Polkadoodles GDT - Embossing & Special GivawayCandy

Good morning I am here today with my 2nd post as GDT for  Polkadoodles Challenge Blog. 

I am so loving the images that Nikky has in her store.

Well a new challenge starts today at Polkadoodles Challenge Blog and will run for 2 weeks so lots of time to come and join us. The challenge this time is

EMBOSSING

yes that could be dry with a folder or stencil or wet with heat and powder

So before you head on over to checkout what amazing things the team has done with there projects.

here is mine.

The image I have used is from The Eden collection which you can either buy as a whole collection or as a single digital image. You can find all this and more in the store here.
I have used my promarkers to colour my image. My embossing is a cuttlebug folder called birds and swirls for the backing and I have also stamped and embossed the flowers then cut and coloured the back with my pens. These are parchment with pearl centres. The images has been cut  with a spellbinders die. Lace from stash and some lovely bling swirls.
Well I hope this has inspired you to have ago at some embossing and please share with us on the blog we would love to see. There is lots more samples for inspiration on the blog and dont forget Nikky kindly gives lots of discount codes out so keep your eyes peeled on the blog and also in the shop.

Technique Challenge: Embossing at CRAFT

Good morning are you enjoying the sunshine. Well it plays havoc with my crafting time so apologizes for getting round as much. My computer must be in the hottest part of the house and it just wasnt having it yesterday at all.

Well today sees another new challenge at CRAFT we had some stunning creations last week so hope you can join us again this week.

This week we would like to see some 

EMBOSSING

now this could be wet or dry. I was greedy and did both.

I have used a image from All Dressed Up called Love to shop.

I have coloured my image with Promarkers and embossed the background with Dots & Spots embossing folder which has been shaded with Distressed ink. Pink Mirri card to mat which has been periced round the image layers. Leaves are a docraft punch. The flowers are parchment which has been inked and powder embossed cut and then coloured on the back with Promarkers. Pearl centres and some seam binding. The srip that sits behind the image has been embossed with a coutre folder and has some lace too.

Good morning i am here today to share with you my DT card for CRAFT. This weeks challenge is Inspired by a Book.

This has been made for my Sister in law it was her birthday yesterday.

The book is Death on the Nile

Image is coloured with promarkers , Spectrum Noirs and mica pen for the gold.

Simple lay out with just matting with card and Mirri card. Black satin ribbon and some fab silver gold and black ribbon. Pins made by myself to finish. The sentiment also came with the image.
