Creative Inspirations #26 Sketch with Brads / Eyelets

Well afternoon all you lovely people. The sun is shining here in Manchester and my son is on his way home for the weekend so what more can i ask for. Well enough of my chat i have to apoligise i forgot to post my DT card yesterday usually shedule it but time was very limited. Well this week we have this fab sketch by Nat she comes up with some stunners. The them is brads/ eyelets so use any image your fave or a new one.

Did this card the other day and posted on docrafts and forgot to add it here. Senior moment. Lol.

I used my promarkers again and a penny black stamp i got last year. papers are also from last years stash have so much of it that am sure you will be fed up of seeing. Flowers are from the market. I did this for the docrafts penny black challenge a colour theme and was going to enter this in the the Winter Wonderland who has the theme snowmen but just realise the sketch isnt quite right oh well never mind.

Penny Black Favorite Time card and tag

This is my entry for the Penny Black Saturday challenge blog havent done one of these for a while and fancied the christmas theme. This is one of my new stamps so had to have a play. Also over on docrafts the penny black challenge was red, white and blue card and tag so this is what inspired my colours. Hope you like. I used the papers to decorate the inside and my nestie the sentiment inside is from a old docraft set of stamps. Hope you like.

Hi this is my Dt card for Creative inspirations PCP Monthly challenge Christmas. The image is a digi stamp from digitalpenciltoo. Mo does some fab drawing and just wish i had the lot.
Have coloured with my promarkers and used my nestie. papers are dovecraft from last year.

creative inspirations DT card

Well gosh another week gone and the kids went back to school here today. Gosh they did look good in their new uniforms.
Well this week over at creative inspirations the theme is a nice an easy one. Blue and Brown. Now how easy is that you can let your imagination run riot and use all your fave goodies.

I have use one of the Gorjess Girls from Sugar Nellie. Papers are from CCS Big Book got soo much in this thought i would use some and perfect colours. Coloured with Promarkers. Flower from stash with a touch of brown promarker on the edge. Fibers instead of ribbon this time. Oh forgot to add the spacer is kindly donated from Erin. Thanks Erin appreciate you sending them. Touch of faux stitching to finish off.

Well we had some fab entries again this week and i apoligse for not getting round to you all as i am in the middle of packing up my house to move hopefully it wont be too soon but as there is only me here you can imagine it is a massive job as we have lived here 24+ years and down sizing is not as easy as it seems.

New Baby Penny Black

Well dont you just love doing new baby cards well i do. This is one of my fave stamps from the penny black range that i find suitable for babies that and the backet one.
Have used Papermania papers from a draw that Kimmi did on docrafts wow the papers i got have been so useful and therefore am entering this in her blog challenge this week only thought it fitting. Sentiment is a peel off, image is coloured with promarkers and used my nesties for the circles. Few buttons on the corner to balance it and a satin white ribbon.

Mummu & Me

Well i got this image from mo's digitalpencils and just had to play. It is just adorable. I chose to use blue's and greens. Did this for a friend's birthday as i showed her the site and she just fell in love with this. Coloured with promarkers. 3d glased over the image. papers are papermania and basic grey and ccs big book. Flowers from stash. An epoxy sentiment. I have use the mojo monday sketch 101

Touch of Purple Tilda

Hi yes managed to get 2 cards done today having a rest from the old packing as my back is playing up.

Had this tilda image sent to me a while ago and have been waiting to use it. Papers are from my stash and i got the spacers from a very kind friend this week. have been dying to have a play with these. hope she likes what i have done.

Manga Boy plays the sugar bowl

This is my entry for this weeks I play the Sugar bowl. Isnt he just the most handsome boy. I used my promarkers to colour him and paper from my stash. Added a ball button and a star brad and 2 gems. I am sending this to a special little boy who's birthday is the 1st week inseptember hope he will like it.

Creative Inspirations DT Friendship card challenge

1stly let me apoligise for not being around but i am in the process of clearing my house and looking for another. Down sizing by 2/3rd so nothing will fit. lol

GG docraft challenge

This is the 1st time i have done this challenge. The theme this week was RED, Black and White. Extra elements was, vellum, peel offs and border.
I used my peel offs as a border with some red ribbon. The flowers are vellum and the image is coloured with promarkers

Hoppy Birthday

Well gosh the weeks are flying by the kids will soon be back at school, I know some have already gone back.

This is my Dt card for Creative Inspirations the theme this week is Dots, Spots and Circles. Well that leaves lots to have fun with. I got this image from a good friend Sarah. He is just full of mischief. Coloured with my Promarkers, Paper is Basic Grey I think. Green strip has been run through my machine with the dots folder. Nestie sentiment. Nice and simple card lads dont like fuss. Lol. have a birthday for a little lad soon so will come in very handy.

