So onto my card (using ''Snow Covered Lamp' post & Pearl the Penguin  by Pattie's creations and 'Country Star Snowman' from Digi Darla )

All items are from my stash rom last year except my new die boarder from Joy Crafts thanks . Image is coloured with promarkers and the green backing is pearl card coloured with my promarkers which gives a lovely sheen sadly not visible on the picture. Added a metal brad onto the wooden snowflake. Lots of 3d gloss and glitter.

Monochromatic at Creative Inspirations

 Good afternoon hope the weather is nice where you are . We are having showers and getting my washing dry is a little bit like exercise. 

Well over at CREATIVE INSPIRATIONS we have another fab challenge for you to play along. It is MONOCHROMATIC

Simply use the original black and white theme on your creations or just shades of one colour with white!
You can also use Hair / Skin Tones but NO OTHER COLOURS.

So now I have told you about the challenge and what is on offer let me show you my card. I have used a KennyK image and used Brown tones for my card.

I have used a ll things from My stash box I think the paper is a Basic Grey and flower is a oddment. Pearls are Meiflower. Sentiment is a unknown stamp. I have also embossed the card with a cuttlebug birds flourish folder. I sizzix thinlit die. Also we have to have the old fave and something that i find hard not to add my Satin ribbon.

Good morning so sorry this is so late seems my scheduled post didnt work think I saved instead of published. Well yesterday saw the start of another challenge at CRAFTY SENTIMENTS and I have another GDT creation. This time I have used a fab stamp called Sweet Butterfly and you can find it here. Good evening I am here with my DT creation for Craft and this week we have another great challenge. It is to make a bookmark or a door hanger

i made a bookmark with an image from Bugaboo. This this little character is nuts about books.

the backing is actually a very old book that had seen far better days and was ready for the bin. I tore pages and layered them. The die cut letters are Diemanics

the mag my card is on is from Liz which I won in a candy and it came with some fab stamps and she even added one of her beautiful cards and some embellishments.

Good evening well we have had another nice day here in Manchester. I have waited in for the guy that fixes your gutters only to be rung up to be told he will be 2 hours late. Not bad he rang. I quickly walked dog and waited and waited hung my washing out waited. No show . Rang and it appears he called no answer at 2.30 well my dog would have heard him ring i would have heard his van surely from the back house isnt that big. 2.40 I was chatting to a neighbour in the front. Oh well wait for another day.

Good morning did you all have a good weekend I do hope so. Well gosh the weeks are flying and i am here with another CRAFTY SENTIMENTS challenge. I think you all loved the freebie and we had some amazing sunny creations made With It For Those That Missed Out You Can Buy From The Store. Gosh I got so much inspiration from you all.

Well as i said today we have another challenge and i do hope you will come and join us. As before you don't have to use a CRAFTY SENTIMENT image but if you do remeLovedmber to put 3 after your name and you get 3 entries into the draw. The challenge this week is

I picked this as it reminded me of my dog Buddy although I didn't quite get the colouring to match him.

The image has been coloured with Promarkers. DP is from a old pad the big. The boarder is a sizzix some brown satin narrow ribbon, Nestie scallop circles for the image and the sentiment is a studio small set. I kept the layout fairly simple to show off the fab image.

Good evening hope you have had a good friday I have been shopping and got some bargins a bag of ribbon for £5 there must be about 50 metres in although only 4 colours and some nice lace in the sale. Then went to asda and got a pair of sandles for £3.

Any way I am not here to go on about my shopping trip but to tell you about our challenge at CRAFTY CATZ

This weeks challenge is picked by our lovely and crazy Sassy who sadly has had to step down due to personal problems. We wish her well with the next month and what it has in store for her. So the challenge is

I have coloured her with my promarkers and the background i have used my distressed ink raspberry to shade the card. A doily some liquid pearls some nice pink satin ribbon from my local shop a couple of recycled buttons in the corner and the sentiment stamps are small unknown, The pink mess at the bottom is from Crafty Ribbons. Well a simple little card but I do love this little Harriet and checkout the rest of her on the site.

I have kept the layout simple and just used a doily and some ribbon from my stash. The sentiment is a whimsey one. The backing card is Co odinations gemstone and the corners have been punched with a M,S punch.

Well I hope you like my card a little different but I really enjoyed colouring it.

So what colour did I pick well I had to make this card for a neighbours daughter and she does like balck so instead of the usual black and white thought i would mix it up with Lilac

Ingredients are 

Uptown girl stamp coloured with promarkers. DP is from stash and must be at least 6 years old. Black card and Black glitter paper. Heat embossed Lili of the Valley sentiment. The flowers are Diemanics prima donna petals with liquid pearl centre. I think the black really makes the Lilac pop what do you think? The letters are also by the same die company.

Ok I must dash as I am out for lunch with a few friends celebrating a birthday no not mine.

Well I think she is well and truly ready for the beach how about those sun glasses a girl has to have pink dont you think so. I have coloured my image with my Promarkers and added a touch of 3d gloss to the ring and the glasses not sure it shows up on the ring.  Used my new Sizzix die for the image and a spellbinder to mount the sentiment on thought it reminded me of the Sun. Ribbon is from my stash and some tiny papermania buttons. Dp is Minds eye and freebie from a mag. This is much brighter in real life yesfolks well the image is but the sun either bleached the colour or inside it was too dark. Must experiment with my camera more.

Ok so now you have seen I must dash as the bus is leaving for the beach and i need my sun factor. lol

Christmas In July at Crafty Catz

Good evening hope you day has gone well and yeepee it is weekend and my son is off on sunday again. Wonder if that means we have guests for tea again not that we eat our guests. We had a BBQ last weekend and I ate enough protein to last me the week.
Well Friday brings us another challenge at Crafty Catz and this week we would like you to feel a little cooler as it is CHRISTMAS IN JULY.

Hang on I havent shown you mine

Well I have been having a little problem with my printer and son decided to sort but in doing so used my colour ink. Not a problem you say as my image is Black Only printing. Wrong it uses colour even though I select and wont print if the colour is low. I really will have to save for a black laser printer or a Black printer.
So in Blue Peter fashion I rumaged and found this older image from Sassy Studios and quickly coloured it up so hope it is ok.

Image has been coloured with promarkers. I have used some glitter card and some silver grey pearl card. Snowflakes are cuttlebug. The snowflake top header is a fab Joy die from a friend, Green miri card memory box die tree. Lattice die is a spellbinder. Satin white ribbon from Meiflower Clear gems for that extra bling.
So no Dp but I wanted it to give you a wintery feel with lots of sparkle.
