Crafty Catz Challenge#35 Black & Red

Well gosh that week went quick had soo much to do and got soo little done but hasnt the weather been brilliant.
So it is Friday therefore it is time for another challenge over at Crafty Catz and this week it is the lovely Dianne's turn to set the challenge. This week Dianne has gone with a colour theme "Red & Black". So we would like you to make a card or project with prodominate colours of Black & Red but you can add some other if you so choose.

Our sponser this week is CRAFTS & ME. Teresa has kindly donated this lovely Sweet Pea stamp. Gosh wish I could enter this one.
Well I have used a Sweet Pea stamp for my card and coloured with my promarkers added 3d gloss to the dress and flower to make it pop. Touch of glitter for the wings just because a fairy needs her fairy dust. My flowers where actually white but i coloured with my promarker to match the dress. Swirl is a sizzix a few sequins for the centre of the flowers and a butter fly charm. paper is from my stash and i am sorry cant remember what it is from really should put them back in the packs when i am looking through.

Chocolate Heaven

Well good morning everyone I trust you all slept well and the sun is shinning here in Manchester again so things are looking good. Hopefully a little less running around today and i remember what i am doing think the sun surprised me too much. lol.
Well today i have a card I made for my son's girlfriends mum don't know much about the lady and no brief but do know she likes chocolate. So found this image by Bugaboo which I had on my computer checkout their site it has some wonderful images and also a Friday freebie try before you buy button. I have kept it fairly plain with Chocolate and Red card stock on a white base card. Lovely brown/grey/silver organza ribbon that has gold and silver sparkles. Coloured with my promarkers and added a touch of 3d gloss to the chocolate and the red. Printed and coloured the image twice and cut the 2nd and layered with 3d pads. Touch of faux stitching and finished.

Challenge#63- Creative Inspirations- Beach Theme

Well good evening sorry this is a little late posting but what a day I have had. Started by going to feed my brothers cat and then to post office. Got to the house and i had forgotten my purse so feed cat and went home will go post office later. Then my next trip was to be to my friends Jules to take her grand daughters card and pressie plus jules birthday card. Grrrrrrrrrr got there no birthday card for jules sat on my dining table. Oh well will post birthday card not till next week. Got in car to take my nephews birthday card and deliver my brothers for him. You guessed it on the table with Jules card but wait i have my brothers so at least can deliver that and explain will post with jules when i get home. But wait for it while on my way home i past the house that the people are buying mine and their house is still for sale. Ring estate agent got a flee in my ear what you going checking. NO not checking just passing how can they buy did you check with their estate agent well their reply was well we must have. Now did they i wonder.
So fingers crossed that i get this challenge posted without any mishaps. Lol

Ok this week e the theme BEACH well yesterday you wouldnt have wanted to go on the beach but today it has been really sunny and warm and just the ticket for a Beach theme. Although when i was making this last night i didnt expect such a lovely day.

My card for this week has a stamp from last years Summer kit and i have masked the ring she is sitting on. Papers are from papermanina and i have coloured her with my promarkers and card candy coloured to match the sentiment stamp i picked up at a craft fair sorry dont know the name and i placed a flower to represent the sun. The layout is from Friday Sketchers.

Penny Black Thanks a Bunch

Well hello this sunny afternoon hope the sun is shinning where you are. Much better now the rain has gone but at least the garden looks much better think the plants needed a drink.
Well yesterday my son's girlfriend came and handed me a bag which she said she found in the garage not sure if i could save them or if anything is of use but trow if no good. Looked in found a few stamps oh my god what a mess full of ink glitter some fiskers scissors and embossing powder. Hope my face didn't tell a story as my friends will tell you i hate dirty stamps but am getting over it a little. Well they went out straight away and immediately i had to try and clean them. Well they came up ok well only did the few larger ones cause in the bag was 2 penny black and 2 psx 1 a large house oh that will do for my moving house cards with a few others i have gained. Oh sorry going on abit. I inked this stamp up immediately called Bee Sweet 582j1996 never seen before and it inked perfectly.Isn't it the sweetest she looks like she has been picking flowers from the garden and is hurrying to give them them or place in water. Gosh I am happy Bunny. So this is the card i have made for her as a thank you she is coming in a bit so will give her then.
I have used my promarkers, added a tiny touch of glitter but doesnt show on picture. Cuttlebug dotts folder. Paper is K&Co Sparkly Sweet. Ribbon papermania. Card candy coloured with my promarkers to match. Sentiment is Papermania.

