Yeepee it is weekend although i have lots to do. I am running a little late with this post thought i had scheduled but found not even written. Omg the grey cells. So quickly on.

Yesterday saw the start of another fab challenge at CRAFTY CATZ and this weeks challenge is

So onto my card

I have used this little Farmer from Polkadoodles Work & Play 10 available HERE

He is colored with my new Lyra Rembandt Polycolor pencils. The papers are also from the CD.

Added some ribbon from stash and a button with some twine. The trees have been cut out of some dark Kraft card with a new die.

Polkadoodles challenge Favorite Card Shape

Good morning and Happy Friday 2 posts from me today a busy one. So on with the first that being a new challenge at Polkadoodles. So what do with have for you this fortnight.

YOUR FAVORITE CARD SHAPE

Now I dont do many card shapes tend to stick with the usual Square but I do have a few card shapes I like to do for special cards. So I am sharing one of those.

A Stepper Card

 I just love these but do struggle with the measurements . 
My card features the fabulous CD - Octavia Frosted Winter. 
Oh the detail on this CD the papers and embellishments and images are just awesome. You can find the cd/download in the shop HERE. I have coloured this with my Promarker Pens and used lots of embellishments and sentiment from the CD. A dies used are a Xcut doily and Memory Box fence. Adding some glitter and nice big mesh bow to finish.
Now i do wonder what is your favorite shape card cant wait to see.

Inspirational Picture Challenge - Craft challenge Blog

Well the sun has just appeared after a wet start so guess things are looking up. Talking of wet start this weeks challenge at Craft is a Inspirational Picture challenge and it is this fabulous waterfall.

So I was luck enough to be allowed to play with an image from Sweet Pea Stamps and I picked this fab image from The east wind called  Lucy Loo Mermaid available here

I have coloured this with a mixture of Promarkers and Lyra Rembrandt Pencils. 

Added Gold Graphit Shake Pen to the bubbles. Lots of Mirri card, sequin waste and Cheesecloth. Paper clay leaf and some twine. Ribbon from stash.

I also embossed the teal card with a fiskers wave plate but not sure if you can see.

Well i took the theme of water from the picture and cant wait to see what you took from the picture. checkout the team there is some fab makes and some styles you might not have thought of.

So let me introduce you to the newest member of Strictly Come Dancing

Miss Toots from Polkadoodles

 Well for my card this week I decided that as Strictly Come Dancing is starting on Friday. Toots should enter. So I have used Dancing Queen from the original Twigg & Toots available as a digi image here or you can buy the full download/ cd I have coloured my image with my Lyra Rembandt Polycolor Pencils. I have also used one of the many fab papers from the CD too. The sentiment is from another CD Serenity Fairy Wishes. Ribbon, lace, gems glitter and Vinyl sticker finish my card.

Well thats my card for your inspiration do you think she will make it past the first week.

Good morning a little late posting as I was watching Nikky from Polkadoodles doing her pencil show. Great show and I can say they are brilliant pencils. I have this set.

Numbers embossing folder, Joanna Sheen Banner die and My favorites Number die. Silver mirri card for bling and Blue mirri card to mat the image.

Shabby Chic at Polkadoodles- When is a toilet roll not a toilet roll

Happy Friday morning are you ready for the show with Nikky from Polkadoodles at Create and Craft she is on with the fab Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor Pencils. I have my seat reseved  hoping to get some tips and I believe they will be having a fab set on if you are starting out.
Anyway lets get back to the Shabby Chic and it is Team A's turn at Polkadoodles turn to share their inspiration on the challenge blog today.
The theme is Shabby Chic dont run for the hills you will get lost

Be warned I have a few pictures to share so grab a cuppa and a biscuit.

Well for my Shabby Chic Project which I had to look up the definition for. I have done a little mini album/Tag book.

 I idea is that you write on the tags or add little pictures if you want. I havent used a image but used papers and elements for each of the pages from 2 cds- Rose Budd collection  available here and one of my favorites Twiggy & Toots available Here.

I have added Lace and Ribbons and gems from my stash. 

The Pages Bases have actually been made from Toilet Rolls. I ran these through my big shot to crease and then covered with papers. Cut some tags to slide in.
