Craft Challenge - Easel Card

Good morning from a Wet and Dark Manchester. I do hope it brighterns up later for when the children come out of school as I saw so many with no coats before it started.

Today we have a new challenge at CRAFT and this week we are using

Facebook challenge for Julia Spiri 1st Blog Anniversary with a freebie

Hi this is my 2nd post today and also my 2nd post featuring a image from Julia Spiri Stamps.

Well today over on facebook Julia Spiri is celebration her 1st blog Birthday?Anniversary.

Yes 1 year how time flys when your having fun.

Well if you hop along and celebrate with Julia you might just find this fabulous image.

Yes Julia is kindly giving this image away to her fans on facebook.

I have made a little notebook which i can keep beside my computer and add notes while I am doing my comments and DT work.

The image is called CRAFTY GIRL and i have coloured her with my promarkers and adding a little pencil. for highlights and depth

The notebook was a very cheap pad from a local supermarket.

DP is a freebie in a mag. Lace from my stash. 

Letters are My fave things die and then embossed with a cuttlebug folder dots and also stars folder.

Wooden butterfly and some pearls.

Julia Spiri Challenge - ANYTHING GOES with optional Twist & Birthday announcement

Good morning and Happy Birthday to US!

Yes it is our Birthday at Julia Spiri Challenge and it is time for a New Challenge

As always our challenges are ANYTHING GOES

and the DT follow a option BOXES which we would love you to follow but this is not a must.

Now we would love you to join us using one of Julia's images and if you are a fan on Facebook you just might find a freebie or 2. However we are happy for you to play along with any make of image.

We are also running a challenge this month on Facebook with Julia's images

So now I have told you what our challenge is let me share with you my Box.

I have used one of the Hat Collection called Steam Punk which was my very 1st image I bought and is available from the shop HERE
This is a view of the top of the box

This is a view from the side showing the black lace running around it

I have coloured my image with a mix of promarkers and Lyra rembrandt pencils.

I then went over the image with a clear embossing pad and added clear embossing powder and heated. repeated this process to give a gloss and protection.

 The hearts are tattered lace and Xcut with the same treatment but with a gold embossing powder.

The image is mounted on a Marriane die and a Spellbinders die. The gold lattise die is also a Spellbinders die. 

The box has been made with Centura pearl card. and Gold mirri card

 Embellished with Black lace Silver metal butterfly, Chain and a large Pearl

well thats my little box and hope you like.

Crafty Catz challenge - ATG with optional twist

Good morning a late and quick post from me as i am suffering to day with headache as i went to the eye hospital yesterday for scans and drops.

So my post is a day late as i thought I had scheduled but heyho senior moment no it didnt.

Crafty Catz challenge this week is hosted by the lovely talented and crazy Janette.

Our theme is now always ANYTHING GOES but for those looking for a challenge our twist is AUTUMN

All the team has taken the challenge so a great place to head over for some inspiration.

so here is my little card which started out as a tag but as it is A6 size guess i could attach to a very lage present if needed.

Image is Scraf Lover and is coloured with Promarkers and cut out with A spellbinders die and matted onto a larger one from the set.

The leaf is a marrianne  Die which comes with the vines I have used different coloured card and then distressed inks and the edges have Copper gliding wax on then.

all matted onto some beige card which has been embossed with a fiskers leaf plate and then the embossing highlighted with distressed inks. Matted in gold mirri card then wrapped with some lush ribbon.

Well hope you like no DP on thsi one and just love that leaf die which was a die i have been trying to get for ages and arrived as a present for a very generous and dear friend.

Good morning well the sun is out so might just get some washing dry today then hopefully a little crafting. Talking of Crafting are you ready for a challenge.

So I have used a digital image called COLD CHRISTMAS available from their shop here

Now all my products are over 12months old asI am still using loads of stash I have aquired.

Image coloured with Promarkers 

Snowflkes embossing folder and also the sentiment has been embossed onto Vellum and then I coloured the back lightly with some ink which left the invents of the embossing white.

some fluffy stuff for the snow falling on the image which you heat emboss and it fluffs up

the centre of the snowflake has tiny flowers from ribbon trim. Pearl centre
