Truly Scrumptious Challenge Entry

Michele over on the Truly Scrumptious challenge blog has sketched this layout and theme is "A Childs Card". This was perfect timing as I had to make my friends son a birthday card.


This is my entry used lots of papers from my stash bits and bobs with a base card of White and the main paper from Papermainia. The image is from the Pink Gem Collection that Janet drew. Love this image.

1 Card 2 challenges

The colour theme for the Pollycraft Design Monday Challenge is Orange and you must use one of their products. Well just got this fab stamp from the Serbert Range and just had to play. The layout is from the Friday Sketcher Challange set by Jacqueline




Papers are basic grey, swirl is from a friend, flowers are from papermania gems, Image is Serbert secerts. Sentiment is from the Serbert Love notes. Ribbon from stash and round gems from stash

Whiff of Joy & Colour Create Challenge Card

This is the sketch that Katherina from the Whiff of Joy challenge blog has come up with and the rule is you must use 1 of their stamps. Well i have been kindly given this image that is at the top of my wish list.
Colour Create Challenge is the colours Chocolate, Beige and Cream

Papers are Papermainia. Oval hand cut with my decorative scissors. Water coloured with W H Smith Pencils one day will get some copics when i can stop buying stamps. lol Flowers and gems from my stash. Gold peel off for the sentiment

Creative Challenge Entry

Made this with all the lovely things my easter bunnies sent me. The oval is a bronze with a hint of green so goes nicely with the backing paper.

Manchester meet challenge card plus 2 others

Challenge No 1 to make a springy card in the theme of a mans card. Must have 1 sheet of backing paper, 2 brads brown or black, diecut.

Also had to make another male card so used 1 of my new stamps from the calire curd designs. 2 buttons for the fish and sign post. Backing paper and paper for his pants are basic grey. Silver thread for the fishing line.

Also made this card i know it isnt a male card but had the image and just had enough time to do.Paper is basic grey again. Papermainia swirl flower in the corners from my easter bunny parcel. Black satin ribbon. Touch of red paper to mat the image. Image is coloured with pink watercolour for skin and silver sukura glitter pen to highlight the dress. The black is then 3d glossed but picture doesnt show well.

Manchester Craft Meet Tomorrow

Well off to warrington to meet the girls from D C forum again. Wow that month went so quick. Theme this week is mens cards so should be interesting as i dont do enough of them. Have a few male birthdays coming up so hopefully might get 1 done. Tomorrow is our 1st lucky dip so wonder what i will get. Set a limit of appox £2 so it is just abit of fun. Think we might even be discussing our new name so will see what we come up with.
Going to view 2 houses 1st so must be up nice and early so will sign off and hope the sun shines on you all tomorrow. Bye for now.

Another Tilda

Tilda watercoloured with wh smith pencils and a touch of sukura green glitter pen for her jumper. Papers are a mixture of basic grey and papermania. Green ribbon from stash and flowers handmade in cream and some sequins.

Watercoloured with W H Smith pencils and adde a touch of sukura blue glitter pen for the ribbons in her hair

Truly Scrumptious Challenge

This is my entry for the truly scrumptious challenge.

Stamp is from Polly Craft design one of the lovely Serbert stamps.

Paper is from Papermaina. Pale blue ribbon, Pink circles. Centre circle is hand cut with decorative sisscors. Plastic pink flowers with blue gem centres. Sentiment is from another of the serbert stamps love notes.

New Stamps Arrived

Oh my new Pollycraft stamps arrived today. I blame Kerry for sending me the image in the swop but i am glad she did. They stamp so lovely and cant wait to play.

D C forum ABC Challenge

Well this week the letter is T and the challenge is Time. Thought hard about this and didnt want to do a clock or watch so have come up with a play on words.

"Once apon a TIME" Goldilocks and the three bears decoupage.

Wow my lucky day

Just got email from local reporter have won family tickets to the travelling circus. So my son and 2 nephews will be off this monday. Love the circus.

Tilda in Nautical colours. 2 flowers, 2 button, ribbon, sentiment and 1 patterned paper. Ok i forgot and did 2 papers. Card all cut by hand dont have any nesties yet too buy buying stamps. lol

Busy Day

Truely Scrumptious challenge

Well we where given this layout and what a great layout too. Told it had to have bling and shine so this is my entry hope you like

Ingredients

basic grey papers,

image from kind DC member with I watercoloured and then glossed to give extra shine with anita's 3d gloss

flower sat in mulbury paper and then gem and glitter added

sentiment from a free stamp from a mag

Lace is purely glitter. ( doublesided paper. Lace stuck down blue glitter added then lace removed fllowed by white glitter)

gems added to 4 corners of card

beige stain ribbon to finish off.

Hope this fits the bill and i have added enough bling and glitter

Flippin Brother's Birthday

Well it was my brother's birthday on the 19th and when i saw this how could i not make him it espically as he loves walking. Sorry the pictures where from my phone as i gave it him and forgot to take pictures. The back gound picture is a picture of the lake district i got from google. He isnt keen on dogs so left the dog off it. Just added a few peel offs and bob's your uncle.

Morning from Sunny Manchester

Well the sun is shinning and i have lots to do in doors so at least i can see it through the window. Did you all remember to put your clocks forward. Will be back later with some cards i have done just waiting for the gloss to dry. Hope you all enjoy your day whatever you are doing.

Been Asked to host the D C Tilda Challenge

The D C Forum card making hold a Tilda Challenge on a weekly basis. This week Dianne (Crazy Crafter) has asked me to do it.

As this weekend it is the start of British Summer Time and the clocks go forward. I have set it as No Theme but with the following conditions

No Winter Tildas unless that is all you have.

2 pieces of patterned paper

At least 1 flower

3 gems or brads

Also the colour green or yellow must be included somewhere.

Retro Tilda

Over on the DC forum we have a weekly challenge and this week
set by Dianne is Retro Tilda. Well I looked for some papers and found this paper from PC Crafter. So I layered the Gas Pump and the bike and case from the same collection to create a 50's feel. Added a piece of ribbon gathered as a skirt and sat her on the case. Retro Chic Chip Board sign came from another docrafter.

Golden Wedding Anniversary

Well I was asked to make a special anniversary card for friends mother in law. She likes decoupage so i came up with this. Cream pearlised card and gold shiney mirri card. Cuttlebuged a layer of the gold and added a sheer gold ribbon with gold flexs down the centre. Diecut 2 glasses as this was all the brief required some glasses and a nice verse.

Hope it isnt too plain.

Happy Mothers Day

Well I would just like to wish all you mothers out there a happy day. Also for those that dont have children hope you have a good day thinking of your mum.
