Final Challenge of 2015 Anything Goes at Polkadoodles

Good morning just the one post for me today. 

Today is the start of a new challenge and our last one for 2015 at Polkadoodles.

We are making it easy for you to join us as our challenge is

ANYTHING GOES

So what I have I for you

Wow well the mad rush is on for the big day and if you are like me still trying to get some last minute cards done. Also gosh the price of posting. 

Well to solve both what better way than to use Work & Play Festive Hollybobs.

I have used all pre coloured embellishments and 3 papers and layered them all up in Word. 

This solves the extra weight and thickness as you print as 1 sheet. 

I just added a couple of thin gems some fluffy stuff, glitter and twine and hey presto. 1 quick and cost effective card which I can print time and time again. 

You can get Festive Hollybobs as a download here if you fancy doing some quick projects. On top of this these are just the embellishments wait till you see the Characters.

Well hope you like my card and it has given you a idea for quick and effective cards.

Christmas Wallet form Anything Goes at Digi Choosday

Happy Tuesday to you all and today is the last challenge of the year at Digi Choosday. To make life easy and so you can all join us our challenge is 

ANYTHING GOES

For my project I have done a Money wallet or a gift card wallet. I am sure we all have some of these to give out.

 I have used Festive Hollybobs download available here.

I have printed the envelope template and matching paper added the pre coloured image to both. I matted the panel on the card with some mirri card and added a paper poinsettia to the top corner.

A nice easy and quick project which I am sure we all need at this busy time. Love this download like all Nikky cds there are loads of items that make our life soo much easier.

Well thats my little project and I am looking forward to seeing what you add to Mr Linky.

Old St Nic Sparkles & Shines at Crafty Catz

Good morning wow nearly time for Old St Nic to come calling. 

Talking of St Nic over at Crafty Catz this week we have Sparkle & Shine as our theme and I have used a old stamp with St Nic on.

Lots of glitter and a close up of the stamp hopefully you can see it

Now this stamp a few years ago was the hottest thing going and it was going for silly money on ebay.

The stamp is by Rubber Stamped called Santa Collage.

Keeping It Traditional at Polkadoodles

Good morning well nearly time for the Big Man to come visiting. Have you been good or Naughty.

Well this week at Polkadoodles we would like you to share your 

TRADITIONAL Christmas Cards and projects

Now for my card I have used a fab CD/download from The Work & Play collection call Festive Hollybobs and you can find it in the store HERE. 

 This one shows the layers

I have gone with lots of Pre Coloured Embellishments and layered them up to create this scene. Just got to  love pre coloured images so close to the big day. Love that they are PNG so are so easy to use in Word as I did. I printed 3 of the Reindeer and layered for a 3D effect. The backing Paper is from Octavia Frosted Winter. Lots of glitter gems fluffy stuff and paint added to finish my card.

Well that my Traditional card and here is some food that you putt out on Christmas Eve to get them to stop. It is what the little ones put out every year 

it is made with oats and glitter and has a little verse.

Bugaboo called  'Kidz Christmas Boy and his Dog'

This is going to be for a little boy who loves to play with my dog and it just reminds me of them.

Sign was made with a stirring stick you get with your coffee. Lots of glitter on the hat but is camera shy. glitter card for the Memory Box die.

Christmas Decor at Digi Choosday

Good morning and another week nearer to Christmas so this week at DIGI CHOOSDAY we are challenging you to share with us a Christmas Decor that you have made.

Well I love making Candles for relatives and friends for Christmas. So this is my Decoration. I have used both the image and the sentiment from our very popular CD/ Download. Octivia Frosted Winter. available HERE at what i can only describe as a steal. 

I printed the images onto Tissue paper then you fussy cut out and stick to the candle wrap in wax paper and gently heat with a heat gun to melt the top wax as soon as you see the image showing through stop and peel gently. Then i added some stars and lots of glitter and a ribbon round the bottom. I would remove the ribbon if I was going to light it and place on a large base and not leave it lit unattended.

Well have you made any candles yet if not why not have a go they are very easy.
