Good evening well it has been a lovely day although still cold. Got some washing done. Oh I have news which I cant wait to tell you but I have to keep tight lipped for just a little time but watch this space. This week I have Had a top 5 and a win with my cards from last week so I am a very happy girl. 

Well today is the start of another challenge at CREATIVE INSPIRATIONS and we have a very easy one for you so no excuse not to link up.

Now for my card this week I had to make an Engagement card for a party that my son and his girlfriend where going to so what better than this challenge.

I have kept is fairly simple and used a monochrome theme with just a splash of red in the flowers. The happy couple was really please with it . Wild Orchid and The range, Charm & Gems from Meiflower Crafts the sentiment is computer generated. Card is from Papermill.

leigh craft fayre

Good morning i thought i would share what Tillytrotter and myself got up to yesterday. Well it is tillys birthday this month so i bought her a ticket for our local craft fayre she said she didn't need anything but as i said she could keep my from spending as too many teas of beans on toast doesn't give a health smell to my room oh the wind it causes Well we set off just after 10 short drive and with ticket get free drink so no need for flasks. getting on for 1hr+ and we are just leaving the 1st stall Oyster Crafts although I did watch a demo but oh the struggle to get to the sections and then the choice. Well i grabed what i thought I needed not wanted as it was the 1st stall. Then had a check of what i had in my hand thought oh i really shouldnt get that so having put back half. Iam a girl left the stall spending £70 so that was my limt and i did have money so no more card for me. Off we went to see the sizzex stall as we both have a bigshot and oh there was so much choice there again seems this year it is dies and not stamps. Well wepondered and looked and made all the lovely noises you make when you see things you would like. I wanted a set and tilly liked it too and whated a few other bits well then we went and had a look at the stamps and embellishments they had . Arm full we went to pay so thinking oh I can now get Tillys present i grabbed the set off her paid and presented it back to her with Happy Birthday. With a thank you and a smile she said let grab a drink net. So while i quened for the drinks she bought jacket potatoes for us. Yummy. Well now having well spent up I thought I just need some pearls and my tape and just a wonder round if tilly wanted. Off we went to meiflower but oh no no white pearls just mixed sets and where was the tape oh no i cant live without it. No the supplier hadnt delivered so Boo Hoo. Off we went for a wonder and found some stalls to watch demos a panpastel which was good  and then we found card and card blanks just basic needs. NOt wants Just need i say to myself. now i believe Kevin sent Tilly a message saying take a hold all or something. Wel he was right and what happened to Tilly stopping me buying. Oh well below are my goodies and please dont ask what we are eating for tea this week. Best was i thought I could put my card and few bits away but as i was taking these pictures my son came in.

So onto my card I made this for a neighbours Father to give to his wife. He wanted a nice one with flowers but not too over the top so did a simple layout . 

Coloured the image with my promarkers and added some glitter to the flowers hope you can see that. Used my M.S punches round the page. Some Crafty Ribbon gingham ribbon. Few Gems from Papermania and the DP is from Dovecraft from a pad I bought last year.

I have coloured the image with my promarkers. Used chalk for the clouds. The Kraft is actually the back of the Easter Egg box. The ribbon is from the hanging strings on a jumper, buttons are from a shirt that has gone to the recycle centre. Other items used are Papermania time for tea DP , Liquid pearls, Papermania heart doily Memory Box Dies and Dovecraft tiny punch.

Oh them shoes from Redonkulous- Crafty Catz DT Card

Good afternoon and a Good Good Friday to you all. Gosh i remember spending all day at Church when i was younger on Good Friday yes you read right. It was great we did lots of activities and a few services but really enjoyed ourselves. We took egg and cheese sandwiches because Mum said no meat and I didnt eat fish. Oh the good old days of St Clements Cof E. 

Well are you up to anything nice today. The sun is shining and after I have written this I am taking the dog and son for a nice long walk so guess I will be sleeping most of the evening. Well I have to make some room for my Easter Egg.

Friday brings another challenge at Crafty Catz and this week it is the lovely Diannes turn to pick the them and we all enjoyed popping by last weeks. So come on Sue what does Dianne what us to do this week.

Ok now onto my card. I was so excited about this and when I coloured it in and started to assemble it I just wasnt sure  on my papers. Guess that will teach me not to get the papers 1st. Anyway what do you think. I went more British flag colours/ navy theme.

The very dark card is actually navy think this is a hard colour to get a picture of.

Good morning from a snowy wind blown Manchester. omg where is spring and the clocks will be going forward real soon heating is on and still cold. Well enough of my moaning lets get onto todays card and this being Friday it is Crafty Catz time. Today is one of my Team mates Birthday so a BIG  Happy Birthday to Nick and wow tomorrow sees Nina another of the team celebrating her birthday.

It is Sassy's turn to pick our theme this week and Sassy being Sassy it just had to have Sparkle and Bows didnt it.

Oh she has such chubby knees just as i remember my sons.

I have used my promarkers to colour her and cut her out by hand then mounted onto a nestie scallop circle. the papers are from last months cardmaking and papercrafts  and i have added some lace from Aberkan craft shop and the lovely ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons. The wings just had to have lots of glitter and a few pearls from Mei Flower crafts around her. I have also surrounded her with some lovely shimmer chalk i do hope it shows up. The doliy has been sprayed with a mixture of Destress Inks and Illusion spray which i got last weekend. the flowers are all from Wild Orchid and i have sprayed the white ones with some Distress ink.

Time for a Giggle at Crafty Catz

So now onto my card hope it bring a smile to your face and i think this image was made for me because i am sure it was modelled on me

I have used my promarkers to colour this image of stella. The sent iment comes with the image and the Happy Birthday sentiment is a clear stamp from papermania. Dp is all from my stash a mixture of unknown large paper stack and a old papermania pad. The ribbon is a recent purchase from Crafty Ribbons called keep calm. i have just used a small amount as a added snetiment. The die cut leaves is a cutlebug die and i have used some recycled button as a flower with some twine centre. I have used some faux stitching around the sentiment and around the image.
well a simple layout to show off the image and i am sure you have all felt like this when leaving your car after a busy shopping day.
