For my card I have used a image from the Sunshine tots called Buttercup & Candy Cane

I have coloured my image with Promarkers 7 a few copic for the skin

Glittered Blue card and Snowflakes from Hobby Craft

added glitter to the stars and orniments hanging

A clear stamped Sentiment finishes off the card

Now it is your turn are you still making Christmas cards the month is quickly disappearing and you know when December hits time will disappear.

I must make a start on looking for a few presents. Not many to get most are older teenagers now so want money or gift vouchers. Something I am not happy with as it seems to take the magic out of Christmas morning

Hello and hope you are all keeping well and being able to keep a little normality in your life.

I do feel sorry for all the students that should be taking important exams this summer. I know they say they will get their grades but I also know that alot use the mocks to know where they have to pick up their studies. If they use these mocks this will rob these students that excel with late revision and pick up what they need . I do hope that they will get the grades they need for University and College.

Well enough of the troubles if you wants some fun come and join us at Crafty Catz this week. Maybe get the children joining in.

Good morning and welcome.

Firstly i would like to congratulate Chris and Christine on the safe arrival of their new memebers to the family.  2 beautiful girls so pop over and congratulate the Grandma and Great grandma

Now back to this weeks challenge

As always our challenge is

I have used a image I previously won but cant seem to find in the store so I have asked heather for a link. lets hope she adds as I am sure like me you will love it.

The image has come from the Strayz Collection.

I am on another mission to make some flat Christmas cards as i am sure the post office will put the cost up again before the day. Also helps sending across the water.

I coloured the image with promarkers and pencils

I cut the shape out of the DP which is from a old pad i with no front sorry

Matted onto the Mirricard which allowed it to form a frame

Cut the image out with the same die and trimmed the edge to allow a slight gap to show the mirri

Added a border of trees with a silver satin Merry Christmas and happy new Year sentiment on.

Stamped Winter wishes onto the DP and a few cuttlebug snowflakes.

I added some fluffy stuff to the hat and the trees have been glittered but doesnt show up

Do in this method the card base stays in much stronger with a strip adding extra strength at the base for standing. i do hate it when the slide open with the heat at Christmas dont you.
