Lets do some embossing at Craft

Happy Thursday to you all and hope your all well and looking forward to the weekend. Today we have a nice easy challenge for you at Craft. We would like you to show us some
EMBOSSING
now this could be dry embossing or embossing powders just lets us see what you can do with it.

Now onto my card I have used from our sponsor Meljen Designs. Isnt he cute!

The centre panel has been embossed with my cuttlebug folder spots and dots and the flowers are a marianne die which I have then run through my machine and embossed with my dots folder. The Dp is from Bo Bunny pad and the strip paper is fro a pack i got from a garden centre. Little heart metal brads for the centres. Sentiment is from a clear stamp set and the image and sentiment have been cut out using a my XCut oval folder. Some kraft card to mount and some pearls from Meiflower crafts. Narrow ribbon from my stash. The layout I have flipped on its side and you can find the challenge in the list below. This card is in the post winging its way to a friend hope she likes.

Good morning Wednesday again  gosh the weeks are going so quckly and I noticed how light it is getting in the morning, it is so nice. Well Wednesday means time for another challenge at Creative Inspirations and this week we want to see lots of Buttons and Bows.

I coloured the image with my promarkers, Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, pearls from Meiflower crafts and local shop. Clock charm from my stash, Ribbon from Crafty Ribbons and local shop, Buttons from stash. Lace from local shop. Swirl stamp from the papermill. I have distressed the Dp which is a K&Co paper which has a vintage feel to it.

Well hope you like this is a slightly different style for me a touch of Vintage/ Steam Punk I think. Leave me a comment telling what you think, I love reading your comments.

Good evening I see the cold has returned it is bitter here in Manchester and I saw a few snowflakes today. Well it is friday so that means we have another challenge for you so stay in the warm and enter a challenge or two. So onto my card we where given some images to play with and I picked this sentiment to play with.

This is my 1st WOW card and they are not the easiest to take a picture of. I used some Glittered card and the embossed backing is from a friend isnt it fab. The Diecuts are all glittered and the sentiment is framed with a new Marianne die . White Satin Ribbon. That just leaves some pearls & gems from Meiflower to finish . I really enjoyed making this and think I might not be so scared next time.

So onto my card I used 2 imagesfrom our sponsor and merged them as they come in PNG files which makes life really easy in word.

I have coloured the images with my promarkers andadded some glitter on the wings. The die cut butterfly and flower is foam and is glittered with pearls from Mei flower crafts. The memory box die cut came from a friend which i have coloured with distressed inks. Ribbon to finish off is from Crafty Ribbons one of there bargins.( I actually won on there challenge last week so will be having a little spend again.) The Dp is K & Co

Good evening I am back again to share my Crafty Catz Dt card and this week it was my turn to pick a theme. Well with Valentines round the corner and I am thought lets go there but you MUST feature a heart in your work. I was lucky enough to be allowed to pick an image and I picked this fab couple called Bench Couple which I just love gosh could his tongue come out any further think he is definitely smitten.

I kept it clean and simple as I wanted the image to say it all and just mounted it on some red and just a cherry lyn die and a marriage die to make the flower a few gems to balance the corner and the simple sentiment in the corner stamped directly onto the card.

Creative Inspirations challenge - Sent with Love

Good evening well after all the snow yesterday today we have had a lovely sunny day although the wind was good but no rain which was really nice. This evening I am here to share with youmy DT card for Creative Inspirations

We where allowed to pick from there store and i downloaded this fab paper pack with Art Deco designs and this image of a love tree. Checkout there store excellent value for money

I matted the paper with some red card from papermill and some black for the image which I coloured with promarkers and added a red heart gem on one of the hearts. The sentiment is from a set of clear stamp think they are laura ashly ones i have had for a few years and never used naughty me. Kept it CAS  for this one with no embellishments other than the single gem.

Good evening i will keep this short and sweet not sure what happened to my post on Friday for Crafty Catz but it has gone into Cyber Space so here it is again and fingers crossed it works and stays.

So here is my creation it is gift voucher bag inside is a flap which holds eith some pennies or a gift voucher

The bag is a pearlized card and the flowers are felt with stitching and a pearl centre. The border is  Memory box spring. A Kitty charm,some pearl and some ribbon from my stash.

Make a Mask/ Use aMaski at Craft

Good evening tonight I am just about to head on up to bed bt thought i would share my Craft DT projects with you. This week we where asked to produce something with the theme of

Mask / Masking

Well this really stumped me, i know how to mask a stamp but really wanted to take the Mask image into my project. So I ended up doing both but before i show you let me tell who is sponsoring our challenge.

ok now onto my projects

1st is a card using a masking techique

 The image is coloured with promarkers and the papers are from Papermania. M.S Punch and ribbon from Crafty Ribbons, silver candy tots. The 2 stamps are Mouse from a Mag freebie and the Happy Birthday is a papermania wooden one. I stamped the mouse onto the paper and then onto a post it pad. cut the image out on the post it stamp then placed over the image and stamped the happy birthday stamp over it allowing the image to stay as if it is in front of the happy birthday.

 The 2nd is a invite to a party the yellow mask card is actually the inside of a GU pudding box i knew i had kept it for a reason. The mask is coloured with my gelly pens and i have added some gems . The ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons and the feather is from Hobbycraft.
