Crafty Card Returns - NEW Challenge

Good morning have you all missed our challenges at Crafty Catz well we are back after our Summer break well if you can call it Summer.

So what have we for you to play along with.

So the challenge is NEW BEGINNINGS

so this could be Back to school (new year, school), New Baby, New Job or in my case I have made a New Home card.

I have made a DL card for a change. The image and the Sentiment are all from our sponsor. Image has been coloured with my promarkers and the background has been inked. Good evening have you seen that CRAFT has a new challenge starting today and it is

I have kept it simple just colouring my image with my promarkers. Lots of glitter which hasnt shown up on the picture. The Frame is a Cheerylyn  cut in Silver Mirri card. Some Pink Spiders web and a snowflake brad. Few Gems for sparkle. The Dp is from a very very old pad either papermania or dovecraft. I just love this image and the unicorn is just so magical just like Christmas to a small child.

Punches and Dies at Digi Choosday

 Good morning wow these weeks are going fast. It will soon be time for the children to go back to school and we haven't seen much sunshine.

Well this week we have another fab challenge for you over at Digi Chooseday. You still have another week to join in with our Embellish challenge. But we have another that runs for another 2 weeks along side it.

 This week our theme is  PUNCHES & DIECUTS

For my Punches and Diecuts Card I am using Work & Play 5 - Festive Hollibobs which you can find in the shop HERE as a download.

 Oh wow so much lovely Christmas images coloured and Digi with tons of embellishments and papers. I have used this cute little Elf and North Pole sign coloured them with my Promarkers

My punches are M.S round the page punch which I used on the Green backing card and my Dies are the Trees Marrianne Creatable and Santa and Raindeer are very old Quickutz which I have had since year dot. The Backing Paper is also from the collection along with the sentiments.

Ribbon and Fluffy stuff for the snow and glitter are all from stash.

Get Well Little Umbrella Bear - Craft DT

Good morning well the weather isnt getting much better here in the North West of Uk. So I think my image might be perfect for the weather.

Today i am bringing you my DT card for CRAFT and we have a Recipe for you.

I have made a Get Well card as my Cousin has been taken into hospital to have her appendix removed so is a little under the weather just as my little bear is.

The image is  a Bugaboo image called Umbrella Teddy 

I have coloured the image with my promarkers 

2 shapes are Rectangles and Gold mirri card Scallop Oval

3 papers are all from my scrap pile

4 tear drop shapes 3 in corner and 1 as a rain drop

Finished off with a ribbon and sentiment stamp

Well hope you like I have made in bright colours hopefully to cheer her up and fingers crossed she will be home in a few days.

I told you she was a wonderful. Coloured with promarkers. 

Cuttlebug embossing folder. Stitched edge without cotton. Parchment Snowflake boarder from Joy Creations with added glitter and clear gems. Lace from friend and marianne flower diecut with white satin bow.

Polkadoodles Challenge- MORE THAN ONE FOLD

Good morning well i am here today with my Polkadoodles DT card for you.

We have a fab fun challenge for this fortnight which is

MORE THAN ONE FOLD

You can make anything you like as long as it follows the theme and you dont have to use one of our images although we would love you to.

So what have I made.

A Graduation card

 For my card I have made a Standing Springy card this has 5 folds and is made from an A4 sheet of card. I have used the awesome Twiggy & Toots Cd which you can purchase as a CD or Download. It is also available in parts. I have used a digi coloured with promarkers. All the papers and elements are from the same CD. 

I coloured the image and fussy cut him out along with all the elements. Matted the paper onto the base card. Added Frame19 cut out and placed my image. The sentiment is Sentiment 13 with elements of the leaves placed onto it and fussy cut. I cut another set of leaves to place on the top of the frame. Fussy cut the sentiment Wisdom. Made a cetificate roll and a Tassel. Added some twine and jobs done

If you fancy having ago with this templete here is a rough drawn templete which I used. One tip dont use very thick card as with all the folds it doesnt like to close.

The measurements are in inches. click on the picture and it will enlarge for measurements
