Julia Spiri ATG Challenge with a Twist & My exciting New

Good morning well this is my 2nd post today it is like buses non for ages then 2 comes along.
If your looking for the Craft DT card it is below CAS and now for something completely different

Well I have been saying for the last 2 weeks I have some news for you well I can now reveal.

This is my 1st DT Post for Julia Spiri Challenge Blog

Well this fortnight challenge is as always

ANYTHING GOES

but we have a twist if you should care to accept our further challenge MAKE A BAG

Now let me share with you my BAGS

Yes I said BAGS I told you I was excited and made 2.

Both have the same image but I think you will agree that the bags are completely different and just shows how you can used the image to create 2 different feels.

The image i have used is

Vintage Hair from The Fantasy Hair collection

available from the shop HERE

So lets start with the more feminine bag

I have coloured the image with my Promarkers.

Dies used are Joy butterfly boarder, Spellbinders frame, a  heart die.

Lemon lace and Purple Grosgrain ribbon from stash.

 and now onto the more Sassy Vintage bag

This one has been coloured again with my Promarkers

Marianne die frame and My favorite dies,

Clock charm and pin, Lace flower with large gem. Pearl brad closure.

Gliding wax on the frame and bag edges. 

I have also added some surkura gel pens to the design on the bag to give it some sparkle.

Both bags are made with K & Co card.

Now which do you perferr

I really could not make my mind up

Craft Challenge - Clean & Simple

Good Thursday morning to you hope you slept well. Today I have some exciting new but cant share till 10am this morning so please pop back and read all about it.

I have coloured the image with my promarkers. used a Lawn Fawn die for the scallop stitched edge.

Yes I added some gems as I never know how not to embellish as it looked a little bare at the edges.

So onto my card for your inspiration

I have used Retro selfie for my card and have coloured it with my promarkers.

I decided I was going to make the image to look like the old Polaroid pictures and write a note on the bottom. I have used a old pad for my DP and have used some Black ribbon and candy dots to make a pin board effect to add the picture on. 

Embellishments are paper clips and a spring clip

Decoupage with Julia Spiri at CRAFTY CATZ

Happy 1st April to you all and no this isnt a April Fools joke. However it is details of this weeks new challenge at CRAFTY CATZ.

This week we are doing a Technique challenge

DECOUPAGE

Which means layers in my book. Although there are 2 different styles both have been used by the team for your inspiration.This was my very first venture into Card making way back before I found rubber & digital stamping.

So now let me share with you my card using a image from our sponsor.

 and a side view showing the layers

The image i have used is called The Cake Hat and you can purchase it on its own Here or as part of a set of 4 from Here

I have printed the image 3 times and coloured with my promarkers. then cut out different layer of each to give a 3d effect. I have used Glue gel to give height although you could use foam pads.

I have used a birthday embossing folder and some DP from my Scrap box.

Embellished with Lace, Ribbon & Pearls.

The Birthday sentiment is a Whimsy Rubber Stamp

Create Your Own.........Craft Challenge

Good morning are you ready for a new challenge from CRAFT.
Well this week we would like you to make your own Background
Now if you are stuck for ideas then the team have made some fabulous samples for your inspiration.

So onto my card using one of the fabulous image from our sponsor called Love Mice and can be found in the shop HERE

I have coloured the image with Promarkers and the background on the image has been done with inks. I drew the little birds with a fine pen.
I have made my bacground papers by embossing the with a heart folder from Cuttlebugn and a Super Powder Puff folder from Couture creations
Added a Navy bow and a diecut flower with a few perals. the sentiment have been cut with a tattered Lace die and the frame on the sentiment is a Crafty Sentiment die.
Well i hope this has given you some ideas for Backgrounds.
