Happy Birthday To Us!

Can you believe it? CRAFT Challenge is already 5 years old. Originally started by Tracy from Just Tracy Crafts and with a DT mostly recruited from Trimcraft forum members (Hence the term CRAFT Challenge, which stood for Crafters Residing Are Friendly Trimmies. Or if you wished alternative meaning of Can't Remember A Flipping Thing) on the 4^th of May 2009.

We have now grown to be a large team of Design Team Members from all around the world, supplemented with lots of Guest Designers who join us for a month at a time.

We have always welcomed all kinds of craft, not just paper craft (unless specifically stated so in the challenge at the time) and are happy to have such a large group of faithful followers.

So, how are we going to celebrate this milestone?

Well, how else can we celebrate than to have our yearly Blogaversary Blog Hop?

Good evening hope you are having a good day the weather has been good here and been busy busy so i am sorry this is a little late but this morning we at CRAFTY SENTIMENTS  started a new challenge. Also we have 2 new members starting with us this week so please pop along and show them some love.

Well this week our challenge is every ones favourite

So onto my card and i have also done the inside to co ordinate with the front. The image and papers are all from CD 1 which you can order from the shop.

The image is a pre coloured image and used these fab papers.

Good evening I am here with a quick post before i go off to bed. Today saw the start of a fab challenge at CRAFT and this week we would like to see lots of handmade embellishments. So lets see lots of creativity.

April Showers at Divas By Design

Good morning I am here to share with you my DT card for Divas By Design. This week our challenge is.....

So onto my Card I have gone with a old stamp from The Anya Set which I haven't used for some time which is a shame as it is a lovely set.

here is a close up of the image i coloured with my promarkers

I paper pieced the coat and umbrella  and also used the same paper behind the Martha Stewart and also the flowers and leaves i punched. I used a monochrome effect with my card. The flowers are Marianne die cuts . Dps are all from stash.Lace is from a local shop and the black narrow ribbon is velvet. Stampin up metal embellishment clip a few pearls for the flower centre and along the bottom. The layout is from Sketch n stash

Dayna's Birthday

Hello I am here today to show this little Birthday card.  

I made it with Dayna - Birthday from the April Release which you can find in the shop here
I have made this for the Inspirational Blog where each day one of the team shares one of their projects.
I wasnt able to join them in the Hop showing the April release and loved all the projects so jumped at making a card with this cute little elephant.

A 6x6 inch card blank matted with blue card and Mirri card

The Designer Papers and Sentiment are both from the CD which you can find in the shop as well.

Good morning apoligy for being MIA but I have been poorly this week and unable to get any crafting or blogging done. Hopefully I am now on the mend and luckly i had my Crafty Catz DT card done well in advance due to it being an order.

So as i said i had an order for a thank you card but she wanted the theme of Knitting and it was for an elderly lady. As soon as she said what she wanted this image from Make It Crafty sprang to mind. Although I have edited the image as she has her hubby next to her in another rocker reading a newspaper. Great value for pennies.

So onto my card which I made for my Brother who is 4 years younger than me so i can get away with the sentiment which i typed on the computer

image is from INKLINE and is coloured with promaekers. omg did we have fun colouring this he was so many shades of orange to brown thanks to my brothers 2 sons input. Note to self dont ask eldest what colour animals are. the clouds have been done with chalk they are a bit brighter in real life but had to take picture quickly and idnt check it. DP is from a pad a friend gave me think is either dovecraft or papermania. Ribbon from stash and a touch of mirri card. Well brother liked and said was it supposed to be him or was it a self portrait cheeky monkey

Oh it is Springtime at Crafty Catz

Good evening hope you have had a good weekend mine has been eventful but I am very tired Saturday lots of retail and therpy  which was good spending far more than I had planned and still didnt get everything i wanted. Hey ho but got some good bargins.
