Polkadoodles Challenge- MORE THAN ONE FOLD

Good morning well i am here today with my Polkadoodles DT card for you.

We have a fab fun challenge for this fortnight which is

MORE THAN ONE FOLD

You can make anything you like as long as it follows the theme and you dont have to use one of our images although we would love you to.

So what have I made.

A Graduation card

 For my card I have made a Standing Springy card this has 5 folds and is made from an A4 sheet of card. I have used the awesome Twiggy & Toots Cd which you can purchase as a CD or Download. It is also available in parts. I have used a digi coloured with promarkers. All the papers and elements are from the same CD. 

I coloured the image and fussy cut him out along with all the elements. Matted the paper onto the base card. Added Frame19 cut out and placed my image. The sentiment is Sentiment 13 with elements of the leaves placed onto it and fussy cut. I cut another set of leaves to place on the top of the frame. Fussy cut the sentiment Wisdom. Made a cetificate roll and a Tassel. Added some twine and jobs done

If you fancy having ago with this templete here is a rough drawn templete which I used. One tip dont use very thick card as with all the folds it doesnt like to close.

My card features an image from Oddball Art called Book worm 24a/b

I have coloured the image with my promarkers. Sentiments are computer generated.

Cheery lyn Boarder die. Cuttlebug Dots and Spots folder. Dp I think is Echo Park.

Polkadoodles Challenge - 2 or More Design Papers

Well today i am here with some exciting news.

 I have recently been doing a GDT spot for Polkadoodles Challenge Blog. 

Well Nikky has kindly asked me to stay on so this is my first post officially as a Polkadoodles DT. 

 OMG I am so loving these images. Nikky Hall is one talented lady .

Good morning I am so trilled to be bring you this post as GDT of Digi Chooseday. I saw the post saying they where looking for GDT's so through my hat in the mix and yaaaaaaah as they say you have to be in it to win it. I got asked to be their 1st GDT. So what is the challenge this week.

ALL ABOUT THE GIRLS

yes we would love you to produce something with a digital image to do with GIRLS

and to help you make something with a Polkadoodles image we have a special code for you over at the blog to use in store. But be quick as this last only for a very short time. While you are there check the amazing prize.

So what did I make for your inspiration.

A fab little backpack to go with my card, this is featuring the fabulous

Oddella with bag - Ickyink Art and Twigg and Toots papers

The bag is from a tutorial over at Splitcaost stampers and the DP is from Twiggy and Toots which you can either purchase either the whole collection or just the papers here. 

I have also used some eyelets and ribbon and a tattered lace heart for the bag.

The card I have used Odella with bag which you can purchase from the shop here dont forget your discount over at the challenge blog. I have coloured her with my promarkers and spectrum noirs.

Dp ais the same as the bag and the flowers are rolled up roses made with the same DP. 

The sentiment and frame for this is also from Twiggy and Toots.

Finished off with embellishments of ribbon,, lace, doily and viva pearls from stash. 

The diecut is a tonic,

So now let me share with you my card which I have made for my Cousin. My uncle will be layed to rest on Wednesday

The stamp I have used is from Lost Coast Designs and is in the background section of their shop.

 This 2nd picture shows the glitter I have placed on the stamped image.

A simple card using various inks to colour the background then stamping the image. 

Added stickles to the stamped image to help it pop. This has a lovely effect in the light.

Matted onto black, silver and blue card with some Black Organsa Ribbon to finish.

the sentiment is from a old stamp set by Anna Griffin.
