Paper Piecing

Well hello it is wednesday again and my 3rd project for my Guest Design spot over at Creative Inspirations. This week we would like you all to join in and make something using the theme of Paper Piecing. I am also entering this in this weeks Just Magnolia as their finishes tomorrow and the theme is paper piecing so how lucky was that.


I have use Tilda from the spring collection and papers are papermania and oddments for her dress ( paper pieced). The spotted lace on the dress is the back of an evelope. waste not want not. Lol. Cuttlebossed the pink strip with dots. Added a few gems and a handmade flower and leaves are from a punch made by woodware. Sorry not sure the make of the small punch. The cake is a freebie stamp on a mag which i have paper pieced too. Touch of glitter as it is a girls best friend

PC Crafter Elephants Walking

This week at the Manchester meet the theme was elephants and as i dont have much found this download on mycomputer that i got from PC Crafter a while ago. Papers are from my stash and i printed the image twice and layered it.

Elephants 2 challenges in one

I am entering this into the Spoon full of sugar challenge and the theme is to have butterflies somewhere. Also this was Sharons challenge at the Manchester Meet at Warrington.
Image was kindly donated and sharon provided the card blank folded and also the acetate. We had to use 3 - 5 brads some ribbon and a sentiment. The Butterflies are Brads and are on the acetate some looks like they are flying. Sorry picture not too good.

Had to do my nephew a card so thought this image from Dotties World Mikey was just perfect.
Papers are Papermania, Basic Grey Boxer and the strip is a piece of handmade paper from my stash.
Buttons are from my button box.

Tilda Country side.

Over on Docrafts we have a Tilda weekly challenge and this is this weeks. Well this is my challenge card set by my friend Jules.

Country side, flowers, buttons. Hope this fits the bill and is coloured with my new promarkers still got along way to go and need more colours too. Papers are a mixture of dovecraft and basic grey. Buttons have little bees on. Image is from the spring collection.

Last Day for my 1st week on my guest spot 3 to go

Just wanted to share

This is a picture of my sons birthday card he made me. Say he is rubbish at cards but i think he did good. Mind you he has been warned not to use too much of my stash but he picked everything and coloured and choose the layout so only thing i did was thread his ribbon but he stuck it down didnt see it till it was finished.

Quick post as today is my birthday

Well had a fab weekend son came home but has now gone back. Went to the pictures to see Angels and Demons and then chris made my tea love his chinsse and had a large glass of wine. Dont normally drink but well special treat. Sunday got up and opened my post which came over the last few days. Brother and 2 nephews called with my present 3 sets of promarkers so i am well pleased. Got some money so will be getting some tildas.

Great News

Well have to share my son has just come home on a very short visit didnt expect to see him for at least another month. He phone yesterday and said would i like a visitor for the weekend as it is my birthday on sunday. Lol. He even paid for his own train ticket. So if i am missing this weekend thats why.

Penny Black docrafts challenge

Over on the Docrafts forum there is a Penny Black Challenge every week and this week it is Football yes thats right now it isnt actually the game the colours of your team. Well it had to be Manchester United being a Salford Girl didnt it.
All items are oddments from my stash so hope you like. Did use my new nesties how did i manage before we had these. lol.

Nephew s Mikey Birthday Card

Asked to make a birthday card for my nephew with about an hours notice so having just got this i decided it would be great as he is 19.
Image is from Dotties world and the rest from my stash. Hope he likes it. I have entered this into the One Stop Craft challenge which lets hear it for the boys.

Fairy Doodle Slider Card - GDT Creative Inspirations

Well hello everyone it is Wednesday and my start as Guest Design Team Member for June over at Creative Inspiration well I am well excited and hope i do them proud. I am also entering this into the Truely Scruptious challenge Brief for this being more than 1 fold.

This week on Creative inspiration we have been given the brief of something hidden. I have chosen a Slider card which I must say looks harder than it was.
Love these little stamps from Fairy Doodle and the images are from 2 sets "Sent with Love" and "Just for You".
Paper is from CCSR used the Black to match in with the characters.
Images are watercoloured and then 3d glossed. Wings have glitter on not too sure if this comes across in the picture and base card had to be yellow.

Do hope you will all join us with this brillient challenge would love to see what you all come up with.

Afternoon to you all

Well the sun is shinning and i even have a dress on which is very unusal for me. Done my washing and it is sat drying nicely on the line. So off to my Dad's and may even pop into the papermill for some card on the way back. Hope you are all enjoying the sun. Well that silly because you wouldnt be reading this. Oh well hope the sun is shinning where you are and have a lovely day.

Penny Black Perrrrrrrrrrect Birthday Card

Have made this card for my nephew's birthday but have combined 2 challenges. Creative Inspirations where the theme this week is Male Card. Great theme with father's Day coming up and perfect timing for my nephews birthday. So please go and check the challenge out as i have now a vested interest as i have just been announced the winner of Junes Guest Designer Spot. How is that.
The 2nd challenge is over on the Docraft Forum Penny Black Challenge. This is to make a card using the colours brown, cream and blue and also to use a 1,2,3 formula.

Felicity Sweetheart

This weeks Challenge on Pollycraft Monday Challenge blog is set by Sue and is Monochrome.
I have used Felicity Sweetheart and choosen the colour Blue. I have used a cuttlebug folder to emboss the dots on the light blue card and used a base Turquose card and mounted with the same card. The backing paper is from papermania. Swirls from my kind friend christine and are the Bigz Sizzex range in dark blue. A few punched flowers to finish. Hope this fits the challenge and thank you for looking.
