Let's Pick Strawberries - Crafty Sentiments Sneek Peep Day 3

We are All Stitched Up at Crafty Catz

Good evening have you had a good day the sun has been shining here and it has been really hot. I have been without internet for a few days and have used my months phone internet in just 2 days. So I will get on with this weeks DT post for Crafty Catz.

So I got my little sewing machine out and set to do a little sewing around the edges of the matting layers.

I always struggle with Black Hair but am fairly happy with how it worked out although there is plenty of room for improvement.

Cooking Up A CRAFT Recipe

So onto my card and as i enjoyed playing with some Christmas thngs I decided to stay on that theme and used a image from Mo's Digital Stamps

and a close up of the image coloured with my promarkers in traditional colours

The DP is from papermanina Home Collection and the flowers are a Spellbinder die the little leaves are a marrianne die. Pearls from stash, Ribbon from Mei Flowers Crafts

Well that is another for my box I am getting a few to kick start my Christmas off but no doubt i will be rushing round last minute.

Tie it up at Creative Inspiratios

Good morning wow June is rushing by and i am here with my 3rd card as GDT at Creative Inspirations. 

This week we have a theme of TIE IT UP.....

 so we need to see a BOW on your creations. 

Yes a nice easy one, this doesn't have to be a girlie creation as you could use string for a Male card. Lots of scope with this challenge cant wait to see what you come up with.

This weeks challenge is The Paper Shelter who kindly gave the DT some fab images to play with.

I have used this lovely image called ROSE INK and coloured her with my Promarkers

I have used downloaded DP from Scrible Scrap which I won a few weeks ago. Ribbon, lace, pearls are all from stash I have used one of my Spellbinder dies for the image and frame. I have used distressed inks to colour the frame and also the edges of the papers. The flower was made by me with candy dots and tinted with ink. A lovely metal butterfly to finish off. 

Well hope you like this and just a note to say that there is also a new challenge at Divas by Design starting today with the theme of 3 or more layers. Maybe you could combine both challenges.

Happy Sunday have you had a busy Day I have been visiting my Dad and sat and had a nice long chat then got to see my new Great Niece only born a few hours after my birthday. Such a tiny wee thing and so good for her mum.

So onto my card I have used this fab digital stamp from our sponsor BUGABOO 'Winter Bird Trio'

I have kept it CAS just colouring the image with my promarkers and matting it with some red card. The sentiment has been matted and a few gems added for a touch of sparkle to go with the touch of glitter on the image. A nice quick card but think it is very effective in this style.
