A Floral Decoupage for Craft

Good evening I am a little late this week with my Craft DT creation. This week we have a technique challenge for you to try.

DECOUPAGE

With decoupage we mean the 3D decoupage to fashion 3D images on your projects

So now onto my card using a old stamp i had in my stash from when I first started crafting

and a side view showing the layers

I stamped the image 4 times 3 on white and 1 on the pink. I coloured the rose with my promarkers.

I cut the image reducing the amount i left with just the head and flowers being the top layer.

The Dp is a dovecrafts paper from a pad called fairytale. Some satin ribbon the finish. The layer embossed has been embossed with lace folder and then lightly coloured with distressed ink to tie into the base layer on the image.

Stitched right up

Good morning from a snowy Manchester.

Now what and who has been stitched up you may be saying. The Crafty Catz girls have. Yes our lovely Kim has picked a challenge that has got us all in stitches.

Show us your STITCHING- Real or Faux

yes we want see lots of stitching this week for our challenge.

So onto my card which I have used a image from our sponsor featuring this fab Panda.

Now all my sttitching is faux or embossed. The image has been coloured with promarkers then cut with a quickutz die. Papers are from stash. White card has been cut with one of my new stitched dies. Red wide grograin ribbon sentiment is a whimsey stamp. I have used a white pen to faux stitch round the heart and the Dp with hearts reminds me of cross stitch.

Well that is my inspiration hope you like and it has encouraged you to add some stitching and come and play along.

The image is 'Happy Valentines to Ewe' by Bugaboo Stamps

Not much colouring for this just a little shading and i covered up his black socks with the sentiment that came with the image.

Dp is from a Christmas paper pack I got a few years ago I loved it that much I bought a few and have used alot on projects coming up. I dont think it screams Christmas as the pattern is actually hreats. Satin ribbon from stash and a few black gems. The dies are Quickutz.

Good morning did you have a good weekend I do hope so well the week is well under way and today being Tuesday means it is time for a new challenge at Crafty Sentiments

So now you have seen the prize let me share with you my card using this fab stamp from our November release called Special Delivery and the post box is from one of the sets recently on sale at Create & Craft which is only available at Create & Craft till next month.

I have coloured the image with my promarkers. 

The hearts have had 3d gloss added but dont think it shows up. 

memory box butterfly and diecut heart from a friend. vellum envelope and diecut heart. 

Flower from hobby craft and lace & satin ribbon. Some tiny buttons for the flower centre.

A Gentle Touch for Teddies

Well hello there have you seen the fab cute challenge over at Crafty Catz this week. yes we have gone all cute and cuddly. It is Nicks turn to pick our theme and she would like to see Teddies.

I have used a stamp from our sponsor Imagine That! Digital Stamps. Coloured with my promarkers. Used my spellbinder scallop circle. I have used a square of pink card that had a circle cut from it so this is one of my items i recycled. I embossed the card with a folder free from crafters companion christmas mag. I have covered the card with some cellophane that has been recycled. The ribbon is also recycled. The sentiment is also from our sponsor. Backing paper is from stash.

Well I think I have used a fair amount of items that could have been placed in the bin. Now it is over to you to show us what you have found.

So let me share with you mine. I have gone with a Wedding Card using a Lili of the Valley stamp

My card is mainly white on white using a Create A card die think it is devore one of 3 I got from Create and Craft . I have used touches of dusky pink with Satin Ribbon and spellbinders nestie for matting some small dusky pink pearls and some tulle. Added some glitter on the brides vail.

Well thats my new beginning so lets see yours

Good morning hope you are well and ready for another challenge from CRAFT. This week before you put all that sparkle and Christmas papers away why not join us.
