Women Only for Crafty catz challenge with The East Wind

Good morning well Friday arrives again I must say all too fast for my liking at this rate Christmas will be here before i can blink.

Well today we have a new challenge at Crafty Catz and I am the host for the week. That means i get to pick a theme. So this week is ALL ABOUT WOMEN

yes we want to see cards and creations with Woman only on them.

The image has been coloured with my promarkers. 

the background is create a card die from Crafter Companion cut in Black and then I added Lots and Lots of gliding wax to the embossed areas.

Layered onto Black and Pink card.

Embellished with Spiders web ribbon, diecut flowers, skeleton leaves, punched leaves and gems.

Craft challenge - Paper Piecing

Good morning well today being Thursday means time for a new challenge at CRAFT

This week we have a Technique challenge for you

PAPERPIECING

We got to work with some cute images this week and I picked a Sweet Dreams from Sweet & Sassy availble from there shop here

I Paper pieced the baby's blanket and pillow with a piece of DP from scrap box 

Printing the image onto the paper and fussy cutting the elements i need.

I then glued them onto the coloured image.

Background was made with my inks and i added glitter to some of the stars but not sure if it has shown up on the picture.

DP is a papermania pad

Bottle big and rattle are a Mc Gill Punch. i also used a corner punch for the image and the matting.

Sentiment is a Whiff of Joy and i finished the card off with some gem stars and some thin ribbon.

So this is my card I have made using the freebie and also one of our latest Watercoloured Cliparts

Peonies and Ranunculus

I have coloured my image with promarkers in pastel tones to match the clip art.

The diecuts are Xcut Oval and a marrianne

Glitter added to the wings and also touches on the clip art.

I made the backing in word and used elements layering. Printed a few extra flowers to fussy cut and layer on top. Added some inks to the edges of the paper in a blue tones.

Layered onto lilac and silver mirri card.

Added Purple Ribbon and Pearsl and a gem centre to the bow.

Time has a Wonderful Way

I am here with my card for this months Free Stamp of the month at From the Heart Stamps.

I just love their quirky images and if you use the stamp of the month they will send you next months free. Wow how good is that.

Well i am cutting it fine this month but hope that they like it.

I have used the sentiment and the flowers from the stamp set and made this card.

The stamp is called Time to Bloom and if you would like to purchase you can here

I coloured the flowers with promarkers fussy cut them and layered. used a punch for the leaves and the sentiment was printed and cut out with my stitched oval die then mounted onto amarriane die and then onto a tonic die. Used a couture embossing folder for the background and added some lace ribbon and pearls.

I was inspired by the Sentiment just love this and is so true.

Fairies or Something Enchanting at Crafty Catz this week

Good morning are you ready for the Bank Holiday. 

A short week for the workers and schools here in the Uk.

So onto my card i have used a stamp which you can also get as a digi image from Sugar Nellie.

I have used my promarkers and gone with a lovely Spring colour theme. 

Frame was cut with a quickutz die and i have used a embossing folder on the layer behind. the dp is either papermania or dovecraft think it is called fairytale. Sorry a old pad.

Lace and seem binding from my stash and a lovely pearl button to finish off.

Good morning wow where did that 2 weeks go? 

Well did you checkout the stunning new designs in the shop . Love the water coloured flowers and wow those new Wedding images are just perfect for the up and coming Wedding Season.

Well today we start a new challenge at Julia Spiri Challenge Blog 

As always it is

ANYTHING GOES(with a twist)

and you dont have to use one of our images but we would love you to and why wouldnt you.

The design team always do the twist and if you would like to use our theme then we would love to see it.

This time the twist is A CARD FOR A CHILD

So here is my card and yes it is for a BOY using the fabulous Football available here

I made this in Barcelona football team colours. 

 My Nephew who is 10 is just mad on them along with his friends. 

So this will come in handy for one of his up and coming Birthday parties they are having.

Image has been coloured with my promarkers.

The HB2U is a clip art I found on my computer sadly it hasnt a name on the file so am thinking it might have been a freebie.

Used a Joanna Sheen star burst die in Red and Silver Mirri card and numbers are a Die- namics 

Some green star gems and a stripe of DP on the top with footballs.

This is a 8inch Square card so a fairly large one.
