#303 Crafty catz - masculine- Candy canes for a Pal

Well did you have a good Black Friday get any bargins? 

I got a Active fryer not that i wanted one but got talked into it by Son.

Well that leads me onto my DT card for Crafty Catz as it is Friday.

This weeks challenge is

MASCULINE

so dig out those stamps and time to make something for the boys.

Well i went with another Christmas card with a fab digital image from Simple B Stamps called Millers Raindeer Pal

Image has been coloured this time with my promarkers. Lots of glitter but omg talk about being camera shy. Dies are whimsey and marianne.I have embossed the white panel and one of the trees with a cuttlebug folder and then lightly shaded with distressed inks.

DP is from another very old pad. i have refused to buy any this year as i have loads that need using up. It is a shame to leave them sat there. I think everything on this card must be at least 1 year old

Well thats another for my list to be ticked off.

Winter Birthday Time at Digi Choosday

Happy Tuesday to you gosh the Winter is here with us now. A shock to the system the frost on the cards in a morning.

Well as it is Tuesday that can only mean a new challenge starting at 

DIGI CHOOSDAY 

and what do we have for you this week.

(remember our challenges run for 2 weeks but we start a new theme each week)

WINTER BIRTHDAYS

Oh now Winter Birthdays close to Christmas can often get neglected. For my Winter Birthday card I have used Octavia Frosted Winter and Twiggy & Toots CDs and made a winter scene.

 All printed onto Ultimate Graphic paper available in the shop here. As you can see this is for my Dad whooooo (sorry had to be done) has a birthday the week before Christmas.

I have coloured the image with my Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor Pencils.

Used a Crafters Companion Embossing folder and cut a oval with a Xcut die

Used some silver Glitter card for some sparkle to mount the sentiment and the backing paper.

Added a Diecut fence and a feern punch for the front. Finished with a nice big double bow with ribbon from Crafty Ribbons.

Well I hope my Dad likes and I hope you do too.

Shades of Blue challenge at Crafty Catz

Good evening wow the weather has definitely turned cold here in the UK and we have had a little snow in the north although I am happy to say that I havent seen any yet.

Well yesterday saw the start of a new challenge at CRAFTY CATZ and it is Diannes turn to pick a challenge theme. Well what better than SHADES OF BLUE which I think is an excellent colour for all those winter cards.

WHITE plus 1 at Polkadoodles -Kitty Wishes

Good morning wow another week has flown by not many weeks left to Christmas and I havent a 1 present. Thankfully they mostly want money as they say things cost too much so happy to club together. I am not keen as feel that they dont have anything on the day so end up getting a little something. Is this the case in your house.

Well enough of my chatter lets get down to business.

Friday means time for Team A's turn to start a new challenge at POLKADOODLES and wow have we a cracker for you.

WHITE PLUS 1 EXTRA COLOUR

now I just love Black and white cards and dont get to make them much so when i saw this I just jumped at a monochrone theme.

Have a look round my images from Polkadoodles and came across this one in Work & Play 10 in the Digi section a cute family of pussy cats which you can but just on its own for 99p here bargin.

The paper is also from the CD but I printed it in Grey Scale and also the sentiment. 

I love to use papers in Grey Scale.
Coloured with a mix of promarkers and mainly my lyra rembrandt polycolour pencils

Nesties, cuttlebug spots embossing folder, ribbon in white and grey and some grey Pearls to finish.
