Good morning is it snowing where you are it is trying very hard here but i think it may turn to rain fingers crossed. So onto my card for this fab challenge we where luck enough to be given some fab images from THE PAPER SHELTER  and i picked this cutie.

I have gone with a more pastel theme something i havent done for ages. DP is from my stash sorry i must stop taking them out of my pads but i do know it came from the lovely Elaine. The die cut bird is thanks to tilly and i coloured with distressed inks. The image is coloured with promarkers and the button and ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons from some candy i won at The papertake challenge. Memory box die, sentiment from Lili of the valley lace from stash , white rafia from Janette, gems from Miaflower crafts and circled but with my nesties on a Kraft base card. Wow think I have all the elements covered.

For my card I have used a image from karen Doodles called vava voom isnt it fan just look at his face. I found this ribbon which I got from Crafty Ribbons. Lots of red peel off yesthose things we forget to use but they matched my mirri card. The DP is for a Papermania Christmas pad. The heart is a Nellie Shelden die.
Well hope you like the take on the ribbon and the peel off sentiment the expression on his face is he scared or is he thinking i cant believe my luck.

Good Saturday evening well dont think it is getting any warmer here in manchester and the schools closed early yesterday tut tut we had to go roads where ok and just text messages sent out to parents.

Well with the children home early i am sorry I forgot to post this till now had saved but just forgot to finish. So here it is

Now onto my project I actually made one of these for my teamie Janette which if you are a follower of my blog and Craft you will have seen but this one is a different colour and i have done a slightly different arrangement on it.

The heart is a ceramic heart from a local shop which i have added wild orchid roses cherry lyn flourish cheesecloth and Mei Flower clear gems. This is not purely for christmas and think would make a lovely heart for valentines day

Tilly was really pleased with it and i do hope you like it too.

For my project I used 2 images from Bugaboo in there sheep collection just love these characters. I also coloured them with my promarkers and added some ribbon, candy dots and a flower from my spellbinder dies. The sentiment on the from is a new whimsy stamp. The image is from the fab new series of stamps from Stamping Bella Uptown Girls they are really quite big stamps as this is a large 8x8inch card. The papers are from my stash and are from a very old pad that I think are Dovecraft. Used my promarkers. Some lace and ribbon from Crafty Ribbons and some candy dots coloured with promarkers. I have added some glitter to her dress. Layout is from Sketch N Stash.

Ok so onto my creation for this weeks challenge i have used a Bugaboo image which i have coloured with my promarkers. I got this image from a win from last year and have been waiting to use it.

Where did Thursday go so I guess I had better share my Dt creation for Craft with you and this week our theme is a colour theme and those of you that saw my last weeks will see I could have entered it as this week it is a blue theme. Well my card features home made paper using distressed inks again but this time I used a stamp a stamp from our sponsor and here is a picture of the stamp.

 I was really pleased how it turned out and I don't think it actually looked like a tree used like this. Another use for my stamps. Also I have used one of my lili of the valley stamps coloured with my promarkers. Few gems and of course I had to use some ribbon and a nice big bow. The layout is from bearly mine sketch.

I think I am using lots of blue again and would love you to come and join use check the challenge blog for the rules but remember no other colour than these except for the skin and hair.

I made this card for my son's girlfriends birthday just before christmas. the stamp is a freebie from docrafts. I used her fave colour for the theme. Used some black and gold wide ribbon and some black gems from Meiflower crafts. The other swirl and corner stamp are from a clear stamp set I have had for a few years that hardly seen light of day. Design your own Backng at Craft

Good morning hope you are all keeping well nearly weekend again. Today is Thursday and now it is time for another challenge at CRAFT and I have to tell you I nearly ran for the hill when Jo came up with

MAKE YOUR OWN BACKING PAPER

totally out of my comfort zone but hey when I got to it I kind of enjoyed it.

I have used a image from Saturated Canary and have used shades of Blue for my card.

sorry about the dark picture but light is so bad one day i will get a good daylight lamp. I have coloured the image with my promarkers. The sentiment is a whimsy stamp. Ribbon is from my stash. Card is from Papermill. Now my backing paper is made by stamping in various inkpads with a set of very tiny stamps. The paper behind the image is made with distress inks I dab it onto a non stick sheet and then sprayed water and then placed my paper onto it. I then dried my paper with a heat gun. I thought it looked a bit like the rain we have been having lately. Added a blue gem to the sentiment and a few drop gems. 

Well what do you think of my backing paper. Dont forget that the rest of the team has made some fab creations so check them out for more inspiration.

Tiime to Celebrate

Good Morning and HAPPY NEW YEAR I hope this will be a good one for you. Did you have a busy one or a quiet one like me. I spent it with my son and his girlfriend eating and watching a film promptly followed by all 3 of us falling asleep well guess that means we where relaxed. We all woke just before the clock at midnight to welcome it in.

Now as it is Wednesday that can only mean that it is CREATIVE INSPIRATIONS time and for our 1st challenge of the year it could only be CELEBRATIONS this could be any celebration.

This challenge also see our new DT's join us but sadly this is the last one for one of our teamies Rebakah we wish her well and hope to see her joining us in a few challenges along the way.

DP is Papermania from many moons agao. Flower is made from several flat flowers and a wild orchid rose coloured with distress ink. Memory box die, die cut sticker sentiment, doily from the range, M.S punch with ribbon along the centre, image coloured with my promarkers. Dont normally do black hair but fairly happy with it although think i still need some practise. I have kept it in a Lilac theme too. Oh and of course some glitter for the stars.

For my project I made a heart well decorated it as a present for a friend hope you like as much as she did.

The heart I bought from a local shop wish I had got more as would have liked to make some for myself. I used flowers from Wild Orchid cheesecloth and die cut which is a Cherry Lyn. The Heart is a cream pottery.

Hi well i did say I would be back with my 2nd post and here it is.

I have used a Xcut oval to cut my base card in a mat gold coloured card. Smaller oval cut in Red and then the Dovecraft paper. Printed the image in black added a touch of red and some glitter and chalked round it. The snowflake border is a memory box which I have chopped and layered behind. A nestability flower and a papermania bell with red satin ribbon.

Well hope you like this I am not sure if I do but guess someone will be getting it for christmas. Now do you make your own card shape blanks or buy them either way we would love to see them made into cards it doesnt have to be christmas theme. Hope to see you over there and thanks for popping by.

Morning I have 2 posts for you today and time at this year is so very short so will get on with it. Hope you are getting ready for christmas if not all done.

I have made this for a little boy who is 2 so think this is the perfect image.
Image coloured with promarkers with a touch of glitter and the tree is a memory box love this but oh it takes ages to get out of the die without breaking but think is worth it. Dovecraft and papermania papers. Ribbon is from stash and is a small bit with no name sorry. I will add his name before giving the card somewhere.
Well off to wash my pots get the hoover out and finish my order oh and do the shopping have a little trip to see Tilly before she flys out of  the country hope she is in but that might be tomorrow. Cant stop her packing can i.
