Panel is embossed with a fiskers plate, Marianne die, lace with some real stitching on, DP , flowers and ribbon from stash all must be at least 3 years old.

Fancy a Colour Challenge

Good evening i am here tonight to share my DT card for CRAFT and this week we have a fab colour challenge for you

So now onto my card I have used a image from Pickled Potpourri called Deer Ole Dad

I would say that this image could be for any occassion Fathers Day, Birthday and even Christmas. I love the play on words with the sentiment. I think he might be getting this for father's day

I kept the layout very simple. Coloured my image with promarkers and cut out matted onto 2 scalloped circled with the green one having been embossed with a fiskers plate. The backing card is a cream pearlised card and i inked the embossing plate with some distressed inks and embossed. It has coloured the embossing and is simular to letter pressing. I kind of like how it has come out. Added some bread and 3 buttons with twine and added the sentiment from the stamps.

Good day from a rather yuck day in Manchester. Come on folks it is JUNE what happened to summer. My boiler is bust and I need some heat. They say from Thursday we might get some. I do hope so. OK well it is getting near to end of school year here in UK and I know that it is in other places. So this weeks theme at CRAFTY SENTIMENTS set by Celine is just the perfect one.

TEACHERS

 so lets get cracking making things for our childrens teachers. Could be a thank you card a birthday card or just a well done card. It could even be a present. What ever we would love for you to share with us. So dont be shy you could win this fab prize 

So let me share with you what I made. I have made a card and the badge is what the children receive if they attend for the full term without any absences.

The stamp is actually called Back to School and you can find it in the store.

I have coloured with promarkers and used colours of his uniform and he has a RED bag. The DP is from a download at The Paper Shelter. Computer generated sentiments and paper clips from my stash.

So now let me share with you a card I made using a stamp from 

STAMPS ON FIRE called  Barn Stable.

I have used Distressed inks and memento inks to make the background and coloured the stamp with promarkers. DP is from a very old pad. Some twine and a fence die from Crafty Sentiments. The Happy Birthday is a Docraft wooden stamp. Some pearls from Mei flower crafts to finish.

Well a little different for me hope you like. I admire all the cards made with these inks in blog land and one day will get to produce something like them. Hopefully I am slowly getting there.

Sweet Pea Stamps - Steampunk Old Lady by Sandra Caldwell

Wow another post from me today. I recently joined in the progressive challenge at Sweetpea stamps on facebook and we where sent this image.  Steampunk Old Lady by Sandra Caldwell.

Ok maybe not everyones cup of tea and to be truthful not sure if I fancied. Now dont get me wrong i love abit of Steam Punk but was really stuck with the old OMG what an I to do with this.

So very late last night early hours of the morning I got to work colouring and messing with gliding wax. 

What do you think. I quite like her now. 

 This could be me going out with my hat on. Lol. Yes ????

Lace and feather broach and metal flowers from stash.

Spring Time with April Daisy - Crafty Catz DT Card

Good afternoon well the sun is trying its best to say hello. Gosh when are we getting some summer the children will be breaking up for the long holiday soon.

Well I am here to share with you my DT card for Crafty Catz which is sponsored by

SPRING TIME

For my card I have used an image called April - Daisy from our sponsor.

 I have used my Promarkers to colour her.

All DP is from a oddments box yet again. Embossed my base card with a Couture creations folder- Grand Jo Jo. Lace and Ribbon from stash. Flowers have been made with a punch and raspbury memento ink and some liquid Pearls added to make some lovely pearl centres. 

A fairly CAS card with clean lines. Was fairly pleased with how this turned out. What do you think leave me a comment I love to read them. Do you like. Do you think i captured the Spring Feel with the Daisies. I can see me using this at Christmas with looks of glitter and the daisies turning to Michaelmas Daisies.