Crafty Catz -Challenge# 34 - The boys are back

Gosh is it Friday already this week has just flown and the kids break up from school for a week today so i guess lots of you will have family home. Now i am rubbing my hands as schools holidays means me time well that is if i dont spend too much time looking for a house.Well enough of my waffle and onto this weeks challeng over at Crafty Catz. This is my 2nd DT card and i must say have loved visiting all the blogs and gaining lots of inspiration from you wonderful crafters. This week it is Carols turn to set our challenge and what a wonderful one too. Carol would like to see a Mans /Boys card. I know that alot dont really like doing fellas cards but it wont be long to fathers day and there are some stunning images out there now. I have use a Lili of the Valley stamp and coloured it in soft colours with my promarkers. I went for the pastel tones to give a relaxed and sleep/ dreamy feel to this. Clean lines for a mascaline card. Coloured with my promarkers and added a few matching buttons from my stash. A touch of bling with the papermanina square gems to reflex the straight lines. cuttlebugged the card in the right hand side. Stamped a simple sentiment. Papers are blue but for some reason shows bit more purple must be the sunshine

An Apple for the Teacher with love

Made this card for my teacher as we wont be seeing her again the course has finished all but the exam in 2 weeks. Grrr revision time. Isnt this image sweet and i picked it because it reminded me of her although a few years ago well this is what i thought she might have look. Strangly she opened it and smiled and said is this me so guess i did ok. Coloured with my promarkers, papers are minds eye i think. Star is a button. Paper clip well we all know that teachers need lots of these. Layout is Papertake Weekly. Oh if you havent guessed the image has to be one of MO's this is from a set of 4 think i need 1 of the lads now.

This arrived for me in the post well gob smacked is not the word. Got some lovely papers too. No not my birthday Just Janette being Janette ( littlebo). Isnt the colouring just stunning and she made the flowers too. I am lucky to hav such talented friends. It's party Time

Hi well i have managed to get this done tonight although everything has been against me. lol. I just managed to get these pictures and my camera died no batteries. Oh i forgot to charge them oh well. I have used the sketch on Mo's dream team blog the monthly challenge and i am not sure now at this late hour if i have missed it. Never mind i enjoyed colouring. The ballons and his shirt has 3d gloss but doesnt show too well on the picture would have taken another if i had time and power. lol. Coloured with my promarkers and kept it simple. Ribbon from my stash and a few chip board pieces to finish.

Pink Gems friends in Bloom

Well this is my 2nd card for today and i hope you like. The image is by the lovely and talented Janet over at Pink Gems . This was a freebie, sometime ago and i think it is just adorable. Janet is running an application for a GDT but closes tomorrow so if you fancy you had better be quick. Also she has for this months challenge to make a card with the colours Pink, Green & Burgundy. Dont these colours work well together.
Image coloured with promarkers , papers from my stash, flowers from hobbycraft. gems papermania. Colours i went with the softer colours of pink and green to contrast with the burgundy.
Also this week at Papertake weekly they have the theme say it with flowers

Magical Tilda with her tent card

Well have you all had a good weekend i guess here in Manchester we have had some really lovely weather with reported high for the country. This evening we have had a lovely breeze which has made the evening just perfect. Well today I had so many challenges i wanted to do but with the heat just couldnt get mojo up and running. Now it is a little cooler he has started to play and i have managed to make a tent card. This is only my 2nd and i think i still need a little practise. Papers are from papermaninia. Tilda coloured with my promarkers with a touch of glitter to her wings well fairys are magical so we need a little fairy dust. Flowers are made by my fair hand with co ordinating paers. Charm is from my statsh. Think the sentiment is a See D one i have had ages. Apreture cut with my nesties. Papermanina stones. Which organisa ribbon. Sorry so many pictures but not the easiest to take a picture of.

Crafty Catz - Challenge 33# Stars & Stripes

Well my card is a Easel card made with a Sugar Nellie stamp from Leanne Ellis called Catch a Falling Star. I thought this would be perfect for this theme. I have coloured it with my Promarkers. Stars are from Crafty Bitzs which i have had for ages and ages. Paper is Papermania Big One which is another item that has been hiding in my box of papers just waiting for the right moment. The Circles have been cut with my Nesties and the Pink nestie is Gemstones card stock i just love this has such a lovely texture and shimmer. A few pink gems as a girl needs her gems and we are finished.

Hi and welcome to another challenge over at Creative Inspirations. Firstly let me say what wonderful cards we had made with our challenge Fairies you all seemed to love this. I really enjoyed checking out your blogs.

Wow more great news

Well I have had such a fab week it is like a dream.

Thursday i found out i had managed to get on the Crafty Catz Design Team then promptly forgot to post my challenge card for this. However this card and tag was also for Pollycraft Designs Challenge and look what my new teamie Linds has just given me the tip off about

Talking of Linds she ran a little draw for people commenting on her bog on friday and I won this too. What more could i ask for the Sun is shinning and i am having the best of weeks.
Oh and not sure if i tell you if it will jinks it but here goes I HAVE SOLD MY HOUSE in the last half hour. This is the 3rd time so please please keep your fingers crossed.
Well off to finish doing my DT card for tomorrow so pop back for anothe challenge with Creative Inspirations and then off to night school.

Hi hope you are having a good night the weather has been lovely here in manchester really warm and sunny got 3 loads of washing out and dry just need to iron it now. Oh well guess you can have it all your way.
