Let Us Remember My Great Grandads and more Heros

Great Granddads  resting place in Wimeraux.

My Aunt in Australia has made this and each year will add till 2018. All the flowers are handmade.

Pictures of both of  my Great Grandads who fought in the 1st world war.

The one in Red is Robert Davies 

he died 8 months after my granddad was born and only saw him once.

This is my other Great Grandad who survived and was awarded a medal for bravery for going back for an injured officer under heavy gunfire and approaching German infantry. This is him in his Demob suit 1919 with some of mates

This is a picture of him with my Great Gran in happier times 

dont they look a handsome couple.

Ok back to my card. Apology for the lighting we are having such bad weather so dark and wet.

 For my card this week I have decided to use a non Christmas image Oddella Fairy and one of the Frosted Winter sentiments. both of these can be purchased as downloads.As you can see i have gone with the clean and simple style. 

Lots of glitter on her dress not sure if it is showing though hopefully in the close up.

Well that is another for my box starting to look like I am getting there but still lots more to make.

This is Serenity - Fairy Kisses from Polkadoodles

This is another of the sample i did for the recent show featuring Serenity Wishes and also the new Popular Colour Therapy CD. If you didnt see the show why not. Well you must go checkout them in the shop HERE

Back to my card i went with more of the Oranges and brown colours for this one with touches of red in my ribbon. Coloured with my promarkers. papers from the collection. Ribbons from my stash and a lovely metal Butterfly. The sentiment is also from the collection. Just love the variety on this collection and I know that it has been a major success on Create & Craft.

I made a Tag but this is also a gift card as the back has a pocket which i will add either some money or a gift card. I thought to do this as it is my sons birthday Monday and he always say he is sick of my cards(cheeky monkey)

Pretty In Pink Sweet Serenity Princess

Good afternoon I thought I would share with you another of the samples I did for Polkadoodles Create and Craft Show.

This one features the Cd Serenity Wishes available as a download from the shop as well HERE

As she is a Princess what other colour could i do her in. Yes lots of Pink and Pastel colours.

The papers are also from the collection. I used a punch for the flowers and a embossing folder for the centre panel. Some pink spiders webbing for the bow and some yummy pearls.

Do you like the delicate colours or do you like stronger colours?
