Craft challenge #424 - Thanks You (teacher)

Morning and another Thursday brings a new challenge at CRAFT

Here in the Uk we are getting ready for the big summer holidays so this weeks challenge is

I have used a image from Scrappers delights a wise old owl for my nephews teacher

Coloured the image with promarkers and kept the design simple.
Background is done with inks and chalk.
No DP this time just some black card embossed then rubbed some gliding wax over.
Added some hessian and a Thank you Diecut.
This is for a Male teachers so wanted to keep it simple.
Hope you like and mostly hope his teacher does.

Fantasy Challenge at CRAFT

Good morning and time for a new challenge at CRAFT.

This weeks challenge is Fantasy

So lets see what you come up with I am expecting lots of Fairies.

So before you head on over to the challenge blog to checkout the amazing samples here is my card using this amazing image from Scrappers Delight called Moonlight Serenade

Image has been coloured with promarkers and the background has been done with ink and chalk. 

The edges of the image has been embossed with embossing powder.

 I have also used the same powder on the diecut wording and also the chipboard which was part of my birthday present from a dear friend. 

Wild orchid flowers tinted with Distressed ink and glittered embossing powder heated onto them for a vintage feel. Lace from stash and pearls and gems.

DP is papermania and glitter card

Hope you like wasnt sure what sentiment to add so just added wonderful as he looks like that is how he feels.

We where allowed to pick an image to play with and I couldnt resist this little fairy called Luna1 which you can find in the store here

I have used 3 papers from my stash a mixture of freebies from mags and some from a garden centre .

Image coloured with promarkers.

The black butterfly has been stamped onto acetate and heat embossed then cut out. 

Dies are Cheerylyn and Joanna Sheen. 

The tiny butterflies are waste from a tonic punch 

gems and pearls.

I have coloured my image with my new Lyra Remembt Polycolor pencils.

The Dp is from a very old pad with no cover but think my be papermania or dovecraft 

Matted onto some Glitter card..

You Brighten My Day GDT

Good afternoon hope you are well gosh this rain is starting to get me down though we where getting a indian summer. I now have a bad cold which is driving me mad have you tried colouring with a tissue strapped to your nose.

Well to day I have a card to share with you made using one of the fab images from Scrappers Delight called Rainy Days Digi3 you can find it heregosh you get soo much for your bucks at her shop. As you made have read I am a GDT for the last last month and we got to pick a image and I picked this cutie The layout came from Janice too. They have a challenge running so pop over and try it out and they are show casing some fab vintage designs. HERE

I have coloured the image with my promarkers and yes she had to have a red raincoat. Looks like she is enjoying splashing in the puddle which I have used 3d gloss on. The rain drops are liquid pearls. Few rec gems and some ribbon from Mei flower. DP is papermania. The sentiment comes with the image so great value and reads Sent to brighten your day.

Oh my goodies and Scrappers Delight GDT - Birthday

Good evening well I was very tempted to go back to the craft fayre again today bt think 2 months on beans on toast and i will have no friends left. So I have been very good and went to the range with a friend who had never been naughty me she doesnt craft but oh she loves mirrors and flowers and all the ornaments, well she now has a wish list for when she moves in a few weeks for her new home. Silly girl lives over the road 5 doors down and is moving next door to me. So I left the range with some mirri card and some blank cards which where £2 cheaper than the craft fayre well would be rude not to buy something. I have been asked for a pictureof my goodies so here it is

Well wasnt bad as I only needed the tape and some pink glitter.

Well before I send you to sleep I would like to share with you my GDT card for Scrappers delights if havent checked out the blog I would say what you waiting for wel worth the trip and such good value for money. Today it is Janice's turn to host and she has picked BIRTHDAYS as it will be her birthday on the 2nd September so pop over and show some love. You dont have to use a Scrappers Delight image to enter but would love to see them if you have some.

Today I used Honey she is one of the images in the set for my Birthday card and coloured her with my promarkersmkept it very simple to show off the fab image

Used my cherry lynn flourish and a silk flower with some satin ribbon from Mia flower crafts. Brad to match the ribbon. Cuttlebug birthday embossing flower. Die cut flower below the paper flower in the top corner and a Happy Birthday sentiment. DP is from that massive pad from docrafts i have had far to long but thought the dark background set the image off.

Back To School Colour Combo at Scrappers Delight

Good afternoon this is my Guest DT card I made for Scrappers Delight  and it is a fab colour combo and  the theme this fortnight is BACK TO SCHOOL you must use the following colours.

so dig out those school images and if you fancy some great new ones you cant go far wrong than Scrappers Delights wow you get so much for you pennies. Checkout the teams creations for inspiration and  example of these great images.

I used this cute school girl and added a die cut I had from Accut.

Coloured with Promarkers and dont you just love those socks.Chalked rounded the image in blue. Dp is papermania. Gingham ribbon from stash. Sentiment is from a back to school sheet. Card for mounting is from Paper Mill. Black gem for the wheel hub on the bus.

Scrapper's Delight Paper

Hello back way back in the beginning of July Janis from Scrappers Delight asked me to be a Guest for her blog and products for August. How nice was that she had seen a crd I did with Draco the dragon and liked it. Well she sent me a fab image part of a set called Pixie's Corner Digi set to play with. You can find it here they are such good value and if you havent had a peep I would definitely say go look.
They have a sketch challenge running for the next 2 weeks so still plenty of time and you dont have to use her image but if you do you can enter twice and we would love to see you using a image.

So onto my card using one of the images and the above sketch.

i have used my promarkers to colour the image and added some glitter to the wings. Used a spellbinder die for the image mount. A MemoryBox die for the corner, M.S. Punch for the strip behind a sparkly ribbon from  the papermill. Sentiment is a freebie from a mag. Flower and button from Stash and DP is from a neglected pad I have had forever. i stitched the layers of card and DP paper together only a second outing for my little sewing machine.. Father's Day at CRAFT

Good evening looks like we are in for a good soaking tomorrow according to the weather forecast good job I cleared my washing a few days ago.
