Good morning I am here today to share with you my DT card for CRAFT and this was a real challenge for me. Took me out of my comfort zone. We have a Picture Inspiration Challenge.

We have some very generous sponsors again this week
I cut a scallop circle and then cut into the middle so i could make into a cone shape I had previously put it through a ribbler and sprayed it with dylussions blue ink. I punched some fern leaves and glued to the shell. Added some lace to some navy card die punched with a scallop M.S punch and placed onto a card that had been embossed with a fiskers wave plate then chalked. The flowers are from Wild orchid crafts. I used some Cheese cloth to give the effect of a fishing net. The image has been coloured with promarkers and this is the first time i have coloured skin this colour hope you like. I wasnt sure how it would turn out when I started but am fairly pleased with the finish result.

Oh wow, Sue this is stunning. What a clever idea to use the scalloped circle as a shell and all your detailing is fab. That mermaid looks amazing enhanced by your fabulous colouring.
