Good morning well it is dry here but just we seem to be having spring instead of Summer think we are about 6 weeks behind. Hey Ho maybe the children will get the good weather for the school holidays in 6 weeks time. We can hope.

I have used my promarkers to colour this image.

IT'S CHRISTMAS - Well at Craft Challenge

GDT Crafty Boots Challenge Blog - Queens, Princesses and Crowns

Good morning well it is a honor to be posting as GDT for Crafty Boots Challenge today.

this is the perfect challenge as our own Queen celebrates her 90th Birthday

So interpret is you wish and they welcome all sorts of makes

cards, mixed media, atcs, inches, scrap booking

So now let me share with you my make

For my card I have used a fabulous image from Mo Manning called Saved Herself

She has her horse as all princesses do and her Crown. there is a sentiment that say....
and then Princess Saved herself. The End
Which i think I will add in the inside of my card

I have coloured my image with my promarkers.

My DP has Crowns on to go with the theme and was sent to me in a RaK from a friend. the blue DP is K & Co. all edges have been distressed for a slight vintage feel.

I have make a heart with Paper Clay and added flower, Seem binding ribbon. pearls, Lace paper Doily and embroidered ribbon. The die cut is a Memory Box. I have heat embossed round the image with Enchanting Gold powder which has a lovely sparkle.

The sentiment is from a Anna griffin set.

Crafty Catz challenge - Dies & Punches & Time for a GDT CALL

Good morning from a sunny North West England although the wind is a little chilly but great washing weather.

Ok so it is Friday and time for another challenge at CRAFTY CATZ

Good morning my 2nd post today so what do i have for you this time.

Today we see a new challenge over at Julia Spiri Stamps and as always we make it very easy for you to play along as our theme is always

Today I have used this cutie called The girl baby Elf available HERE and as you can see I have gone with the colour Green for the forest as you know you have to look carefully to see them.

I have coloured my image with my promarkers.

DP is a Laura ashley sheet from way back.

Die cuts are Joy and memory box

Lace and pearl embellishments.

I got my glitter out for this one and hopefully you can see some of it on the  diecuts. Ialso used some Embossing powder with touches on the leaves and also white in her hair which has a slight sparkle.

I really enjoyed making this card as i dont often use different colours for hair.

Can you believe it? CRAFT Challenge is already 7 years old. Originally started by Tracy from Just Tracy Crafts and with a DT mostly recruited from Trimcraft forum members (Hence the term CRAFT Challenge, which stood for Crafters Residing Are Friendly Trimmies. Or if you wished alternative meaning of Can't Remember A Flipping Thing) on the 4^th of May 2009.

We have now grown to be a large team of Design Team Members from all around the world, supplemented with lots of Guest Designers who join us for a month at a time.

We have always welcomed all kinds of craft, not just paper craft (unless specifically stated so in the challenge at the time) and are happy to have such a large group of faithful followers.

So, how are we going to celebrate this milestone?

Well, how else can we celebrate than to have our yearly Blogaversary Blog Hop?

I have coloured my image with Promarkers and the DP is a old pad from papermania. Some Red Organiza Ribbon and Black gems to embellish. I have kept this CAS  simple layout to show off the image all matted onto Black card stock.
