Boys Boys Boys at Crafty Catz

Good evening did my title get you going well do you fancy a challenge that includes Boys/ Men well head over to CRAFTY CATZ as this is our challenge this week. The theme has been picked by the lovely Kim and we are also holding a GDT call for October. So as they say you have to be in it to win it. So if you fancy trying out add GDT after your name. You dont have to have experience we all have to start somewhere but if you are experienced then we welcome you too.

So onto my card I have used a Digi Darla image that I won sometime back and have been itching to use. The card is for my nephews friends birthday and is a West Ham fan.

Kept is CAS with just some birthday backing paper in one of the colours from the team stripe and some spot paper. the image has been coloured with my promarkers and added some string and a button in the shape of a football. Computer generated sentiment  & the Score is cut from a DP to finish off .

Ok so that the sponsors and prizes so here is what i have made.

I made this for a friend for her birthday it is a diary for next year I know it is early but was just a little extra to go with her present.

I used a image from our sponsor Saturated canary Maxine the the Florist

and here is a close up of the image so you can see the paper piecing gosh there was lots of tiny bits

image was coloured with promarkers, Dp are a mixture of scraps, Ribbon and pearls from stash and sentiment os a stamp that came as a freebie and a paper doily. The diary is from a local stationers. I used a clear film that you back books on the image then added the ribbon and pearls plus sentiment on top to make it a little protected.

Quick Catch Up and Fave colour combo at Creative Inspirations

Hi folks sorry not been around much this week i have had a email from a friend saying I was quiet lol. Well I had my Aunts funeral on Monday which wasnt local had to travel down to Southwards. It was a lovely day and lots of her friend where there so that was nice. I met up with her son who I hadnt seen for about 20 years as he lives in Hong Kong and met his children all grown up and studying. It was nice to see them and we chatted for ages about the times we used to live closer just a shame it was such a sad time. The funeral gave me flash backs to my Grans and Mums funerals. As they all had welsh hymn and music, well they are all reunited now.

Ok so onto My DT card for CREATIVE INSPIRATIONS and this will be my last DT card as I have decided to step down, i was surprised how long i had been there since june 2009.

This is a 8x8 card base and have kept this fairly simple

Image coloured with Promarkers and have added lots of glitter to the dress and veil. Gems  from mei flower. Wide satin ribbon from Crafty Ribbons. The base ribbon is a sheer with matching coloured edging. I have used a Cherry Lynn Boarder die above the ribbon. Embossed panel. Bells diecut is embossed with a matching gem. DP is First Edition or dovecraft sorry it wasnt in the pad.

Good evening hope you are well and had a good day. The weather here has been lovely today and I guess it is getting to nearly the end of summer here in the North West of England. 

Tonight I am here with a card I made to fit 2 of my Dt commitments as I have been busy with thank you cards for a charity fun run for a neighbour. All finished and i will share with you shortly. So onto my card. I have used a stamp from Wee Stamps that I got for my birthday from the lovely elaine.

I have used my M.S. Doily round the corner punch to give the Dp a lace edge. The Dp is papermaina  Failytale. The image has been cut out with a Xcut round die and is backed with a Xcut Doily die. The lace is from a local shop. The ribbon is from my stash and i have used some Viva pearls and all fairies have to have glittered wings. A flower on the ribbon is wild orchid coloured with distress ink raspberry. The sentiment came with the lovely stamp.

Good morning this is my second post for today yes getting to be a habit more than one. Did you checkout the fab stamps at Crafty sentiments that I was lucky to be part of .

Ok now what did I do with this sketch. I used a image from Sassy studios this was an image I got for the progessive challenge on PCP but sadly missed the closing date as I lost loads of images that i had down loaded onto my phone and not transferred. Luckily I found this in my emails so not all lost.

Embossed the card with my DOTS & SPOTS folder to coordinate with backing paper. Card from the papermill.. Happy Birthday is a wooden stamp from whispers many many moons ago. A nice simple clean effect for this one.
