Good morning gosh where has the sun gone. 

Well at least no rain at the minute so not too bad. 

Well today i am here to show you my little clock I made for the CRAFTY SENTIMENTS - ANYTHING GOES challenge starting today. I do hope you will be able o come and join us it is the easiest of challenges so no excuse really you can combine your challenges. So as they say you have to be in it to win it.

Ok all the details are over now my turn to share some picture

and a close up of the 2 stamps I love Flowers & Taking Pictures dont they work well together

I got a one of those clocks from those pound type shops and dismantled it tip check it works before doing all the hard work. Long story but think you can guess. I then used Acrylic paints , deylusions inks, mica, and touches of distressed ink in various layers. Did you know if you heat acrylic paint it bubbles for a distress feel. The picture was coloured with my promarkers and distressed inks and some chalk. I coloured some peel off numbers and added some gems for the points on the clock. Glued the picture inside the clock and re assembled the clock. I took the picture before the glass from was placed back as it made it easier to get a better picture of the stamps.

Well something a little different for me than a card and i must say did enjoy doing and might have another go at one. What do you think would love to kno-w. This will be winging its way to a little birthday girl in the next few days hope she likes.

Good afternoon from a warm sunny Manchester washer on again for the thrid time i am making the most of it the washing line is straining under the weight hope it doesnt give out. Anyone would think i hadnt washed n ages only 2 of us. Well beds stripped and some summer clothes not worn have been washed to freshen up. Please dont tell me it is rain tomorrow.

Well getting my chores done this week has played havoc with my post. Friday I caught up and posted 3 including a GDT spot for Sami Stamps but totally forgot my Friday post for CRAFTY CATZ. sorry girls.

So onto my card I have used A RADOM FAN digi I won some time back and it is a birthday card for my son's girlfriends son which I didnt get to show on his birthday so here it is

I die cut his name and his mum thought it was him to a Tee. The image has been coloured with promarkers. DP is from a very old pad and the ribbon is from stash too. The Star Flourish is a Joanna sheen one along with the banner.

The flowers and leaves are Sizzix thinlets. Paper is from a freebie pack from a mag. Ribbon, Mesh and Pearls are all from my stash. Layout yet again is the fab sketch from Sketch N Stamp.

Magnolia Time at Divas By Design

Hi folks yes me again if you are looking for the Sami Stamps new Release it is below this one.

Well I am here with my DT card for DIVAS BY DESIGN which started a little late as our lovely boss was a wee bit poorly but back to health now and challenge is up and running. So I will get quickly onto it.

So we of course want to see you use your Magnolias this week,

 other than that you can create whatever you like!

Now I dont get my Tildas out often so what better excuse than this and this is what I made and in a vintage style which i don't do often either

The die cut header is a wedding die from from Crafty sentiments and the base layers are Quickutz. The Dp is from a freebie pad in  a mag from last year i so love these papers. All flowers are Wild Orchid. 2 layers of lace in lilac and white lots of pearls, a heart embellishment with pearl from stash. Fancy Pin made by a friend just love them and hate using cause when they are gone they are gone. Tilda  coloured with Promarkers and cut out then mounted on to a spellbinders fancy oval which has been embossed and coloured lightly with distressed ink then mounted on another of the ovals, behind these are 2 dollies coloured with distressed inks. The butterfly is Martha Stuart. Layout is a sketch from Sketch N Stash hope you can see under all the embellishments.

I picked this fab image called SHOULDER RIDE

I am sure we have all been carried by our Dad like this when we where young.

My card is a large 8x8 inch. I have matted it with Silver Mirri and Navy and Light Blue Card. I have coloured the image with my Promarkers and i printed it out twice and cut the top one out and layered it for some height.The background has been coloured with distress inks and chalk. The fence is a Crafty Sentiments Die. The sentiment is a Pink Petticoat. Dp is from stash and a few gems to finish

Hope you like my card I will be giving this to my Dad as it brings back memories of days long gone.

Wet or Dry Just Emboss at Crafty catz

Good afternoon I am here and yes it is Friday and on time well with the day anyway. Today we start a new challenge at CRAFTY CATZ and this week we have a easy one for you all. 

EMBOSSING

For my card i have used a fab image from their store called Fae 19 coloured with my promarkers

The backing paper is from my stash and sorry it is a loose sheet so not sure whos it is. I have used a embossing folder on the lilac card and the frame behind the image is a spellbinders and is white embossed vellum. The purple flowers, swirl and butterfly are all paper clay using various molds. Pink and white lace from a local shop and string of pearls cut is again from stash. Wings on the image is glittered and the large die cut shapes are accucut dies

Well I hope you like my little card it isnt the card i set out to make but think ended not too badly. What do you think would love to know.

However before you do let me share with you my card made with a fab image from Meljen's Designs called flower girl. I have coloured her with promarkers and Paper pieced her coat. The papers are from our boss lady Jo at Trimgymm

I have used all thins i have in my stash and have been there for at least 2 years except my new molds i used with some paper clay to make the flower and leaf.. The layout is from Sketch n stash

CRAFTY SENTIMENTS SNEAK PEEP New Release - Lemonade Sunday

Good morning hope your day is filled with sunshine.

 Have you been following the Sneak Peeps from Crafty Sentiments well if you have missed any just checkout the Crafty Sentiments Inspirational Blog where you will find todays along with the last 2 days and links to all the team members posts for further information.

Today i am bring you my card I made with the fab new stamp LEMONADE SUNDAYwhich you will be able to buy along with all the rest tomorrow from our shop here

I am not too sure what you would call the card i sort of made it like a step card but wanted the image to stand proud but still fit the envelope. I call it a shelf card if you have seen something like this and it has a .name please share I am sure someone else will have made one like it before. The front folds flat and the top of the image lies in line with the top of the card when folded. I tend to stick the bottom down first and line the top up before sticking the front top.

The stamp has been coloured with my Promarkers and I wanted to use yellow to tie in with the Lemonade. The clouds have been done with distressed ink. The papers are first edition I so love these pads as most of the papers have gltter on them and are such good quality. The sentiment stamp is one i picked up from a craft fayre some time ago with no name. Some lovely wide yellow organza ribbon to finish off. The banner is a signature die from joanna sheen and i have cut 3 of them a base on and 2 in DP to lay onto the top. These papers are from the first CD which you can purchase at the shop.

Well I am sure you will agree that she is a cutie and checkout the rest over at the inspirational blog. I think this is one of my fave new releases and i think I want them all.

I have used this fab stamp called Space Walking which you will find in the store here. My song is by David Bowie Space Oddity his reminded me of the word Ground Control to Major Tom

I have used a embossing folder and then coloured it with my distress inks, mica gold spray and dylusions. The die cuts are a Joanna Sheen star burst die & an Xcut oval for the stamp. Star gems and some silver organza ribbon, Black, Blue and Mirri card. This is a 8x8inch card

Good evening so sorry i forgot to post my DT card for CRAFTY CATZ and have been making the most of the lovely Sunshine. My garden has had a haircut and even done some weeding and must say alot of my shrubs have been sorted and looking much better. If the weather holds i might even manage to paint the shed this week.

Well back to why i am posting. Friday was the start of a new challenge at CRAFTY CATZ and this week we are getting fit with SPORTS. So lets see lots of creations featuring sports.

Well a friend recently gave birth to a little boy 'Welcome Little Freddie'

So i decided I would make a Nappy Cake now I havent done one of these for about 5 years and wondered if i could remember how to do it

Just 1 packet of nappies, toys bottle, dummies,bibs, vests,blanket and muslin, nappy pins and anything else you can find to add to it.
