Friends to finish off.
