Crafty Catz - We are back

Hello from a very warm and sunny Manchester.

Crafty Catz is back from their Summer Holiday wow that went far too fast. Loads of jobs i wanted to do and think most are still there.

Well I am the host this week and we dont have a sponsor so that means the ladies get to play with their own stash.

Challenge is Anything Goes but our twist Getting Ready For Christmas

We wont be having a prize this week but we will be awarding a TOP THREE

The image is a new one at PINK GEM DESIGNS called Christmas Jack

Question is he Naughty or Nice (bring me a present with that cheeky face and you are definitely Nice)

Kept it CAS

coloured with markers

fussy cut

added some fluffy stuff to his hat

few stars

sentiment is included and cut these then added some faux stitching round

all placed onto Black linen card(thought it made the image pop)

Matted on some Red card then placed onto a 6x6ich white card blanks

Well think he is ready for Christmas I just need a lot more cards and presents to get but that will be much nearer December

I am using a image I have had on file for a while called

starlyte and twinkles-_Sunshine elves collection

Image coloured with markers

Used lots of dies to make the background

Some glittered DP for the background

I do hope the sparkle shows as this really does sparkle and Christmas is a time for sparkle.

Well I hope if you are like me suffering with this heat we are getting but no I dont want winter yet. You find some time to maybe make a Christmas project might you feel cooler.

Christmas Kittens - Pink Gem Designs

 Good evening have you all had a good day hope so. 

I see we are due some bad rain & wind her in the Uk.

Well I guess a few days of warmth was nice.

Also are you going to be watching the football Sunday. I do hope they win. 

My nephews know the family well as they went to same schools

Well I have been making some more Christmas cards and this time I have used a lovely set called

Christmas kittens from Pink Gem Designs

I am using the black & white digital but there is a Coloured set for those extra quick cards

I have coloured the images with my Markers

Used some old DP matted on Silver Mirri

Die cut a circle snowflake boarder and embossed the inner circle with a snowflake folder.

I coloured the circle with Brilliance ink pad

sentiments come with the set and matted these with mirri card

Well that's another little set for my collection 

maybe Rory will pinch these too. He enjoyed his little induction just did a couple of hours and is going again on Wednesday but this time is staying for lunch and then coming home.

they said he made friends easy and even when a little autistic boy was having a moment struggling with something he went quietly over to him and said are you ok. They seem impressed he was in tuned.

He does have a friend at play group who is the same and refuses to come in the room till she sees him.

They seem to just get along and accept that we are all different in our own way.

For my card I am using

I coloured the image with my Markers

Background done with Markers and Distressed inks

Added some tiny gems to snow flakes that are on the image

Diecut a sentiment

All matted with black card and Silver Mirri card. 

I was trying to add a touch of the Northern Lights. Unsure if i managed

 Good evening it has been a lovely warm day here and I am busy making Christmas cards. Well if I dont while the urge is here no one will get any.

I have made a set of cards 5inch square thought it would be nice for my Grandson to give to some of the new friends he will be making in September at Nursery.

For my card I am making yet another Christmas card using

'Rudolph's selfie image no. 37

Coloured the image with Promarkers

used some old DP

Die for the bell and the empty photo negative(gosh gone are the days of these)

Stamped a stocking from a very old stamp set and fussy cut the sentiment also came from this set.

All layers have been mounted on black and used Kraft card for base and embellishments.

Well thats another one for my box starting to slowly fill.