DT Creative Inspirations #21 Gift Box

Well it is Wednesday again and time for you all to see my next DT project for Creative Inspirations.
This weeks theme is Gift Boxes /Bags. Nice easy one for you again. I am sure we all need to do a box or bag for someone or just decorate a box to keep some of your crafty goodies in. I made a card with the same design to go in mine but this is just me being me dont like boxes to stay empty wonder if i could decorate all my packing boxes for my house move. lol.
Well I have used for my layout Saturday Sketch. Image is one of my faves that i just come back to time and time again. Daisy from Sugar Nellie. Papers are Papermania and the bowes are from a ribbon of bowes. Flowers are from the works and sentiment is part of a new PB clear set with lovely Teddies on. Lilac base card. Friday Sketchers #64 Summer with Teddy

Got this new set of clear penny blacks last weekend just adore them and think that they are a gr

eat size as the clear sets used to be very small.

Coloured with my promarkers and used oddments of paper from my scrap box. The layout is from Friday Sketchers which is what i have made this for.

I am also entering this in the Whimsey stampschallenge as their theme is Animals and they did say something furry. Hope you like.

Chrismas Heidi

Got this cute image from CC Designs Swiss Pixie Heidi from a friend and just had to play. Papers are from my stash and Christmas ribbon from last year. Coloured with Promarkers and a touch of glitter for the wings. Delightful Sketches provided the layout although i have flipped it. Also Paper Take Weekly this week have the theme to make a cards in 1 of the four seasons well dont know about you but after summer christmas is my fave.
I am also entering this in the Winter Wonderland Blog Challenge Theme this week is Twinkle and Sparkle.I think Heidi has sparkle in her eyes with her cute face but plenty of sparkle on her wings.Sorry picture not too good.

Great News

Hi People sorry been away for few days from my blog might be away a little more. 1stly i have sold my house bit mixed feelings as this is the home my son has grown up in but since me and his dad has split it isnt the same so onwards and up wards. So now i have to find a new home for the 2 of us so plenty of stress packing and moving so my card making will be a blessing.
2ndly Kimmi from Stampin for the weekend has emailed me and asked if i would be a GDT for 2 weeks. silly question of course so trilled as she has am amazing number of talented people to choose from. The list of new DT's and GDT's are HERE

Creative Inspiration challenge # - Kickstand Miss anya

Well hello folks it is Wednesday so it is time for my DT card over at Creative Inspirations. This week we would like you all to make a Kickstand Card. Well if you are like me I hadnt heard of these then it is a card with the bottom of the front missing and the bottom of the image is the bottom of the front of the card. Hopefully the picture of my card will explain it better. Any theme, any colour so free range.
I have decided to use my Miss Anya from the second set just love these stamps. Papers are from my stash from last year. Image has been coloured using promarkers. Fibres from my stash and a few embellishments foam snow flakes and a small pot snowman.

whiff of joy - dragon

This is my entry for the whiff of joy challenge blog#40. Sketch by Donalda.
Used the dragon had this image coloured for a while but hadnt made into a card. Papers from my stash . Gems papermainia. Flower from stash and a pin with a grey pearl heart and some clear beads. Ribbon from stash.

I am also entering this in the Creative inspirations challenge #14 which is bling, be it diamonds, pearls or shine.
My bling is on the aubergine paper there is gold glitter, Pearls and clear beads on my pin and gems in the top right hand corner.

Just Magnolia - Surfs Up

I have used Edwin from the Summer Stamp kit. Some paper from Papermaina which i must have had the pad for a few years just never comes to the end. Coloured with my promarkers. Beads are from the early leaning centre pinched from kids box. lol Few gems from the papermania range.

Have just uninstalled Internet Explorer and re installed and they have now returned think it may have had something to do with Add ons. If you are having this problem and dont want to change to Mozillia firefox then try this 1st. Worked for me.

I Play the sugar bowl challenge 15 - Ribbons and Bows

Over at I play the Sugar Bowl Gayle has come up with this fab sketch and has added an extra challenge. Ribbons and bows.


I have used one of Leanne Ellis' stamps. Coloured with my promarkers and the papers are from the Laura Ashley Range. Added a touch of lace and a red ribbon with spots on to tie in with her dress.


I am keeping my fingers crossed this week because the prize is amazing the new Magna Stamps.

Truly Scrumptious - Miss Anya

Well this week Heather over at Truly Scrumptious came up with this fab Sketch which at 1st thought would be a real challenge not the easiest but did enjoy it.


Used my Miss Anya they are lovely to colour used my Promarkers and watercolours. Paper is Basic Grey and used plain card from Papermill in raspberry and french navy. Flowers punched with a woodware punch. Extra challenge was to use beads so have used for the corners and the flower centers. Have flipped the sketch for this one
