Creative Inspiration challenge # - Kickstand Miss anya

Well hello folks it is Wednesday so it is time for my DT card over at Creative Inspirations. This week we would like you all to make a Kickstand Card. Well if you are like me I hadnt heard of these then it is a card with the bottom of the front missing and the bottom of the image is the bottom of the front of the card. Hopefully the picture of my card will explain it better. Any theme, any colour so free range.
I have decided to use my Miss Anya from the second set just love these stamps. Papers are from my stash from last year. Image has been coloured using promarkers. Fibres from my stash and a few embellishments foam snow flakes and a small pot snowman.

We have had some sad new Cheryl has had to give up her place due to work commitments but we wish her well and hope she will join in our challenges and some good new Tanya our guest DT has kindly agreed to join us. I have decided to enter this in the colour create challenge as their theme colour is Blue and white and i think there is enough blue and white for this to count.

whiff of joy - dragon

This is my entry for the whiff of joy challenge blog#40. Sketch by Donalda.
Used the dragon had this image coloured for a while but hadnt made into a card. Papers from my stash . Gems papermainia. Flower from stash and a pin with a grey pearl heart and some clear beads. Ribbon from stash.

I am also entering this in the Creative inspirations challenge #14 which is bling, be it diamonds, pearls or shine.
My bling is on the aubergine paper there is gold glitter, Pearls and clear beads on my pin and gems in the top right hand corner.

Just Magnolia - Surfs Up

This is my entry for this weeks challenge fab sketch by Tabs over at Just Magnolia.




I have used Edwin from the Summer Stamp kit. Some paper from Papermaina which i must have had the pad for a few years just never comes to the end. Coloured with my promarkers. Beads are from the early leaning centre pinched from kids box. lol Few gems from the papermania range.

Followers have return is yours still missing

Have just uninstalled Internet Explorer and re installed and they have now returned think it may have had something to do with Add ons. If you are having this problem and dont want to change to Mozillia firefox then try this 1st. Worked for me.

I Play the sugar bowl challenge 15 - Ribbons and Bows

Over at I play the Sugar Bowl Gayle has come up with this fab sketch and has added an extra challenge. Ribbons and bows.


I have used one of Leanne Ellis' stamps. Coloured with my promarkers and the papers are from the Laura Ashley Range. Added a touch of lace and a red ribbon with spots on to tie in with her dress.


I am keeping my fingers crossed this week because the prize is amazing the new Magna Stamps.

Truly Scrumptious - Miss Anya

Well this week Heather over at Truly Scrumptious came up with this fab Sketch which at 1st thought would be a real challenge not the easiest but did enjoy it.


Used my Miss Anya they are lovely to colour used my Promarkers and watercolours. Paper is Basic Grey and used plain card from Papermill in raspberry and french navy. Flowers punched with a woodware punch. Extra challenge was to use beads so have used for the corners and the flower centers. Have flipped the sketch for this one

Well been asked for some picture of my Little Great Nephew so Dawn here they are. Pictures of the proud parents Lee and Claire. Lee is my sisters 1st born and my nephew and god son.

After all that destressing and making my Sympathy card had to do something lighter.

Stampavie and more Their theme is Summer. Well you cant have summer without Strawberries



Used the Strawberry from the summer Magnolia Club stamps. Coloured with my promarkers then glossed with anitias 3d gloss to make it look juicey. Gingham is from a download. Stamp is from a clear set i got in a sale

Sympathy Card

Hate making these as they tend to make me feel so low. This is for a good friend whos Dad sadly left us last week the same day as my great nephew was born. They do say as 1 leave 1 arrives.

Simple card in black and white . Black paper has a white marble effect. Added a touch of glitter to the edge of the nestie. Stamp is from a friend and cant remeber the name as i type.

God rest his soul Jules will be thinking of you Friday.

Creative Inspirations Wednesday Challenge #17

Morning Girls well it is that time again and time to show you my DT Card for this week.

This week on Creative Inspirations Challenge we would like you all to do a bit of Distressing. Something totally out of my comfort zone as i dont own a distressing tool or any ink. Can you tell. Lol.

Any subject any layout just go to town on crinkling , ripping and inking.

I got this stamp a few weeks ago in a sale thought it might come in handy for mens cards as my Dad loves things like this. The stamp is Personal Impression Beryl Peters Collection P1333P

As I said dont own any inks so used my Promarkers to colour the image and the background edged the paper with the same colour. The green paper is Basic Grey and have edged after ripping with my green versacolour ink and rubbing with my finger. Brown paper has a distressed look to it but added a touch of the old sand paper.

