Crafty Catz DT card - Tartan

Morning a quick one for me today as I have to get ready for 2 hospital aapointments and just had a phone call and my 1st one is 1hour earlier yuck so i have a longer wait for my 2nd. Well enough of my chatter and onto this weeks Crafty Catz challenge wow you did all enjoy Suzies flower challenge we had an amazing response. My card this week is another Sarah Kaye stamps I havent used this one for such a long time and she is a dream to colour. I used my Promarkers again. Flowers are from a punch and papermania button centres. Martha S leaf punch and border punch. Paper is Making Memories not the tradional colours but best I had.

Creative Inspirations #95 - Sketch DT card

Good afternoon sorry little late but been out house hunting. Anyway it is Wednesday so that means another challenge over at Creative Inspirations Wednesday blog. This week Nat has given us this fab sketch to play with. You can add embellishments and flip but as long as we can see the sketch. My card features another of Lili of the valley stamps which I have coloured with Promarkers. Sparkley flowers and buterfly from the pound shop which i have coloured to match. Papers are Basic Grey I think from my stash, framed with silver mirri card. Sentiment is a See D one from a very old set. I have added a narrow satin ribbon. Good Morning it is half through the week gosh February next week what happened to January did I sleep through it. Well Wednesday means another fab challenge over at Creative Inspirations and we have a fab theme of Buttons & Bows so another nice easy one.

Firstly sorry about the pictures the light was really bad and I took it at night not the best thing without a light box. I used this fab image from Lili of the valley and the layout is there's too. I coloured my image with Promarkers and the papers are from a freebie paper pack from a mag from last year. Flowers and buttons are from my stash. I have added some pearl hearts which fits into Total Paper Crafts theme of add a heart.

Kiss for Chole stamp by Sarah Kaye

Hi and thanks for popping by had some time to play yesterday and seraching for a forgotten stamp for Crafty Catz challenge last Friday I found a few stamps i hadnt used and this is one of them. It is a Sarah Kaye stamp called A Kiss for Chole. I used my promarkers and picked a colour combo from Truly Scrumptious. I have sent this to a friend who is feeling a little low at present and hopefully this will let her know how much she means to her friends.

Papers are Minds Eye I think. Flowers are from my stash along with the brown ribbon. Gems are papermania. Sentiment is a penny black from a Teddy Bear set. This fits a few challenges which I have listed below the pictures.

Well hello it is Friday and it is my turn to set the challenge at Crafty Catz. Well I sat and thought about all the lovely new stamps out there and how we all like to get new stamps but what about those we loved but didn't use for a good while so that it. A FORGOTTEN STAMP challenge. This leaves you to pick your occasion or layout so will fit with lots of challenges out there.

My card has been made with a Stampin Bella stamp Elaine kindly sent me but naughty me hadn't used it on a card although she has been coloured several times. Well good morning and this being Friday must be time for another challenge at Crafty Catz. This week it is Suzanne's turn to set the challenge and she has come up with the the theme "Thank You". Well I am sure we all received some nice presents that a thank you would be perfect for.

I picked this image of flowers which I always think make a great Thank You. Papers are from my stash and the green is a textured shimmer card stock which in the picture below you can see better. I coloured the image with promarkers and 3d the flower heads. Paper dollie was from a craft fayre. The central pink leaf is from my new M.S. Deep Punch. Few candy dots and touch of ribbon. The gold has a lovely embossed rose on it and the white is textured. Ribbon and flowers are bits I had left over from another project but thought they had a frosty look to them. Image coloured with my promarkers and 3d glossed.

Crafty Catz Challenge 64 -Food & Drink

Good morning and gosh another week gone. I see the children have returned to school and have you taken all your Christmas decorations down. I always think the house looks empty when they come down.

Well Friday means another challenge over at Crafty Catz and this is our 1st for 2011. We where given some images of cupcakes from Blackleaf Studios to play with and I teamed mine with one of my fave Tilda stamps. We would love to see cards with the theme of " FOOD & DRINK"

This week our prize is this fab set of stamps from Blackleaf Studios

I used a simple layout with miri board and lots of glitter. Coloured the cupcake and Tilda with my promarkers. Added some lovely ribbon from a friend. I added some 3d glaze to the cherry to give it a nice glossy finish. Papers are from my stash Papermania and I think the other is Making Memories.

More Christmas cards

Hope you are all having a good Sunday. Chris is at work and I have done my few jobs. I have to go to the hospital to see my surgeon tomorrow so hopefully he will be happy with my progress and give me some idea when my legs will reduce in size so i can get out and about again, that is if he is happy with my stomach.

Well enough of my chatter I made this card last week and forgot to post. Idea was from Creatives white theme as I enjoyed doing it that much made 2.

Lilli of the valley stamp coloured with promarkers. Cuttlebug embossing folder. Lace stuck down with double sided tape and then red glittered to stick to the expossed areas. Red sequins and flower.

Also I made this one with one of Mo's amazing images. Coloured with promarkers and te sentiment is one of Lili of the valleys stamps. Papers are from a pad from last year sorry not sure name.
