We're All Stitched Up At Crafty Catz

Good evening well it has been raining here in Manchester but hopefully it will stay dry till i get the dog walked. Gosh the week has past so quickly this week and this being Friday means that it is Crafty Catz time. This week it is Kims turn to pick the theme and also it is GDT Call time again.

Now onto my card and i picked this lovely little girl called Valentines girl with her heart think this would have been a lovely image for a mothers day but i picked birthday 

 I actually got my little sewing machine out for this one and used pink cotton in a zig zag stitch round the image and the base dp paper. Dp is from a big pack of papers I got from a garden centre but didnt have a name on so sorry folks. Ribbon is from Crafty ribbons and might even be from one of Bev's bags. Flower is a crochet one which a friend sent me but thought it went well with the image. I put a purple flower from wild orchid in the centre. used a M.S round the corner punch. Oh the image is coloured with promarkers and a touch of glitter gel  for the checks . Oh I just love the verse with this and there is also one with grandma instead of Mummy. I always find Mothers Day hard as i no longer have my Mum about and it is very close to her Birthday so Mum if you are looking down this one is for you.

Good Morning hope today brings you sunshine. Gosh today is the 1st March where did Februry go I know it is the shortest month but did i blink. Well today being the 1st March means it is St David's Day so to all my Welsh followers hope today is extra special. Sorry I don't speak welsh even though I was born there but my Mum could speak a little but wasn't allowed to go to a welsh speaking school as both her parents where not welsh.

Image coloured with my promarkers and papers are from my stash i have had this sheet for a few years and knew it would come in handy. Silk flowers from a local shop. Pearls are from QVC many many moons ago. Ribbon from Crafty Ribbons. Bow is from papermania capsal collection along with the dp strip in the centre of the card.Liquid pearls on the image. Think this card has been made with lots of supplies i have neglected.
It is nice to use such cheerful colours.

The centre panel has been embossed with my cuttlebug folder spots and dots and the flowers are a marianne die which I have then run through my machine and embossed with my dots folder. The Dp is from Bo Bunny pad and the strip paper is fro a pack i got from a garden centre. Little heart metal brads for the centres. Sentiment is from a clear stamp set and the image and sentiment have been cut out using a my XCut oval folder. Some kraft card to mount and some pearls from Meiflower crafts. Narrow ribbon from my stash. The layout I have flipped on its side and you can find the challenge in the list below. This card is in the post winging its way to a friend hope she likes.

I coloured the image with my promarkers, Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, pearls from Meiflower crafts and local shop. I have distressed the Dp which is a K&Co paper which has a vintage feel to it.

This is my 1st WOW card and they are not the easiest to take a picture of. I used some Glittered card and the embossed backing is from a friend isnt it fab. The Diecuts are all glittered and the sentiment is framed with a new Marianne die . White Satin Ribbon. That just leaves some pearls & gems from Meiflower to finish . I really enjoyed making this and think I might not be so scared next time.

So onto my card I used 2 imagesfrom our sponsor and merged them as they come in PNG files which makes life really easy in word.

I have coloured the images with my promarkers andadded some glitter on the wings. The die cut butterfly and flower is foam and is glittered with pearls from Mei flower crafts. The memory box die cut came from a friend which i have coloured with distressed inks. Ribbon to finish off is from Crafty Ribbons one of there bargins.( I actually won on there challenge last week so will be having a little spend again.) The Dp is K & Co