Embellishments 2 green buttons from stash, Button Rocking chair, 2 eyelets in a bottle and old camera in the top corner and the clip is from stampin up. Used the remainder of the papers to decorate the inside.

Soft and Sweet Penny Black Saturday Challenge #58

I am entering this in this weeks challenge over at Penny Black Saturday Challenge with the theme of Soft and Sweet. Well had this image kindly sent to me by a good friend just wish i had more Penny Blacks. How could you not say she isnt Sweet. Used Pastel Soft Colours with a Big Soft Cream flower. Added some Chalking at the bottom in a flower design.

Card and Nappy Cake for Connor Lee

Morning just thought i would share some pictures of my Card i made my Great Nephew didnt go to town with this kept quite simple as parents are very young. Image is from the new Whiff of Joy Stamps. paper i received in a draw from Kimmi and immediately saved for the occassion.
Nappy Cake is a liitle on the large size forgot to stop rolling nappies. 65 nappies new born and mini. Top bottles are the tiny bottle which they had been looking for. Seemed to go down a hit as they hadnt seen one before and Dad kept say wow cool mint and thanks. Lol.

I am a Great Aunt

Yes doesnt that sound old. Lol. Little boy born last night Connor Lee 10.30pm 7 1/2lb. Mum and baby doing well. Cant wait to have a hold but got a cold so will have to keep my distance.
Picture sent via phone to me so sorry not too good but wanted to share. Just wish my sister was here to see she would have been a grand mother at 41. lol. How i could have ribbed her.

No image Challenge

On Sunday at the Manchester meet Patsi challenged me to make a card using these materials.I could add a sentiment, verse, journaling and anything else but no image. Well this was way out of my comfort zone. I added the flowers and also the topper. Also this week on the Docraft forum the ABC challenge is Anniversary so thought i would conbine the 2.

Penny Black Team Effort - 4 challenges

Got this stamp this morning and couldnt wait to play. It is adorable isnt it or is it me just being soft. lol
Stamp is called Team Effort and think that is a perfect title for this card. Teddy Backing paper was from a docraft friend Christine (tillytrotter) Sentiment was from another Crafty Ange. Rest is from my stash.
I am entering this in the docraft penny black challenge hosted by Robo craft. I am also entering it in the Friday Sketcher just moved the gems alittle further apart than sketch hope thats ok. Lastly entering this in Papertake Weekly Challenge.

Miss Anya Altered Container

On Sunday at the Warrington Meet someone comes up with a challenge, well it was Shels turn. She gave us all a container and we had to decorate ours. I used some lovely paper sorry dont have the name of it as Shel provided it and watercoloured a miss anya and added a few flowers from my stash. Added some Black Velvet Ribbon to finish. This was a soap tab box but will now hold my cuttlebug folders.

Used my new Tilda's and watercoloured her. Papers are Laura Ashley again just love this pad and Basic Grey. Papermania gems and my summer sentiment stamp.

A Spoon Full of Sugar - Dressing Up Maggie

Not entered A spoon full of sugar challenge for such along time thought i would have ago. Got this stamp via a friend Crafty Ange on docrafts we did a swop she had been on my wish list for ages but just never managed to get her. So thought that i would try my luck with her. Papers are Papermania. Coloured with my promarkers and then 3d glossed. Flowers are from my stash small ones are from local garden centre. Pearls are from a string of tiny pearls. Gems are from papermill in tiny pots sorry dont know the name of them.The right hand corner has 3 star gems in red too but dont show on picture too well.

Summer's Day tilda - just magnolia week 13

Well at long last I have managed to have a play with my New Summer Tilda's and do my Just Magnolia Challenge hope i have made the dead line.
Papers are Laura Ashley and Gingham download. Buttons where a bargin about 30 for £1 from Lowery. Flowers are from woodware punch. Pale blue and Navy ribbon. Base card is a Pale orange peach colour from Papermill.

Creative Inspirations #17 Stitching

Good morning everyone it is Wednesday and a New challenge at Creative Inspirations - Stitching. This can be either Real or Faux.
1stly let me thank you all that took part last week you all seemed to enjoy it and we had some amazing entries.



I have used Laura Ashley Paper and Hand Stitched with Pink thread also hand stitched the flower which i pricked the pattern from part of a download i have. Image is Whiff of joy do love these stamps. Coloured with my Promarkers and added some nice Baby Blue Satin Ribbon from my local market, a few gems and finished.

Did this as a friendship for a docrafter hope she likes.

I am also enterying this in the Tuesday Taggers as their theme is to do a card for a friend and include a sentiment.
