It's Olympic Time at CRAFTY CATZ

Good Friday morning raining again here so onto another challenge to keep our mind off the weather. Image is coloured with promarkers, fiskers embossing plate for the cream backing card, satin ribbon from Mia flower, rings coloured in the colours with promarkers, london 2012 computer generated. Spot DP is papermania 3 gems in the GB colours and card in GB Colours to layer.

Mayzy Art does Creative Inspirations Sketch Challenge

Good morning it is hump day so half way to the weekend. Wednesday brings another challenge at CREATIVE INSPIRATIONS and we have a new sponsor for you this week. Today should have been sponsored by Handy Hippo but sadly they where unable to sponsor us for the time being. This left the challenge at very late notice with no sponsor. So with a quick email to such a lovely and generous lady MAYZY GREEN who stepped in to generously offer not just  3 images to our winner but also images for the team.

This weeks challenge is a sketch oh I love Natalie's sketches. You can flip it, resize, but all elements must be on show and we can see the sketch to qualify.

 

Ok now which image did I pick from Mayzy's fab catalogue. This image is called Natsuko and comes from her round the world theme. Oh how I would love to see these in real life and can only dream of it. There gardens are just stunning and I can just imagine her walking to the garden.

I have coloured with my promarkers and used my Cherry Lynn flourish die, my M.S. round the edge punch 2 ribbons from local shop. small flowers from stash. The Dp has glitter on the flowers I am not sure if I managed to catch it on the picture along with the shimmer on the parasol from my glitter jelly roll pen. the paper is from First Edition called Love Letters. I used Distressed inks for the floor.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOps it is CASE TIME Again

Good morning is it still morning I am running so late feel like the rabbit in Alice in Wonderland. What is it they say more hast less speed. Well as this should have been on my blog yesterday as the Challenge for Creative Inspirations starts on Wednesday please for give me. Well it is that time of the month when we case a member of our team and this time it is the lovely Talented Chris. So pop on over and checkout her card if you haven't already seen it.

Now quickly on to my card which i have used another Mayzy Art image I am loving these images and she is such a lovely lady. I have used Chris' layout and tried to keep to the elements too but just changed the image and colours and sentiment. The image is called Merri and think this was me when i was a child not a girlie girl and didnt do pink always out climbing and playing with lads toys and the boys. i coloured it with my promarkers and used some old papers from my stash. Memory Box die a little ribbon and from gems.

It's a Male Thing at CREATIVE INSPIRATIONS

Good morning well it is back to normal again all the celebrations are over with and just the children on school holidays. Hope you had a good weekend and the weather didn't dampen your spirits. Chris managed to get the 2 days off after all so was nice for him think it has been the 1st time he has had a Bank Holiday off in ages.

Today being Wednesday means we have another challenge for you at CREATIVE INSPIRATIONS with another Male theme hope you are not getting sick of my male cards because I have a few more before the week is out.

Easter at Creative Inspirations

Good morning halfway through the week and hopefully it is a short one for you with the Easter Holidays. My Son is working good Friday and Easter Monday Grrrrrrr Trafford Centre what did we do when they didn't open Sundays and late evening we managed and I bet they took they same money.

Anyway with Easter round the corner Creative Inspirations would like to see Easter cards.

For my card,I have gone all Girlie. I just love this colour combo it is a little more aqua than in the picture. 

The image is from another fab talented artist i recently found on Esty called Mayzyart you can find it here.  Framed the image with a nestie. Used my M.S.rabbit punch on the boarders and painted them with liquid pearls. Few blue gems. Also no girlie card can be without some lovely Pink Ribbon. The pink spotted paper is from a Garden Centre and it had no name on but was just fab quality for the price. Opps nearly forgot the image is coloured with my promarkers and the layout is Sketch n Stash.
