Candle Light Halloween plus GDT call at Crafty Catz

Happy Friday I am here with my CRAFTY CATZ dt creation and this week it is my turn to set the theme. Well as 31st October is approaching fast I have picked Halloween. i just love all the children getting so excited and high dressed up and eating far too much sweets. It usually takes the weekend for them to come back down from the sugar rush.

I decided to dress up this little tea light holder. i have sprayed a piece of card with inks for the back if you look closely you will see that i have stamped a witch and some bats and a spider on it. I have added lots of cheesecloth and the image is from Crafty Sentiments. I have coloured it with my promarkers and added some bats ghosts and spiders the outside. Here is a few pictures of it lit and unlit.

A Purrrrrrrfect Means of Transport - Craft DT Card

Good morning gosh the weather is getting colder and it says much colder tonight guess we have done well here in Uk as it is mid October. Well as it is October what better than at Craft to celebrate Autumn with a Halloween , Thanks giving or just Autumn. So with that here is my DT card for you it is a Halloween one with an image from one of our sponsors.

Now A Close Up Of The Image Coloured With My Promarkers

I have used Dp from a new First Edition Christmas pad it has the most fab papers in it foiled and glittered. .The ones i have used have very muted tones so has not taken away from the image. i have added lots of glitter around the image not sure if you can see on the picture.Some Silver mirri Card.  the white snowflakes are foam glittered and the silver snowfalkes are a lovely Joy boarder die I won. used some Seam binding from Crafty Ribbons and some thin silver blue organisa ribbon with a large gem button in the centre of the large snowflake also from Crafty Ribbons. Silver merry christmas to finish off. The layout is from a sketch at Sketch n stash I do love there sketches it makes life so much easier for me.

Well a Happy Tuesday to you all the rain has stopped and have made my tea for tonight so just needs cooking nothing special but my son likes my homemade Burgers and my nephew fancied trying so he is stopping for tea. have you entered my candy just 2 more days left and if you answer the question you get entered into the 2nd draw.

So now onto my make. I had to make some little gifts for friends and also a charity night and decided what do people use or would use. So I have made some little list and note books. i am afraid in the rush for the charity night i forgot to take a picture and just had these two which have gone to friends.

This little cutie looks like she has had a wonderful time shopping and is called Oh lets shop and can be found in the shop here. I have used some ribbon from stash gems from Meiflower and scraps of Dp to cover my notebook which i got from a local supermarket. the image is coloured with my promarkers andis cut out with a Xcut oval die and backed with a sizzix thinlet die.

My 2nd one is more of a list book but there is no rules and i made Carol who celebrated her birthday at the weekend to go with another little present. She is called Teenaged fashion and you can find her in the shop HERE

Once again coloured with promarkers and used some seam binding from crafty Ribbons and some pearls from Meiflower and Dp is from Stash.

Well hope you like my little gifts they went down well at the charity night and raised a little money for a good cause. Think I will be making a few more of these.

Easy Peasy ANYTHING GOES at Crafty Catz

Good morning are you well hope so. Have a little sore throat now omg that boy of mine likes to share his bugs but on the whole I am fine and yippee it is Friday. So now it is my turn to show you what I have made and no card today just a little jotter for notes and lists. I have used a image from our sponsor. I picked this image because if you are like me I like a cuppa when I am making lists so thought this was apt for the cover.

I have coloured the image with my promarkers and used 3d gloss on the cups. Card from the papermill and some seem binding from crafty Ribbons. few candy dots coloured to co ordinate with the image. I have used my Martha Stuart punch on the top. I really enjoyed making this and think you might see a few more of these. Good evening have you had a good day. I have been busy doing my DT Duties but have had time to play with a New Digi image from CRAFTY SENTIMENTS called WITCHY RIDES you can find it in the shop this week at a special price of 99p. Yes what a great price.

Oh isnt Harriet sweet in her halloween costume. I think she is training to be a great witch. So onto my version of this fab digi

Image is coloured with my promarkers and the background is coloured with chalk and has a lovely shimmer but the camera doesnt pick it up. Few bats part of a waltzing stamp ser stamped onto it. Purple satin ribbon and Dp is from a old papermania pad.Some Black glitter card to give it some sparkle and her hat and boots have been 3d glossed,

ORIGAMI DIAMOND FOLD CARD - WHY NOT SWING

Good morning hope you are all well I have been a little out of sorts this weekend so forgive me if i havent visited you i have been trying to stay off the computer to help. 

However I have to show this amazing fold for a card I came across at Splitcoast stampers. As you will be aware I am guesting for a while at CRAFTY SENTIMENTS and boy am I enjoying it. The stamps we are given to work with are just a dream  and the team are so friendly and the lovely Suzette is just the best. 

Well each month we have a stamp release and i was given a secret stamp no one knew except Jan our lovely leader and we where asked to make something other than a card unless it was a fancy fold one. 

Today is my day to début my stamp and it is this gorgeous little girl on a swing called

Well the card I am sharing with you is called a ORIGAMI DIAMOND FOLD CARD

and although it may look complicated it really isnt and I think i will be making a fair few of these.

1 tip though do not use card for the base and do not use very thick paper a good weight but not too stiff.

Good morning hope you all have a good weekend. I went to my nieces 21st birthday party which was cocktails. Lol. Good job Chris drove think the nice policeman  near us would have been saying hello. Yes i do remember coming home and walking in a straight line but definitely over the driving limit.

A nice simple design but just makes the giving of money that little special. I used Twinkle Fairy which you can find here. I coloured with my promarkers and the Dp is from the Fairy Tale paper pack.

Lots of glitter on the wings some Pink Scrim and Pearls plus some lovely Organza ribbon from Mei Flower Crafts. Some pearl pink card to back the DP.

Well a nice little project sorry the picture are poor didnt realise i hadnt taken a picture till we where just leaving the house.

DECOUPAGE at CRAFTY CATZ

Good morning have you seen that we have a new challenge at CRAFTY CATZ and it is

 DECOUPAGE.

Now this was my 1st love when I started card making and I must say haven't done for ages it was something i could do while sat with the family cutting all the pieces out to assemble later with my glue. i cant use the pads i never get them in line. Now as we know Decoupage is a image cut out several times the sections are cut out and placed on top of one of the image to give a 3d image.

Our sponsor for this weeks challenge is

For my card I made a get well card I think with winter coming on I will need one and a stock one is always handy. I dont think people plan illness do you.

The image is one I had on my computer sorry not sure where it came from and I printed it on photo paper.

Stamp Release Sneak Peep 2 - Witches Broom

Good morning weekend approaches and so does the new release from CRAFTY SENTIMENTS not long now till general release of 15 new stamps just 2 more sleeps. They will all be available in the shop on the 22nd. But today I am here to give you a sneak peep of another fab stamp. She is called Witches Broom.Oh couldnt wait to play with her and decided I had to make something other than a card . So off I went to find a Brown paper lunch bag and time to make a treat bag. Be warned this is a little picture heavy

Omg did i get inky fingers with this. The background I made wit distressed inks and illusion spray ink and some gold glimmer mist. Image is coloured with my promarkers. The background is stamped with a stamp set from Waltzing mouse Halloween party set,  I have added cheesecloth which i have inked, spiders. Punched  cat and bat and ghosts are all from a Mcgill punch. added some raffia to the handles.
