I am here today with my DT card for Crafty Catz and this week it is the lovely Zora's turn to pick our twist. Zora would like to see SNOW (not sure i would actually at the minute)

did you know a group of Penguins where called a Waddle well you do now. Well these lot have waddled their way together for this Christmas scene 

This is a very long slim card something differnet from my square cards. 

i coloured the image with Promarkers

added gems and a ribbon from crafty Ribbons

Some glitter on the hats and a clear stamp Sentiment.

Autumn Sprite & Halloween bag

Hi are you ready for Halloween

I have a card and a bag to share with you today both are from the artist Heather Valentin and are from the Colour of Love website HERE

First up is my card featuring Autumn Sprite. I just love these images

I have coloured the image with Promarkers and Graphic markers

The backing has been done with my new Brusho pots of magic and some stamps from stash

some twine and nuvo drops to finish off.

Now onto my bag which will be filled with yummy goodies for the children visiting along with my hand bowl

Good morning and well we have a wet and damp day today no sun but hopefully he will appear in a little while.

Well I struggle picking and must say bought a few others but I went for this cute 

MINI ELF I did get a Halloween but time wasn't on my side this week so only got this done

Well that my offering and I did colour 2 exactly the same but am not sure why as if i was going to 3d it i would have done at least 3 so if anyone knows what i was thinking let me know in a comment.

wow this one is a hard one to walk away from as to me means no embellishments no frills even just a image direct to card with sentiment. No way could I do that so this is my idea and hope that she allows my DP which is double sided so really is only 1 piece

Well here it is I think this would work for both sexes as I know a few males like a glass or 2 of the Red stuff. What do you think.

For my card I used the image Gina Christmas Elf The image has been cropped for my card as I only wanted the top half as I wanted to show what a fabulous image and all the detail

Craft challenge - A little Cracker

Hello and welcome.

Have you seen there is a new challenge at CRAFT CHALLENGE BLOG

this week they would like you to make either a Bag or a BOX/ Cracker

We where allowed to pick a file from their store and I picked the  'Cracker treat box' 

Here is my Cracker using some old 12x12 DP from my stash which I though was a lovely bright cheerful colour. My picture just shows the one but I have made a few as a set.

I used the PDF file as I dont have a cutting machine but it is such a easy file to use.

I added some raffia and a few bells.

The diecut is a cut with a die I purchased some time ago I think may have been off ebay. It has some Raindeer with it but just used a section of it.

The Happy Birthday is some ribbon I had from crafty Ribbons.

Well I hope this has inspired you to have a go. With Halloween just round the corner maybe you could make a bag for the candy or even why not a Halloween cracker or box.
