Summertime at Craft

good evening well we had a lovely day here in Manchester the sun has been shining and i went out for tea with my 2 nephews nothing special just subway which they love and wanted and then off they went to the school disco. Think they have a better social life than me and they are only 6 and 10.

Good Morning are you enjoying your weekend. Weather has been fairly nice here just hung out some washing and a black cloud appeared GRRRRRRRRRRRRR. Today I am posting this alittle because I have so much to do before I sit and switch off the world and watch Tennis. Ok is Andy going to do it. Today will be a good one. If Andy win great for Britain long time coming Oh I do Love Rodger so who will I end up shouting for. Tee Hee.

Well back to the challenge at Dream Valley this time we would love to see creations that are not square. Oh I screamed when I saw this my normal cards are all 6x6 square used to be A5 but struggle now. So thinking caps on and decided a bookmark was due a outing.

Well it is Friday wow that week went so quickly and we are into July wonder if we are going to get any summer this year in good old england. I usually run for the hills colouring birds as I really dont have a clue about colours. I colloured with with my promarkers and mounted it on one of my spellbinder dies. Also cut a cherry lynn flourish. papwes are from Laura Ashley . Ribbon is from a candy win from the ribbon girls. Gems and a epoxy sentiment to finish.

Mayzy Art does Creative Inspirations Sketch Challenge

Good morning it is hump day so half way to the weekend. Wednesday brings another challenge at CREATIVE INSPIRATIONS and we have a new sponsor for you this week. Today should have been sponsored by Handy Hippo but sadly they where unable to sponsor us for the time being. This left the challenge at very late notice with no sponsor. Ok now which image did I pick from Mayzy's fab catalogue. This image is called Natsuko and comes from her round the world theme. Oh how I would love to see these in real life and can only dream of it. There gardens are just stunning and I can just imagine her walking to the garden.

I have coloured with my promarkers and used my Cherry Lynn flourish die, my M.S. round the edge punch 2 ribbons from local shop. small flowers from stash. The Dp has glitter on the flowers I am not sure if I managed to catch it on the picture along with the shimmer on the parasol from my glitter jelly roll pen. the paper is from First Edition called Love Letters. I used Distressed inks for the floor.

Crafty Catz goes METAL

Good morning well we have very black clouds so guess we are in for a thunder storm again. Dog is perched on the chair looking out of the window wondering if he is getting a walk. Are you ready for another challenge well it is my turn to pick the theme at CRAFTY CATZ and thought I would go METAL.

Now this could be anything from pins, brads, buttons any embellishment or maybe you could think of something made with metal to decorate. Well it is up to you and we are waiting to take a gander.  Now onto my card for your inspiration. I have used a Mo's image and my embellishments are metal.

The image is coloured with promarkers and the ground and sky is done with my distressed inks. Embellishments from stash, wild orchid flower, meiflower ribbon & gems, lace from stash, Dp is first edition and papermanina. Used my fiskers sissors to cut the image and mount out.

Craft Challenge - Feathers/ Birds

Hi me again told you I would be back well this being Thursday means a new challenge at CRAFT and this week we would love to see Feathers or Birds on your projects. Now onto my card for inspiration I must say this was a challenge for me as I tend not to do feathers or birds but found this image on my computer sorry dont know where it is from it is that old.

Used some Seam Binding from abaikan few gems, pearls and my cherry Lynn die oh this cuts so well much better than my memory box have to run those through several times and they are not that intricate ones. Kept it simple and left open thought this could be used for few occassions or just a note card. Dp has a flower and leaves to echo the theme of the watering can and the die cut.

Good morning hope you are all well the heavens have just opened here so more rain. I am still trying to catch up on my jobs so will make this quick. Sketchie Time with Papertake Weekly

Good evening this is my last post as Guest DT at Papertake Weekly gosh that month has gone so quick and I must say they have been brilliant challenge. So thanks girls and Dawn for having me I have loved it.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOps it is CASE TIME Again

Good morning is it still morning I am running so late feel like the rabbit in Alice in Wonderland. What is it they say more hast less speed. Well as this should have been on my blog yesterday as the Challenge for Creative Inspirations starts on Wednesday please for give me.
