Crafty Catz Challenge94- Back to School

Oh gosh look at the time thought I had scheduled this but guess these senior moments are coming more and more. Lol. Well the sun has been shinning again and got all my washing done and a few walks with Buddy. Had to waiting for the electrican tonight he was coming after work but guess he had a senior moment to as when i phoned at 7 he said omg i forgot and came home on auto pilot. Coming dinner tomorrow fingers crossed.
Well as it is Friday that means another challenge over at Crafty Catz and this week we would like you to produce something to do with Back to School.

This allowed me to use some of my scrap papers and some cute little embellishments i had in my boxes. The sentiment is computer generated and i added a touch of twine to it.

Creative Inspirations DT Card- Lemonade

Good Wednesday Morning to you all and hope all is well in your world. Today sees another fab challenge over at Creative Inspirations and this week we would love to see you make your project useing the colours ONLY of LEMON & WHITE of course skin and hair colour is allowed.

My card I have used this fab Tilda doesnt she look adorable in Lemon. Thisnt a colour I normally colour in but must say do like her in it. No DP as I didnt have any the right colour. So I found a old papermania stamp and got the old embossing powder out to make my own, which I followed through to the inside as you will beable to see below.


Embossed some card with dots folder and added some papermania gems in the flower centres on the paper and a few gems on the flowers themselves. The sentiment came with the flower stamp.

Creative Inspirations#122 - A Sketch

Morning and gosh where are the weeks going it will be the end of summer at this rate. Hope you are all enjoying the school holidays. Well if you need to get rid of that stress then how about joining us in a challenge at Creative Inspirations. This week Nat has come up with another fab sketch (I do love her sketches). For my card I used a Lili of the valley stamp and used peach & green family to colour it. Coloured in my trustie Promarkers. Papers are Anna Griffin. Punch is a M.S doily round the page set. Some flowers with a few gems and my leaf punch. Satin ribbon to finish it off. The bow on the image has some stickles not sure if it shows up on the picture. The flowers are slightly less orange in real life so at least the reciprocant wont need sun glasses

New Member of the Family

I thought I would show you some pictures of our newest member to the family.

My son has always wanted a dog and yes I said dog not fox as people keep saying it looks like. His name is Buddy and is so far such a good natured thing and hardly ever barks unless he is playing but then it is more conversation. He is 4 1/2 months old and a shetland sheepdog will only stand about a 18inches tall. My froends think i am mad and I totally agree and soft as i kept saying No but he skips backwards when he gets excited and i just caved in.

Hope he is as good tonight as last night and i get a full nights sleep again. So if I dont get round to much blogging I apolise but i need a cuddle.

Crafty Catz #92 - NO Pink or Blue

I picked this fab image with these lovely flowers and used yellows i thought it would make a lovely card to send to someone to let them know that I was thinking of them. So this is winging it's way to a friend who is going through a difficult time. Hope she likes. Coloured with promarkers and used papermania capsule papers & ribbon. Used a few gems but kept fairly simple.

Good evening a little late for posting this thought I had done it but a senior moment had arisen and I had dreamt it. Well guess better late than never and my apologies.

Ok now for my card after our brain storming session and some idea's of different countries and what traditions they have. I found this digi stamp from PC Crafter with the North Pole on it well it is the other side of the world. i was looking for a digi of Santa flying round the world.

Glue or Tape

Good afternoon folks have a question for you. Do you use glue or tape to stick your card & DP together. I use double sided tape did get from papermil there own and was great price but sadly closed now and rapidly running out. I cant believe how much i use. Have used anita's glue but tend to ruin the paper.
So any tips or idea's are welcome.

A Card I didnt want to make

This is a card I made for Liz G's family some of you may know her if you are a docrafter. I was shocked to hear of her sad and sudden passing and although I generally don't make these i couldn't not send my condolences. The sentiment is a stamp I received this weekend from Laney and it just was the most perfect sentiment for this.

Crafty Catz challenge 91 Tags

Good Evening I have some bad news and some good to share with you all.
Well lets get the Bad out of the way first and hopefully the good will cheer you all up. The lovely Dawn has decided to step down from her postion on Crafty Catz and although she hasnt been with us long she will be missed and we wish her all the best. She is my twin as we both share the same birthday so i will be extra sorry to see her go but hopefully she will not be a stranger.

Creative Inspiration #120 - No Flowers

Good morning hope you are all enjoying the week half way through not long to weekend now. Today is the infants sports day at the local school so I will be going to cheer on my nephew.


Well as it is Wednesday it is time for another challenge at Creative Inspiration and this week we would love to see what you come up with as long as there are NO FLOWERS yes you read correctly so put them yummy flowers away and find some other embellishments.

Now for my card I decided to try something a little different in that I thought NO Flowers lets make it Clean & Simple. I used a Digi image from Bugaboo just love these they make me smile. The sentiment is a lot of my friends down to a Tee.

Brown shades used to tie in with the Chocolate theme and of course the lady has to have nice Pink lips. Image coloured with Promarkers and and the clouds are also done with sparkly chalks. Gold candy dots and the paper is from a Christmas pad with really lovely gold stripes. Nice coffee colour satin ribbon to finish. The inside has been decorated to co ordinate.

Harry Potters Replacement

Good evening hope you all have had a fab weekend and those of you that are Harry fans are not too sad that this is his last film. Well maybe my little fellow here could be the next Harry. This is another of my birthday stamps wasn't I lucky. Of course it is a Lili of the Valley and the layout is their latest challenge. I have coloured with my promarkers and then 3d glossed. DP is K&Co Sparkly Sweet. Lots of mirri card and the Black circle is a fabric paper which has the most amazing sparkle.Sentiment is also Lili of the Valley. Black gems to finish. The stars are done with a Quickutz die. I have done the side with the same papers to coordinate.

Good morning gosh what happened to that week it will soon be Christmas at this rate. Well the sun is trying it's best to peep through the dark clouds hope it does have a walk to post office to do and hate the rain.

Creative Inspirations - Lets go to the Beach

For this challenge I dug deep and found this cute Tilda sat relaxing in her rubber ring. Papers are Basic Grey & the blue is a wet look glitter card which i punched with a large M.S punch. Image coloured with promarkers. Please dont laugh at my attempt at a beach and sky. Few fibres from my stash, Gems and a charm. I decorated the inside to compliment the front.

Time to Celebrate

Wow this is my 2nd post today not something I do often. Son not too good sickness etc so making the post of being up stairs to keep an eye on. Gosh think the older they are the worse they are. Think that will teach him to eat crayfish butties on a hot sticky day instead of his mum's chicken butties.

Well 1stly sorry about picture it has gone very dull here and light is bad the colours are much brighter but then i was going for a subtle card with simple less is more.

The card is for the Lili Of The Valley challenge Celebration and as this is one of my new stamps along with the sentiment set I thought I should play.

Coloured with Promarkers and ballons 3d to stand out. Papers from a fab pack with no name sorry. Flowers done with a punch and some viva pearl for the centres . M.S punch for the boarder.

Hello Birthday Boy

Good afternoon hope you are all well my card today has a MO MANNING image on it. How saucy is this. Well it is for a good friends partners husband later on this month but really do need to get some of them done early. Bought this image ages ago but with printer problems only just now got to use it.
