Crafty Catz DT Challenge - Special Birthday

Gosh another week gone and it is time for another challenge at Crafty Catz and this week it is Suzanne's turn and she would like us all to make a Special Birthday Card. Now when you get to my age all birthdays melt into one but I am sure we can all find someone that would like a special card on their birthday.

Now this is for a friend who now doesnt want her age shouting to all but like a party so 21plus is perfect for her. Well off to do some more clearing hope i leave something to move to the new house. lol.

Lili of the Valley Fairy's Celebrations

Hi this is my afternoons relaxation at long last I might get some sleep now I have found a house just hope that it all goes through now.

Well I received this image in the post yesterday and although not a masive fan of fairies think these Lili of the Valley stamps are stunning.

I have used the sketch from Papertake and used mixture of Minds eye and Making Memories paper for this. Image is coloured with my Promarkers and the sentiments are Lili of the valley. I have used my Circular Nesties for the image and sentiment . Flowers ribbon and brads from my stash. Touch of glitter on the dress and wings which i hope shows up on my rubbish pictures roll on summer for better light at night.

Hello and welcome hope you are all well I am going to have a look at a house today saw one yesterday and have to make my mind up which to get and gosh they are 2 completely different houses yesterdays was a 2 bed terrace about 90 years old with everything redone. Today is a 18year old semi with 3 bedrooms although slightly smaller bedrooms both have their faults and advantages just hope i pick the right one.

Now onto my card I used this cute Skate Boarder gosh brings back memories had a sister that had one deadly thing in the wrong hands lol. Coloured with my promarkers and used papermania papers. This is one of my more plainer cards dont think the boys like alot of fuss. Sentiments are from Lili of the Valley. Boarders cut with my M. S Punch. Think thats about it not a difficult card to make and these tend to be my fave colours for mens cards.Sorry about the pictures the colours are a bit brighter but the light here is just horrid at the moment.

Sorry this is a little late been busy today and thought I had scheduled it but didn't guess i am getting old. This week at Creative Inspirations we have a great challenge for you called Plain & Simple which means no more than 2 designer papers and maximum of 4 flowers. My card feature one of the house mouse stamps which the image i pinched off a friend isnt it cute. My card is made for my son to give his girlfriend. I used some acetate with hearts on and made a see through card. Valentine paper is some I have had for ages. Image is from a friend ( thanks Jules) coloured with my promarkers cut out and placed on a nestie cut with pink glitter card. Brads hold the front card to the base and a charm heart hangs from some white satin ribbon in front of some lace. Flowers from my stash. I think Chris is going to pass this off as his handy work.

Good Morning it is half through the week gosh February next week what happened to January did I sleep through it. Well Wednesday means another fab challenge over at Creative Inspirations and we have a fab theme of Buttons & Bows so another nice easy one.

Firstly sorry about the pictures the light was really bad and I took it at night not the best thing without a light box. I used this fab image from Lili of the valley and the layout is there's too. I have added some pearl hearts which fits into Total Paper Crafts theme of add a heart.

Kiss for Chole stamp by Sarah Kaye

Hi and thanks for popping by had some time to play yesterday and seraching for a forgotten stamp for Crafty Catz challenge last Friday I found a few stamps i hadnt used and this is one of them. It is a Sarah Kaye stamp called A Kiss for Chole. I used my promarkers and picked a colour combo from Truly Scrumptious. I have sent this to a friend who is feeling a little low at present and hopefully this will let her know how much she means to her friends.

Papers are Minds Eye I think. Flowers are from my stash along with the brown ribbon. Gems are papermania. Sentiment is a penny black from a Teddy Bear set. This fits a few challenges which I have listed below the pictures.
